Veterans Memorial Playground

A great place to visit for picnics, parties, or park events! The most recent visit was a great concert by Gary David Reece, a former resident and local high school graduate.

Such an amazing place for any event! This is our second year at the pretzel festival and we are just so in love with the place! Germantown would be a great place to live.

Their shelter is very clean and handicapped restrooms well maintained. Loved the area.

A perfect small but adequate playground within a few yards of a shelter house full of picnic tables with restrooms(closed for season while we were there). Nearby is a basketball court, a gazebo, a train track with caboose, swimming pool, and of course the fire station and police station across the parking lot. It's quiet and safe and ideal.

LOMO Camp visited today and had a great time! What a wonderful park!

It's one of the best place for anybody to visit the park! You can do your drawing, painting, play in park, have picnic or walk a dog!

The pretzel festival was awesome! Had a good time ate great food, good music lots of vendors to choose from. Almost the size of yellow springs street fair!

Pretty nice area for a small festival. Was able to walk around and see everything.

It was crowded until it rained, but the pretzel fest was interesting and will definitely check it out next year. Very long line for one of the homemade,cooked on the spot pretzels. Will try a different vendor next time.

Went for the Pretzel fest, stayed for the lovely playground. A quiet neighborhood but the people do drive fast.

Great playground. Has a large shelter area with restrooms. It's very clean. Basketball courts. Large open lawn area for kids to run.

Easily one of the best public playgrounds I've been too. Clean, fun, and spacious. Nice job Germantown.

Nice park, My kids grew up there and so did my Grandkids. My cousins Memorial tree is there also, he drowned saving a litgle boys life.

A vintage atmosphere. Excellent little park with much to offer. Antique train, swimming pool and the local police department. Home of the Pretzel festival.

Beautiful park with playground, historical features, shelters, walking paths, basketball court, plenty of shade from lovely, old-growth trees and in the summer months, a swimming pool 🏊

Very nice park everybody's friendly reasonable prices for swimming family orientated

Park is well kept and next to police station. If you play pokemon go it has several "gyms" and pokestops.

Great time at the Pretzel Festival! Hopefully go back again next year!
