Viva Margarita

I was on the hunt for the best Mexican restaurant and I finally found it! Their steak tacos are super flavorful. I really enjoyed the chips and dip, as well as the steak chimichangadas. Can’t wait to come back and have that again haha!

Tried this restaurant last night and I was impressed! The food was delicious. I had the barbacoa street tacos the meat was delicious. The rice and beans was delicious. The drinks were good. The music was good. A great vibe and I will be back to try some more of my faves. We sat at the bar and it was a good experience.

Fantastic Mexican. Good prices. Nice happy hour specials. Service is great and it has a very nice ambience.

The food was delicious, Jose and Fernando made sure everything was perfect. My mango margarita with Tajin and the Molcajete were so good. I will definitely come back. Besides the decoration of the place is really impressive.

The molcajete was phenomenal and well portioned. The margaritas were tasty and strong and only ran $5 all night Mondays and until 7pm on weekdays. Service was pleasant and attentive. We will be back!

I’ve gone to the Viva Margarita in Edgewater. The food and drinks were decent so decided to try the one in Hackensack with a few friends. We had an absolutely amazing time and a wonderful server. I had a house margarita, which was good the Carnitas enchiladas we’re good but at first, we received them cold, we told our waiter, and she instantly got it fixed. Tableside guac was great and our server asked us if we were OK with everything such as the garlic, cilantro jalapeño, which we really appreciated since I have a sensitivity to garlic. I believe our servers name was Andre or Andrea she mentioned she was new, but was very knowledgeable on the menu and gave us great recommendations truly a sweet girl. Next time we come we definitely want her again she made the experience. Completely forgot to take more photos of our food but genuinely enjoyed our time.

When I found out this Mexican restaurant was near my new place, I was excited to try it. There were 2 locations by my old place, Edgewater and Cliffside Park. So happy about this place. The food is amazing. We had carne asada chimichangada and enchilada and mojitos as lunch specials. They were very delicious and the drink was great! The only thing about this place is the prices cost more than other Mexican restaurants I've been to but the quality and taste makes up for the price. Just come at happy hour or lunch time to have discounted food and drinks!

Best happy hour around! Love the margaritas! Service and atmosphere was amazing also. Highly recommend. Def will be back

Beautiful colorful location, you instantly fall in love with the welcoming vibe of the location.. Yippee a real Mexican Restaurant in Hackensack! So happy they opened! The food was very good and the service was outstanding. Ricardo was very attentive and knowledgeable of the beverage and food choices. There are 3 other locations in Wallington, Cliffside Park and Edgewater.

Food was amazing, music is jumping ☺. The QUESABIRRIA-GOAT was fire!!!!! As you can see from the picture lol that was not beef, we wanted to try it with the goat meat. Don't knock it until you try it. Also the MIXED FAJITAS was bomb!!! We will be back 💜

Had a wonderful time here..! The food was pretty good and the Cocktails were exceptional. Staff were friendly and the service was pretty good as well.

Welcoming, friendly atmosphere -fun energy! The Happy Hour menu and bar service is on point.

We are doing a kitchen remodel and needed a quick bite for lunch. My first time ordering the Street Tacos with Carne Asada with rice and beans (6 orders) for the workers and the fajita quesadilla for my husband and myself. The food is delicious and the delivery came with smart packing and on time. We can't wait to try more dishes during this reno. Love it!

Always an excellent experience when we go to Viva Margarita, no matter which location. We were patrons of their original, very small restaurant on Lawton in Cliffside and its great to see how much they've grown and how successful and fruitful the business has become for them. Ownership and management are super nice guys.

The street tacos and the tostadas are my go-to, along with the frozen passion fruit margaritas. Their comp salsa and chips and the tableside guac are soo tasty! Wrap your meal up with an order of their warm churros or that banana chocolate chimichanga or something like that - heavenly! When we can't make it in person, we order take out or uber eats.

I've used them for catering as well and it doesn't disappoint and I love having their taco truck come out for tacos, quesadillas and margaritas!

Coame with husband and 2 young kids for a vegetarian dinner. Opted for outdoor seating and got the whole patio to ourselves which was great for the kids.

Staff was exceptional, especially SEBASTION (A++), who was kind and patient, checked on us frequently and did a whole thing for my 5 year olds birthday which she loved (including wearing a Mexican birthday hat).

Sizeable portions and went home full. Got tofu burrito, mixed veg enchilada (red pepper, green pepper, green and yellow squash inside) with green sauce, pescado enchilada with red sauce and tofu taco. All except burrito came with a side of rice and beans (rice was delish).

Great experience and food! Definitely recommend.

My wife and I have been coming here since it opened and we have always had a great experience - the service is great as well as the food, but most importantly my wife loves the atmosphere - if you are near or around the restaurant we both highly recommend Viva Margarita to all

Our first time, party of 4, experiencing Viva Margarita. The atmosphere has a very upbeat feel with the variety of colors and traditional flair. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. Ricardo was very attentive and knowledgeable of the beverage and food choices. Another great addition to the many restaurant choices in the Sac!

such good food and such good wait staff. we got the black margaritas & the Pina colada and they were strong in the best of ways. oh and the tofu is so well seasoned!

if you are goth (like me) and wanna drink a black drink get the margarita. no questions.

The restaurant is fun and colorful, the wait staff is terrific, and the food is absolutely amazing legitimate Mexican. The goat birria tacos made me nothing short of happy, there's no other way to put it. And my husband lived his enchiladas with habanero hot sauce.

The place is beautifully decorated. The food was great. The drinks were great. I went early afternoon so I can speak about how the ambiance is at night but I could infere that it is way better than in the afternoon.
