Barcelona Lakeside Bed and Breakfast

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt very welcomed and comfortable. The beautiful furnishings and the peaceful vibe was inviting.
The room we chose, had a great view of Lake Erie and it had a massive attached bathroom with a very large walk in shower.
The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The Inn was quiet and peaceful.
Even though our room was in the front of the house, near the main road that runs along the lake, the road noise was not too noticeable.
We enjoyed some delicious homemade breads and a very hearty breakfast.
The Barcelona Lakeside Bed and Breakfast, is located in a beautiful part of New York State. An area that we had not previously traveled, and we enjoyed it very much. The miles and miles of grapes and vineyards were amazing and the locally made wines were quite good.
I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful location and a stay at this charming and lovely bed and breakfast. Inn keepers Russ and Lori go above and beyond to accommodate their guests and make everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

We had the opportunity to stay here on their opening weekend. What a wonderful place. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and spotless. The location at the lake made for some lovely scenery. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. The hosts, Russ and Lori were gracious, helpful and attentive. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in the area.

Lori and Russ were the absolute best hosts. We went there to elope - couldn’t ask for a better place. Every detail was perfect! From 5 star breakfast, to our room, to our wedding ceremony.! Peaceful and relaxing - we enjoyed every minute! We will be back again! My husband and I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at Barcelona Lakeside Bed and Breakfast this weekend for a wedding in Ripley NY. The location was perfect and easy to navigate to.

We enjoyed an incredible charcuterie board on our first night on the porch overlooking a gorgeous view of the lake. The charcuterie spread was a delicious with the most amazing honey butter we have ever had. This set the bar high, but breakfast did not disappoint with apple pie pancakes and a sausage frittata.

The hosts were an absolute pleasure to talk to about any questions we had. They were very warm and welcoming. We also enjoyed speaking with other guests during breakfast. We truly enjoyed the homey experience.

Russ and Lori provide an amazing place for a getaway. This is our second trip here as we enjoyed it so much the first time (June 2022). This year was just as amazing. The rooms are cozy and quiet. The food is amazing! We even did the lunch/wine package and our lunches were just as superb as the breakfasts. We biked from the B&B as well, Russ and Lori were great making sure we knew which roads were best to use. They also packed our lunches in a bag that would be easily ttransported on the bike. The view from the B&B is great as well and watching the sunsets is one of my favorite parts.! Highly recommend and will go back for sure.

Both Lori and Russ provide a wonderful getaway with a fabulous place, hearty breakfasts, and a to die for charcuterie board put together by Lori that made a fabulous dinner for my husband and I on our first nights stay. We want to go back, and hope is more sooner than later!

Our stay at the bed & breakfast was truly memorable. From the warm welcome from Ross & Lori to the delightful meals, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. We HIGHLY recommend this B&B to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with outstanding service.

Probably the best vacation we've had in a long time. Russ and his wife were extremely accommodating to our vegetarian/vegan family each day. The lake view is unparalleled, and we could just walk across the street to get to the water, with an amazing view of the crashing surf. The rooms and beds were so comfortable as well. Wish there were more stars to give.

My husband and I did the Wine and Wheels package. Communication from the owners was amazing before we left. The directions given for the bike trip were great and several amazing wineries on the route. The lunch that they sent with us was great and even had a bag we could use to carry it in. The bed and breakfast was the perfect hole away from home. We loved being able to drink the sparkling wine around the campfire that night whole watching the sunset. Breakfast so amazing. Highly recommend this place for a girls wine strip or a couples trip.

We found the Barcelona Lakeside online while exploring places to visit on Lake Erie. What a great find!

The circa 1800s home is beautiful. The property is lovely with trees and other bushes that seem to frame the house. It was the perfect location for a "base" from which to explore the area. It is directly across from the lake and the Barcelona lighthouse.

We visited in October, and a cold, windy, rainy one at that. But this is the exact ambiance I was looking for.

The house was decorated inside and out with a huge array of seasonal beauty, and being near Halloween, a lot of great spooky animated objects. So much fun, right from the start, upon entering.

The owner was very personable and friendly. He is the type of person one can joke with. Very kind and efficient in all the b&b duties. We were not confined to our room, but could sit in the livingroom, and make coffee, or tea if we liked. Water and ice were also available. The coffee selection was great! When we returned from a day of exploration, a plate of still warm, Freshly baked cookies and coffee awaited us!

