Had an issue with a dishonest flooring store in Hackettstown and Nancy came to my rescue. I ordered 402 sq. ft. from Hackettstown flooring store, but my order ended up delayed indefinitely (and H'town Flooring tried NOT to give me a refund) Nancy at Dug's Rugs answered my call and presented me with hardwood options via text within 1/2 hour. Three hours later, I purchased a beautiful floor. Nancy and Doug were efficient and personable. Dugs Rugs prices are competitive and they are HONEST! I would highly recommend you try them. AND.... if you find anything you like that they don't carry, Nancy can get it for you at a great price. I Love Love Love them!!!!!!

What a great place to buy carpeting! We had carpet installed in our whole upstairs by Dug’s. They were very professional from beginning to end. Very pleasant couple to do business with. You can count on them to do what they say. We are very happy with our new carpet, the installation and and the overall experience we had doing business with Dug’s.

Room transitions were going to be a challenge due to existing sub-floor, but zero effort was made to make them fluid. Rather than using an extended transition and building a little slope/ramp the installers created dangerous trip hazards by leaving them as distinguished lips.

Trim work installed in front of brick fireplace is the most amateur work I have ever seen. Approximate 10' of trim on the face of the fireplace...Most would just use one length. Instead they installed a 4 1/2' piece - a 1' piece - and another 4 1/2' piece. It looks completely ridiculous and like they used scraps to complete the job.

I would expect horrible quality if using leftover materials installed by a rookie handyman, but to spend $8,000+ and be left with this mess is unacceptable.

Despite several calls, there has been zero effort made to resolve this and we've been told by the owner himself there is nothing that can make it better. We have had it reviewed by other installers who have offered a simple fix, so either the owner is inadequate or does not care.

UPDATE - We had an appointment on Friday to have one of their installers come out and fix it at 1pm.

At 11am the installer called for directions.

At 12pm he called back to say he wasn't coming.

Go to Orange Floors in Ledgewood instead. You get what you pay for and Marybeth at Orange Floors is top shelf.

Nancy Taylor is beyond the rudest employee I have ever met. She has terrible customer service and does not even get tour product when you need it blaming everything on production or other businesses. She is poor representation of this company and I would not use them to spare you from this rude woman
