We had a great stay for the last day of the winter season at the lodge. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are updated and breakfast was homemade and super tasty. Many thanks to Kerry and Laurie for the hospitality.

Location is perfect for the High Peaks area and surrounding.

Keenr Valley Lodge was a wonderful destination in the High Peaks of the Adirondacks. Clean, comfortable rooms, cozy atmosphere in front of the huge fire after a winter hike. Breakfast well presented and delicious with lots of variety. The staff were warmly welcoming and provided good knowledge of the area. A super place to stay.

Keene Valley Lodge is a stellar place to stay! The rooms are meticulously decorated and supremely comfortable - my little suite had a sun-filled side porch and a friendly deer that nibbled at grasses while I read my book! The breakfasts are wonderful and the hosts interesting and thoughtful. Can't say enough how much I enjoyed my stay ;-)

Just spent 3 nights and it was a delight. The lodge is incredibly homey and comfortable with very modern amenities. Our room was spacious and bright but had great blackout blinds. There are modern ceiling fans in each room. All the bathrooms are virtually new with roomy new tile showers. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. There’s a lot of common space furnished in vintage and antique pieces but also comfortable. They even had a fire going on the first cool night of September. My favorite room was the map room which has a large table and a small library of books with hiking, trail guides and Adirondack history volumes. There’s a nice guest kitchen with fridge sink microwave and dishwasher and stocked kuerig. Breakfast is included and was delicious and hearty with a great selection of hot and cold plus fresh fruit and muffins. This was our first stay and we’ll be back. I highly recommend this gem.

This lodge is well laid out inside and the decor is perfect. The rooms are clean, updated, and well thought out. Best of all, the lodge manager, Carrie was amazing! She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and made a delicious breakfast. She was very accommodating, thoughtful, and makes the best cheesy eggs!

Perfect management!

Thank you for a wonderful experience,
Jason

Easily the best bed & breakfast experience I’ve ever had.

The common areas are so cozy and clean. There’s an excellent book collection, an incredible fireplace, a breakfast area and fully stocked kitchen.

The whole lodge is such a peaceful and quiet space. Our rooms were decadent, with tasteful furniture, comforters and amenities.

We came up to ski for the weekend and stayed here on a whim, but after seeing the place for ourselves and experiencing the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, we are already planning our next trip back. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We have stayed here the past two summers and it will become a yearly trip. The renovations the owners made to the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful. George and Carrie have made us wonderfully balanced breakfasts every morning with freshly baked muffins, eggs, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, and more. The firepit by the water is also wonderful and their location gives very close access to hiking trials of all varying ability levels in the high peaks. Couldn't be more happy with both of our stays! Already thinking of booking with friends next year!

Just stayed here for a few nights and was a great apot! Beautiful antique filled house. Rooms were clean and bright. Comfy beds and pillows. Updated bathrooms. They have a kitchen with a fridge you can use for leftovers and things. Lots of parking! They have a great little spot out back near the river as well to relax. Highly recommend!

Very good stay - an older building, with charms and some minor shortcomings that go with the territory. We were in the Beede Suite, which has a curious entrance into the main part of the lodge, as well as a separate entrance from the outside. One problem for a light sleeper (me, not my partner): I was awoken one night by voices of people arriving late downstairs, since the floor is lightly sound-insulated. But excellent mattress (we both thought) and king size bed (wow) meant I got back to sleep quickly.

It was great to have George on hand in the morning - from whom we got very good suggestions and information on trails nearby (we climbed Hopkins, as a loop on foot from the lodge, and the next day Jay Mountain - both moderate, not "easy" hikes). Hearty buffet breakfasts, good hot water, pleasant front living rooms, convenient communal kitchen (although our suite also had partial kitchen), and helpful assistance for a couple of requests we had. Recommend.

The lodge is an absolutely delightful B&B in Keene Valley. We stayed in a room on the back of the building, facing the Ausable River. The room was quiet, cozy, and comfortable - with a full kitchen for preparing meals. The innkeepers were incredibly friendly and made our stay in Keene Valley quite relaxing.

Breakfasts were perfect - especially the fresh-baked blueberry muffins. Hiking opportunities were literally minutes away walking from the lodge. If we visit Keene Valley, we would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay! Furnished with antiques surrounding an awesome stone fireplace. The guest room was refurbished and the bed was very comfortable. The blueberry muffins were fantastic!

Dear friends and I recently planned a get together in Keene Valley and were fortunate enough to discover the Keene Valley Lodge. We were delighted with the overall ambiance and every room was reminiscent of "Grandma's house". George, Laurie, and Jenny were professional and friendly and welcomed us with knowledge of the area and a great breakfast. Not to be missed is the fire pit at the river. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit this beautiful area.

This is now my must-stay go-to place when hiking high peaks in the area. Exceptionally friendly owners, great food, plenty of tea at all hours, lots of comfortable seating options indoors and out on the porch, comfortable beds, and just the perfect chill vibe for a getaway weekend. Honestly, this place was so great, I think if it were booked out I'd just make my plans for a different weekend. To give my love of the place just a bit more authenticity, I'll find just a singular thing to nit-pick: there's a lot of traffic on the main road, so sitting on the porch is not as serene as I'd like. Otherwise, this place is aces.

We stay at the Lodge following our yearly 6 days canoe-camping trip and we love it. Nothing like a fantastic breakfast and kind hosts who don't mind a stinky family of four. Also if a guest ever needs an unfrequented week-end hike in the region George and his wife are so knowledgeable, it's a true pleasure!

It was an amazing room and it was a good price for a weekend stay. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee was excellent. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt. I just wish I could have had some coffee ready in the morning I hiked the range trail but that's hard to come by when you're out the door at 5 am.

Four of us friends stayed at the lodge for two nights. It is in a charming old house, comfortable and relaxed. We had a great time there. The owners are knowledgeable of the local hikes and went out out their way to attend our needs. Highly recommended!

Keene valley Lodge is an adorable bed and breakfast style lodge. The keeper is very friendly and the breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are clean and the quaint. The common area has plenty of seating so many groups can hang out independently.

If you are looking for the perfect Bed and Breakfast close to Santa's Workshop; this is the place. Very cozy spot to get away. Owners are welcoming and friendly. We drove from Buffalo NY and were lucky to find a room.
