From the moment I arrived at the trailhead, I knew that my experience was going to be exceptional. The trail, which appeared neat and tidy on satellite images, was even more impressive in person. Starting my walk from the peaceful and quiet Turnbridge Park, I made my way through a serene meadow, surrounded by sprawling fields of lush grass and trees. The air was thick with an earthy and refreshing fragrance, which greatly enhanced my overall experience. The stillness of the air was calming and refreshing, creating a serene environment that was perfect for a leisurely walk. I encountered several locals walking along the trail in groups, indicating that the trail is a popular destination among residents of the area. As I approached the Cherokee Park, I witnessed a huge crowd of people - parents and children - participating in the yearly Easter egg hunts. The parking lot was filled with a multitude of vehicles, which suggested that the trail is a well-known and beloved feature of the local community. Despite the lack of amenities, such as restrooms or water fountains, the trail is well-maintained and clean, with only a few benches for visitors to rest on. The trail is open to the public, and there is no admission fee to enjoy its natural beauty. Overall, my experience on the Cherokee-Turnbridge Trail was delightful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the great outdoors. With its peaceful surroundings, natural beauty, and convenient location, this trail is a true hidden gem. I only wished that I had a similar trail in my own neighborhood.

Nice park for walking with my dog. Has both a paved trail and another through the woods along the creek. Very scenic.
