Shahrukh Mustafa, MD

Dr. Mustafa has been my doctor for over a year now. He’s very thorough. He answers any questions I may have. If I seem confused on something, like I did with my last visit, he’ll pull up pictures online to make it less confusing. All in all, best care I’ve received since I moved to New York 12 years ago. I recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

The office messed up and gave us a appointment with him instead of the provider I asked for ( I prefer a DO). He handled the mix up with grace and I appreciated it. He still checked my daughter out and gave a recommendation and said we could reschedule with the DO we thought we were scheduled with. I would absolutely recommend him to someone who likes to see a MD.

I met with Dr. Mustafa as a new patient. He was thorough with my history. I was there for new issue and he took the time to try to determine all the possibilities that could be taking place. Later that afternoon, he called me with more information, in addition to what we discussed, during the morning office visit. I appreciated the time he took to talk with me.

I had just been released from the hospital 10 hours before my appointment. I was seeing dr. Mustafa as a fill in for my primary. Let me just say I didn't even notice I was seeing a different doc cause he was so nice & caring. I had a half of notebook page of issues going on & he made sure to attend to all of them. He was very calming & thorough. In all reality I couldn't have asked for a better appointment or nurse that day. I mean this staff was on it when taking care of me which is a great feeling. You dont find that at alot doctor offices anymore.

Dr. Mustafa is by far the best primary I have had! He is caring and listens to any problems and needs. He helped me form a plan to improve my health that I feel confident in. 11/10 recommend!

Our family doctor of 25 years retired 2 years ago. I was so apprehensive about starting fresh with a new doctor, especially for my youngest child (was 11 at the time). Dr. Mustafa made all that apprehension disappear on our very first visit, which was pre pandemic. Since the pandemic, we have had to utilize 2 virtual visits on separate occasions. I can’t tell you how much I respect this doctor! He LISTENS! He CARES!! I hope and pray that he will stay in our area for the next 25 years! You absolutely can not go wrong if you choose Dr. Mustafa as your primary care provider. I wish I could give him an infinite number of stars - 5 isn’t enough!

He was fabulous for my whole family. Very thorough. Great personality. My kids lived him and so did I. I will definitely be keeping him as my primary care doctor.

Dr. Mustafa is a very GOOD doctor! He is very thorough and explains everything so you can understand what’s going on. Dr. Mustafa is also very caring he is very quick with referrals and follow up. If you are looking for an amazing Doctor you’ve found one in Dr. Mustafa!

Dr Mustafa’s bedside manner is kind, friendly and professional. He sort of convinced me to start taking statins as my cholesterol is 316 but after filling the rx and reading the possible side effects I decided against taking them. In any event I did appreciate his medical advise and suggestions.

Dr Mustafa listens and cares about your input as a patient. He also want to be in touch with other specialists for your complete care. I have only been seeing him for a short time but am very happy.
