Saint Kateri National Shrine and Historic Site

This was a most magical place, and a great escape from the rigors of Interstate 90 driving. We were the only people there, truly loved it, and believe more people would truly enjoy this American Gem.

A simple beautiful place for a pilgrimage. You can also drive to the spot where she was baptized. Recommend ! Also check out Our Lady of Martyrs Shrine in the area as well!

We loved visiting St.Kateri's Shrine! The whole site is very peaceful and calming.The church is beautiful and the museum is definitely worth your time. The Shrine is a beautiful tribute.

We try and visit Catholic shrines when we travel. Just minutes off I90 St Kateri was easy to find. We walked the property, enjoyed the gift shop, and even attended the 430pm Saturday mass. The mass was held outdoors under a shelter. So comforting and inspiring!
Highly recommend!

Wonderful, peaceful, prayerful place to go for a few moments or hours to spend time with one of my favorite saints and NY native. It's nice to have such a spot in one's own backyard. Also be sure to visit the North American Martyrs Shrine just down the road in Auriesville--another great Catholic place for prayer and reflection.

We were privileged to visit on St. Kateri's feast day and were able to attend a beautiful Mass. The grounds are lovely. Much to see here and do, particularly if you are of the Catholic faith! St. Kateri, pray for us!

Nice place to go and learn some of the local native American history. Walk the trails, think about things. Also nice outdoor church service in the summer. Sometimes the services are not as traditional as other Catholic services. Sometimes they include an indian pow wow drum and native Americans dressed in traditional indian clothing. Once a year there is a powwow

What an amazing tribute to the first Native American Saint. Amazing collection of artifacts as well. Don't miss the Spring....you can drive there if you don't want to hike it.

Beautiful rustic shrine in the woods. It's also got a small chapel, a gift shop and museum and a station of the cross walk. Definitely a great way to spend an hour or so.

What a beautiful place that I stumbled into quite accidentally! The women in the gift shop are so nice and I made new friends with them.

Attended a native american festival here and had an excellent time participating in some native american dances.

This is the most important shrine. It is always to be respected. Since this is a sacred site. This is a blessed place.
