Green Acres Drive-In

Our group went for a ride from the Lake George area to Dolgevile with a planned stop for lunch at Green Acres. This was our first visit to this eatery. It is located just outside of town and is a modest sized building serving to go and sit down meals and ice cream. The eleven of us sat together and there was still plenty of room for others.
The menu ( see photos) provided lots of tasty options at reasonable prices. The group sampled a range of items off the menu and we were all pleased with the quality and portion size of the food. The staff was friendly and provided good service.
We all agreed that we would be back in the fall when the leaves change colors.

I recently visited Green Acres the food was excellent. I had a wrap and raspberry milkshake. The service was excellent as well.

We’d stopped in for lunch, which was reasonably priced and delicious. Of course we had to have ice cream as well, we decided to try the blueberry twist and were not disappointed! It was amazing and a huge serving for medium cone. For sweet potato fries, onion petals, two burgers and two medium cones it was less than $30.

Very Nice Roadside Country Restaurant. Reasonable Fair Prices, Good Food, Big Portions, Hot Strong Coffee, Ice Cold Soad, Yes Ice-cream! No Dress Code, Lay Back Vibe. If you are looking for the Beach Bar Seen or High End Restaurant, this is not the place. This is a kid friendly - Family Place. Well Worth the Travel Time from the Mohawk Valley. I just hope the above never changes. So many places are increasing their prices and lowering their portion sizes along with switching in low-end food. Please Keep Green Acres what it is Now. One of a Kind.

Went opening day 2024; food was delicious!

Always good food. Great service. Clean facility. They have such a selection that anyone should be able to find something on their menu. Prices are reasonable too. Always enjoying there.

Oh my goodness where do I begin! My family was camping nearby and we drove by many times so finally decided to stop in for lunch. What a great decision! The prices were very good for the huge quantity, and quality, of the food we got. The service was very friendly and they even had GLUTEN FREE options which was a very welcome surprise! Even though it is a bit of a drive my kids want to make this a regular habit for the summer!

I'm from the area so maybe you can consider me a bit biased but my wife is not and she also feels that this place is a nice little gem of the area.

Small town charm. Clean as a whistle. Excellent staff. Good food. If you're in the area during the summer months/early fall when this place is open, stop in for a good meal and friendly environment.

Food has all the good basics. Seasonal place that has been super involved in the community for years. Food is quick to be ready. The ice cream is the main reason why people come here! Lots of yummy sundae options.

Fresh fish on Fridays is what I go here for ! Outdoor or indoor seating,overall nice experience! Ride motorcycles with friends to eat here.

We like to go here and have been many times. The food is very good.

Great food, great prices, and super nice and prompt service. It's an institution and well worth the trip. Try a Mexican burger, onion petals, or chicken basket. There are no bad choices. Look for the flavor specials in the soft serve.

They have some of the best ice cream around and they are so reasonable priced. Their ice cream is so creamy and has awesome flavor. They always have a different flavor of the week. They also have a lactose option for people that can't have regular ice cream.
