I live in New Jersey so I took a drive up to Fultonville, NY to get fitted for my jacket.
Carrie was extremely helpful and took a lot of time to make sure everything was done correctly.
Each jacket is handmade and because of this you are told in advance the approximate production time.
I was given an expected time of six weeks.
My jacket arrived on time. Approximately 2 days prior to shipping, you will be sent tracking information.
The quality of the jacket is top notch. Very few things are custom made in the USA anymore.
Well worth the six week wait!
If you are looking for a jacket that will last throughout your career and that can be handed down to the next generation of pilots in the family...... Look no further.

The turnaround time on the custom leather jackets are long, but man is it worth it. Absolutely the best feeling, best fitting cold weather flight jacket I’ve ever owned. Carrie spent about twenty minutes on the phone with me to ensure I felt good about my order and to make sure my questions were answered. Most assuredly a worthwhile investment for your flight career. Thanks Carrie!!

I had a tailored a2/g2 made and it came out wonderful. It fits right (I'm a big guy) and I've worn it daily during cooler months for a few years without any defects or issues.

Ordered a few mesh helmets for our bi-plane ride business. Carrie M was great to work with and she went above and beyond in helping me! Thank you!!

I bought my Jacket 22 years ago. Best jacket I ever had. It still looks new after many years of airline use!

Perrone makes a high quality leather jacket that exceeded my expectations! Well worth the money. My only complaint is the time it took after I ordered. If it takes 3 months to make and deliver the jacket so be it, I just wished they had said that when I ordered so I could plan accordingly. To their credit, Carrie was quick to respond to my email inquires and keep me updated on the progress of my order.

Perrone makes a great product but be prepared to wait and then when you are done waiting give them a call and wait some more because it took FIVE MONTHS for them to fulfill my order for a leather jacket. I'm glad they are made in America and the quality is good but the turnaround time is unacceptable. If you need a jacket you must order it early, like 5 months early or buy one somewhere else.

Placed an order for a name patch nearly 2 months ago. They took my money, but no patch. Crickets
Update!! They called back the next business day, and assured me it was here. I just got home and it is not only here, but of nice quality. The wait was still long, and some info as to the order status would have been nice.

It took 12 weeks to finally get my jacket. Once I opened the box there was a note saying they didn’t include the liner and it’ll take another 6 weeks for another one to come in. 18 weeks for a jacket. Over a third of a year. Will have nearly gone an entire winter waiting.

Must say that this company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Hands down. It has been over 2 months since I made the order and it only shipped this week because I finally got them on the line and demanded that they get things moving. Apparently there was a problem with the name tag, and they were holding the jacket (which was ready) from shipping.
I understand that this jacket takes a while to prepare and that is not my issue with this company. However the fact that there is no communication is very bothersome. Other than a $400 charge to my credit card about a month and a half in (of which no notification was made by Perrone, I just randomly noticed it on my CC statement), I received no indication of the order progress.
Like others have said, this company is getting my business only because I am restricted by my employer to this product, otherwise I would take my $400 elsewhere.

Edit: I see that they throw around the fact that their phone lines are down pretty often. My advice to you guys at Perrone, get a better phone service provider. You are over 100 year old company that sells $400 products, I'm sure you can make that happen. It'll definitely do good for your customer service.

When I received my jacket I sent it back due to poor stitching by the zipper. I waited 3 months of hearing nothing before sending multiple emails and trying to call multiple times to get an update on my jacket. When I did get a hold of someone they stated that they were in the process of getting a timeline of when it would be done and would get back to me. I called several weeks later to finally get an update. On top of that they never sent the name patch for the front of the jacket and when I called them about the repair they stated it was being sent. Then when I followed up on the repair that it would be sent with the jacket, which it never was. Now I am in the whole process again with multiple emails and attempted phone calls to get my name patch that was supposed to be sent 3 separate times now. We are now approaching 9 months from when I originally ordered the jacket.

I made an order in November. Didn't hear from anyone for 3 months. It took forever and was difficult to talk to someone on the phone (can't leave a message because their system is broken), and when I did finally talk to someone, I was told only a few more weeks. By the 4th month, I canceled the order. However at month 5 the order showed up at my house anyway (after they refunded my money 2 months prior). This place doesn't seem organized in the slightest. I will be returning this jacket.

As with many other reviews on this "Company" This One Star is far more than I would rank them. My original order was in Feb, months later with no communication, I tried regularly, I received the jacket in May. The size was too large and I returned it via FedEx May 17. I finally got a hold of the infamous "Carrie" in late June. "Oh your return jacket was received and the new one will be send directly after the 4th July Holiday. Now 23 July, no jacket, many calls to her and NOTHING but a voicemail. Horrible customer service. And for some reason our Airline chose these fools as our "Official Provider"....wow

I ordered a jacket and waited almost 10 weeks before cancelling the order due to poor customer service. The only email they responded to was the cancellation email. I sent several prior asking for an update after the deadline of 7-8 weeks. No response to my voicemail either. Do not recommend ordering from them.

This review is one star only because I cannot submit it with zero. I have to add my concurrence with , almost, every other review. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. While their product may (I still have not received mine) be good their customer service is the worst I have ever received. They will not respond to email or return your call if you leave a voice mail. The only way to get in touch with them is to dedicate an entire day to calling them every five minutes until they finally pick up. You will then be given a line on how they are understaffed, they've lost power, it's too late for them to guarantee pick up today and any variation on the effects of the local weather. While this may initially delay the order it should not do so for 2+ continuous weeks until the customer calls again to get another update. You will be placed on hold so they can talk to the "production manager" and after a few minutes they will placate you with a (new) shipping date in order to get you off the phone. That date will come and go and you will find yourself repeating this cycle weeks feeling much like Sisyphus. I have been given four shipping dates (all of them occurring 3 months after the order was placed AND payment was received) and only after continually calling them. I am now at the 5 1/2 month point and still have yet to receive my jacket. I would welcome the opportunity for the owner to contact me for details as I have the dates of the calls and the promises made by the staff.

Ordered my jacket April 10th. Was told it would be shipped June 25th. It is now August 3rd and they don’t even answer my calls or emails. Poor poor customer service. Avoid them if at all possible.
