so i went in because my gaming computer started overheating and crashing out so i took it to them for a full check out because i already knew i had to get some parts replaced. it took about 2-3 weeks for a full repairs and part deliveries (could've been shorter but i wanted to make sure everything was updated like BIOS drive ETC)i needed new thermal paste and a whole new motherboard. Tyler the one who repaired my laptop did a amazing job. i was able to run Overwatch on it again without it overheating and crashing out (would still get hot but only because Alienware laptops usually hot, but not overheating hot) which was awesome would definitely come back for any repairs or cleaning

Took my gaming laptop in to get repaired and this business is great! My computer was fixed in one day and they were friendly and organized. Would definitely recommend.

Mike is a true professional he was able to figure out what was wrong with my pc in a few hours and have it ready to pick up same day also when I got home he helped me flash the bios and clean up my computer with different software he also updated all my drivers for my cpu. connecting point computer center is the place to go with any issues 😃

I just purchased a new MacBook Air laptop from Connecting Point, and within a few hours after dropping off my old one, all of my files had been transferred to the new laptop, with updated Word and Virus protector as I requested. I have visited this company before -- always with great satisfaction thanks to FRED who works there. It is so much better going to a local store rather than a big box store. Fred has been instrumental and patient in listening to my many questions and helping to find answers for me. He has been so kind to me, and it is good to know that should I ever need assistance, I will not hesitate to contact Fred. He is truly a treasure for Connecting Point, and I value his expertise.

My computer is my business and I am self-employed as a tax preparer and my computer went down during the week leading up to Christmas. Needless to say panic ensued.

However I have used Connecting Point in the past and recommended it to many of my friends so I just had to give them a call.

My 7+ year old computer had a mechanical drive which they replaced with a new SSD drive (look it up) and I now have a new computer for the very low price of $450.00 which was parts and labor, all done in 4 days just before the holidays.

The service department was in contact with me through every move, checking with me about what route to go and the price of everything including labor. I couldn't recommend a better computer repair experience, there should be a 10 star rating for this store!!!

I called Apple to ask about a hard drive issue with an old MacBook Air and they made me an appointment to have it checked out at Connecting Point. The store's customer service was top-notch: knowledgeable, respectful, forthright, supportive, patient, and even extra-mile. I asked to have a new hard drive installed and, on their own initiative, they also replaced some worn key caps simply because they had some extras available. I'm completely satisfied with the work and the experience. Five stars.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for computer help. Everyone there is knowledgeable and willing to help. Had my computer repaired and it only took 2 days and at a fair price too. The technician explained everything to me and helped me make the best decision without pressuring me. This is the best place for anything computer related from buying to fixing. They also fixed my sisters iPhone under warranty because their an Apple Authorized Repair Center.

I've been doing business with Connecting Point Computer since I was 18 years old. They are a well established and locally owned computer service company. They always take the time to help me find what I'm looking for and don't brush the customer off like some corporate stores. When they don't have a part they are able to order it for you or point you in the right direction. They sell new, used, and refurbished systems. I highly recommend them. I do my own work but they are always ready to help if something is out of my league. They treat people fair and they are honest about their pricing. They've been in the computer business since the very beginning and in all honesty they are great at what they do.

Used this place in the past and it was great. But today, I went in to get a new charger as mine wasn't charging my laptop. However, I brought my laptop with me just to double check to make sure something wasn't wrong with the laptop itself. So, I asked the guy in the front to just throw it on the charger and if it lit up, I would buy one. The guy went in the back and he was gone for about 10 minutes. Once he was back, he said something was wrong with the laptop as it was not taking a charge and it stayed on 1% for 7 minutes. Now, I was confused because it's actually working with a different charger and skeptical because I never had a battery issue with the laptop. So I said, I will buy a charger because mine doesn't even turn the laptop on, but the guy was telling me its not your charger, its your laptop and you can leave it if you want and we can work on it. Long story short, I said no, and bought the charger. Once home, the laptop immediately took charge and I have been actually using it off the charger at 100% with good battery life. I am not writing this to leave a bad review, but I really didn't appreciate that. I didn't get the guys name but he had red shoes on. 5 stars because I dealt with the owner before and I know he works with integrity

Amazing customer service and great people to work with!

Fair prices and fast service. Called about an older Dell computer running Windows 7. Had a serious hard drive failure and I was unable to access anything. Brought them the computer on a Thursday. Less than a week later, they had recovered all the data and gave it to me on an external hard drive. These guys know what they're doing

Previous Macbook Pro issue was resolved quickly and efficiently, with education. Would do business again with them.

Walked in and they fixed my issue on the spot. I had forgotten the password for my google account and couldn't login to my chromebook. The guy there helped me reset it and taught me so much. Very thankful to have a place like this nearby.

Very satisfied with my computer purchase

I was referred to Connecting Point by Yorkville Battery when it was discovered that the problem with my laptop battery not charging was not the charger but the battery. I left my laptop for assessment and Jason was very professional and courteous in his assessment, solution and repair. I would highly recommend them for computer issues.

I recently returned home from vacation and found that my iMac was not working. I brought it into Connecting Point the next morning, who informed me that my hard drive had died. I dealt with John, who quickly diagnosed the problem, and ordered the new drive (from Apple) for me immediately. The computer was fixed within two days, earlier than promised. John worked to restore all of my data from a back-up HD (that I had found somewhat balky), and I was able to have my computer restored to pre-crash functioning within three days. Service at Connecting Point was fast and thorough. I would highly recommend their services, especially for those seeking to avoid a trip to the Apple store in Syracuse for repairs.

Came in because my phone was just rebooting on the Apple logo. The people there helped me recover the password on my accounts and replaced the phone. Very happy with how quickly and nice they were.

Purchased deck top mac in 2014, love it, I bring it in once a year to get serviced, they are quick and priced fairly. Friendly service and patience for the non computer generation.

Brought my phone here for service and they helped me out. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I was in and out within 30 minutes and they charged a fair rate. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my computer or phone issues!