But the owner excelled in his cooking! The food was so delicious and filling -- great for the start of your day. The presentation was equally lovely. This man can cook!

My husband and I enjoyed this visit to Westfield, NY and surrounding area very much. The Barcelona Lakeside held no small part in that feeling. I have a feeling we will return to this b&b and Lake Erie coastal area.

Rooms were very clean. The breakfasts were very good and well presented. Russ & Lori are fantastic hosts. Beautiful view of Lake Erie with a fire in the evening.

Lori and Russ helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. Each breakfast that Russ made was unique and amazing. Lori made sure everything was in order and beautiful. The rooms are so beautiful with great scenery. Our bouquet flowers were fresh and the perfect color for our day. The cake was one of the best we've ever had. They treat you like family and make you feel so relaxed. Looking forward to visit again in the future.

My wife and I got married here, and we had a great experience! Russ and Lori did a great job with everything! The Inn was beautiful, clean and very well appointed. Many great spots for pictures, especially outside with the vineyard in back, and water in front. Beaches are walking distance. We loved our room and especially the cute nautical theme that complemented the view of the water. Morning coffee and breakfast was great. The cake that came with our wedding package was delicious, and the flowers were beautiful; both exactly what we were hoping for. Overall very pleased and looking forward to coming back for anniversaries!

Barcelona Lakeside B&B was the perfect place to elope. The elopement packages are perfect and Lori and Russ take care of everything so all you have to think about the day of your wedding in getting married. The house is beautiful, right across the street from Lake Erie. We had a rainy day and the house was cozy with a fire lit in the fireplace and the smells of dinner coming from the kitchen. Our room, the Tupper Suite, was clean and light overlooking the lake. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to sneak away for an intimate and enjoyable experience.

We had such an amazing experience with Lori and Russ at the B&B. Russ officiated our ceremony and Lori helped coordinate us and picked flowers out of her garden when our cake topper didn't turn out as planned. They served excellent meals and treated us better than family, they are truly charming and amazing people! We hope to make this trip a regular occurrence. The grounds are beautiful with the landscaping and archway, a vineyard in the back and a lighthouse and beach across the street. We had it all! Stunning views and comfortable rooms. I wanted to stay forever!

Barcelona Lakeside Bed and Breakfast was amazing. The owners were so accommodating and the room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and tasteful. The bathroom was to die for, with a massive shower system, multiple jets, and a river rock floor. The best part was getting the inside scoop from the owner (via other guests) about a local maple syrup farm! We found the last gallon of maple syrup and will enjoy sharing it with our family for months to come. 100% would recommend and book again.

My husband and I eloped at Barcelona Lakeside B&B and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Lori & Russ were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make our day special. The entire inn was well kept. We stayed in the Tupper Room which was spacious, clean, and had a wonderful view of the lake. We also used the hot tub which was a nice relaxing end to a busy weekend! Breakfasts were delicious. I would highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to go back!

Russ is so completely accommodating! We stayed in the LaDue room with a view of the harbor and lake. The room was clean, quiet, and updated, but with furnishings that gave a nod to the history of the place... one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Fresh towels daily. Breakfast was amazing both mornings... truly special! Russ is a talent in the kitchen, for sure, and super-informative regarding the house, as well as surrounding restaurants and wineries nearby. Did not disappoint, and we will definitely be back :)

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our 2 year anniversary, and it was AMAZING! We included the anniversary package with our two night stay. We walked into our room and a beautiful bouquet of roses and champagne were awaiting us. The room was clean and modern, yet it still had the character and charm of the 200 year old house. Russ and Lori are WONDERFUL hosts. I have a severe dairy allergy, and they never skipped a beat in serving me! Russ ensured that all of my food was dairy free and that I was still enjoying what everyone else was having. He made me vegan pumpkin pie pancakes (which were my absolute favorite) and a dairy-free egg frittata with crispy potatoes. He even kindly made vegan and gluten free pumpkin bread as a snack, which was fantastic.

The attention to detail at this place is phenomenal, and I can guarantee that if you book here, you will return again! I know that my boyfriend and I are already making plans to book in the summer when we can go on hikes around Chautauqua, and I am also planning to take my mother for Mother's Day. What an absolute beautiful place to go for much needed relaxation! We were very happy with the room and surroundings, but then it was time for breakfast......oh my goodness!! We can't wait to return, hopefully next spring. We need to try that french toast we heard so much about.
