This place is fantastic! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They're so l nice and friendly that even when my grandson got a bit carried away and had a little accident, which could have been very costly, they understood and weren't too upset. Plenty to select from, but if they don't have it, they'll get it for you quickly. Traxxas authorized dealer, which is why I visited the store. It only took a couple of days to get what I wanted and when I got there I was given plenty of instruction and information. When I want something else for my R/C I'll definitely give them the business because I prefer to spend locally when possible. Thanx 👍 😊 💯

{ March 2023}Found this place by (happy) accident. Pulled in the parking lot and our 5 year old's eyes lit up when he read the name. He's obsessed with trains, both real and model. The catch is, many of the shops we have visited don't take young children seriously as model railroaders. Not so here. He was able to look around, check out their selection of O-scale and HO-scale steam engines, and track accessories. We found a couple of buildings and a nice old Lionel bumper for his layout. Reasonable prices and a very nice selection in a small shop. We look forward to coming back soon.

Made it back to this shop, nearly a year after our first visit. So glad that we did. When we arrived, the woman in the shop was very apologetic that she could not answer questions, as she was watching the shop while the owner was out. He soon returned, however, and we have a lovely time here. They are both understanding that our now-6 year old loves the trains, understands a good deal more about them than most children his age, and they both spoke to him, instead of around him, when he asked a question or wanted to tell them about his trains. It's amazing how few adults will do that. And they were very helpful in our quest to add a little to his model train collection. We left with three used locomotives, which have already been running nicely on his layout, some other rolling stock, and a few useful accessories.

Been to this location several times. Ownership is very helpful, and knowledgeable with the products they sell. Can't believe the few negative reviews. You would think the local public would appreciate having a local Hobby Store. It's the last one in Saratoga County.

Extremely helpful and polite. I wasn't paying attention to the time and was actually there 2 hours before they opened. All I needed was very inexpensive turnbuckles and they opened up just to take care of me. I'd give 10 stars if I could

So far so good. Their hours are the most accommodating for the Christmas holiday and the extended hours help that I may be able to go after work. All the other places are closed on my days off. Willing to adjust prices to match online prices too, which is really nice so I can skip the shipping and handling and buy local, which when local shops appreciate local customers with fair prices that's solid and rare. I've worked in retail for a very long time now. You can expect it here!

I like the place. The owners are very nice and helpful. They stand behind their product. They may not have every rc model in stock but are more then willing to go out of the way for you. I brought a defective battery back to them and they replaced it with a handshake and a smile.thats the kind of service that seems to be hard to find these days

Small little shop, but good selection. wish they still carried planes, but I understand why they can't. Last I checked they're a Traxxas partner, buying instore is a bit cheaper than prices found online, assuming they have what you want it in stock.

Just had our pool closed by Jim, and I just have to say WOW. Stellar service all the way around.

Got a recommendation to use these guys from a good friend midway through the summer, and they surpassed all expectations.

The owner (also named Jim) and company are super knowledgeable. They could have taken my money easily several times over as I am just learning about my new pool, but they didn't.

Family owned, very helpful. Went in there last week for the for first time and purchased a Traxxas bandit and returned this week and purchased a Traxxas rustler. I was sceptical about going the first time because of the few bad reviews but please disregard them. It was a pleasure from the minute I walked in and left very happy. I never leave reviews but felt it necessary this time to set the record straight.

Very nice people. Bought lots of Traxxas rc's trucks and drones from them. Always taken care of me and always a good price.. they beat the sgf hobby shop by far.. keep up the good work.. family owned business. Jim's wife knows me when I walk in the door.. now that's customer service. Good people.

This place is a nice small hobby shop , it has an ok selection of HO scale trains , but if you collect military aircraft or Lionel trains (O scale) this is the place for you , the small inconvenience was it was in the middle of no were but other wise 10/10

Small family owned hobby shop with decent selection. The shop itself is inviting and has a cool model train display next to the register.
