Island Cottage Inn

Very cozy, nice room. It's great to have beach chairs and an umbrella without extra fees. It would be nice if the snacks were free as well ;p.. A slice of banana bread with a cup of coffee was good enough for a complimentary breakfast.
My issue with the location is that it has no sand beach; but still, the beach overall was okay.

Reviews were spot on. What a precious, quaint and peaceful place to stay. The inn was so well thought out, and the managing partners who live on property and run the inn were the ultimate hosts. We stayed in Suite One, and enjoyed the gorgeous space. Unsure if it was because we were there mid-week at the end of May, but we literally had the beach to ourselves every day. The inn guide offered recommendations for dining. We hit up a majority of them, and not one disappointed. What a picturesque locale for a few days away to unplug and unwind.

Only recommendations we would have for other guests is to bring a cooler large enough to store a bag of ice and bring your own. They provided, but we use a considerable amount of ice, so we kept depleting their community stock.

I would 10/10 recommend the Island Cottage Inn if you are planning to stay in or around Flagler Beach. The staff is absolutely amazing, welcoming and helpful. The Inn is private and quiet, grounds immaculate, the pool area was pristine, and the view of the Atlantic Ocean from suite 2 and the pool deck were unbeatable!. The room was spotless, bed was super comfy, and the shower was amazing! The extras they offer such as beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels, among others were a thoughtful touch and much appreciated! We can wait to come back and hopefully spend more time there next time around!

Looking forward to a return trip! Such thoughtful hosts and cozy touches in the rooms and amenities. Everything you could want in a beach getaway. Away from the crowds in town but close enough to walk or bike for restaurants or sight seeing (complimentary beach cruisers available). Gorgeous quiet beach across the road with complimentary chairs and umbrellas. We had a wonderful visit.

This amazing spot should be on the radar for all folks looking for a quick and charming little getaway. The rooms were so nice, everything was meticulously laid out for us, including the cheese and fruit board (you can add this at booking). The pool was lovely, as were the lounge chairs on the pool deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The complimentary light breakfast in the morning on the outdoor seating area of the cafe was so nice. The Operating Partners were very welcoming and you could tell they care deeply about the business.

Awesome experience here. Will definitely need to come back. The staff are amazing, the facilities are romantic and clean, it's quiet and private, and the complimentary and purchased goods are fantastic. We really loved the welcome package and the picnic lunch on the beach. Bikes are available and so worth using to travel down a mile to watch the surfers and helps to get from bar to bar as well if that's your thing.

I was on site doing AC maintenance and was thoroughly impressed with the way the place is operated. While I was there I saw a room being cleaned and it did not have a spot missed and smelled great. The staff was super accommodating to me which does not happen at most businesses we service. I will definitely recommend to all friends and family that comes into town.

My boyfriend and I had to come into town for one night and found this place. Immediately we knew we were going to love it. And we definitely did! We ended up adding another night the day we were supposed to check out simply because we could not part ways with this place. The hosts went above and beyond our expectations! We were more than impressed with everything about this place. They offer bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, games, and so much more I can’t list everything. The super cute cafe offers coffee , breakfast, many other delicious options. Anytime we texted or called they came immediately. The rooms were spotless and so comfortable. And so freaking cute!!!! I can’t express how beautiful and aesthetically pleasing the entire property was!!!! Absolutely stunning. Everything. I think I took 2 million pictures while we were there lol. I could go on and on I can’t recommend and thank them enough! We seriously can’t wait to come back! So glad we found this gem💙 I hope everyone gets to experience this place!! And our puppy got to come with us!!! On the beach!!!!

What a gem! As a Florida native, this is the best place to stay for a coastal getaway. The managers and staff were very nice and accommodating! Dex, one of the managers, showed me to our room and toured the property. Throughout our stay, it was relaxing and quiet. Excited to come back!

We loved our stay! The nicely decorated rooms are clean, the managers take great care of the inn, serve a healthy breakfast and a lovely Friday happy hour. You will love your stay and the beautiful sunrises!

This place was incredible, The owners take pride and passion in making these suites the way they are. The location is perfect and having a designated parking spot for your suite is even better. Staying with the Island Cottage Inn was the perfect place to stay with a low-key vibe and great beach access. I called and spoke with Dax about just staying for a night of course under the age that is preferred with getting a standard hotel room and he was super accommodating and understanding, Great place to stay with my 2-day vacation. Thank you guys!

I booked Room 8, which was the pawfect space for me and my dog. The pet fee is well worth it- the room was supplied with dog bowls and food mat, treats (my dog was very pleased to find), a dog blankie, doggie bags.. very sweet. The parking space is directly outside the room, which made it easy to juggle my overnight bags and dog. While the property itself doesn’t have a dog walk, the street has plenty of grassy areas, plus the beach is dog friendly. The inn has a breakfast cafe, a zen garden, beach excursion gear, pool, etc. Dogs are not allowed in the common areas, but I only stayed the night. Everything has been updated and very clean. The mini fridge/room is supplied with extra snacks, for a charge, and the offerings are keenly selected (good craft beer, for instance). I ordered the Welcome Package.. the cookies were warm when I arrived☺

What an absolute gem of a property. There was no detail the owners didn't add their personal touch to. Beautiful rooms, newly renovated and super clean. Great location and wonderful pool!

I’m a local and come here for happy hour regularly. The managers (Dex and Colton) are fantastic and always make me feel so welcomed. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, they have a good selection of wines and beer, and the charcuterie boards are by far the best in the area. Any time I have friends or family in the area for a visit I bring them in. The ambiance is unmatched in the area and the location is absolutely wonderful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Flagler Beach.

The Island Cottage Inn is a beautiful and quaint property. I would absolutely stay there again - loved the waterfall courtyard, the location to the beach can't be beat. The breakfast area and pool are very clean - looks like they have done a fair amount of updating. The only thing I didn't like about my room was that it didn't have an enclosed bathroom. It's a completely open concept. Alone, it was fine. I wouldn't fee comfortable traveling with another person. Stay at the Island Cottage Inn - but if you want privacy, you may be more comfortable in one of their other amazing suites/rooms.

This little gem is not to be missed! We had never been to Flagler beach before and it was such a change from the usual crowded busy cities we have visited over the past few years in Florida. The two inn keepers were amazing- friendly, professional and caring. They are very attentive to the guests. The room was beautiful and the pool area was like being at a high end resort except without all the people! We loved this place! Highly recommend!

The island Cottage was just what me and my partner needed. We have had a very hot and long summer as we both work outside in the landscape business. We needed a place to decompress before the “snowbirds” come back from their summer retreats. The room was perfectly secluded and cozy. Quiet and quaint with beach access and small town vibe. Absolutely perfect!

The Island Cottage Inn was the perfect romantic getaway for us. We parked our car at checkin and didn’t leave the entire time. Suite 6 was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The bed is like a cloud making it easy to rest after a day on the beach & at the pool. We used the Inns bikes to ride to Finn’s and to the pier, it was an easy 15 minute bike ride. The property managers were constantly working to make sure everything was clean and available for guests. Breakfast was delicious! The blueberry muffins were the best. Thanks for the relaxing stay. The only thing I would advise guests about is that the beach is sloped making it more difficult to walk on than a typical flat beach but it was private and beautiful, we found beautiful shells and saw manatees and dolphins.

What a gem! Everything about our stay here was exceptional!! The owners' attention to detail was everything!! We stayed in Suite One and it was absolutely wonderful! The entire suite was beautifully decorated. Hubby and I found it to be perfect for a romantic getaway. The pool area was very nice. (I won't forget my swimsuit next time!) We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!
