BAR ONE

We stopped here with friends after a busy day for a meal together. This is a cozy restaurant located off the town center serving locals and visitors delicious drinks and food. Our server was very friendly and patient and thoroughly explained the precautions the kitchen staff took to modify dishes for guests with allergies. I was told they have a designated fryer for gluten-free fries, and I did not experience any discomfort after eating. Their cocktails are visually appealing and tasty. The food is served hot and has plenty of flavor. We all enjoyed our meal and I would absolutely be back when visiting friends again.

This is the first time I've done a review mid eating but man oh man! After waiting almost 2hrs I can see why! My old fashioneds are perfect my burger is unreal. The smells the food the atmosphere!

Really great experience! Really enjoyed my chicken sandwich. Family got the burger and fish tacos, also delicious. The nachos were a tasty app and the drink I had was delicious as well! Definitely will return.

Great food! Kind of down to earth hipster feel with original menu, the mac and cheese is to die for....and I'm not a mac and cheese person. Hawt chocolate cocktail was super refreshing, it's the kind of place I can take my family or my friends to.

Great selection of local draught beer, and the menu was super varied with what looked to be seasonal offerings. I got an antipasto that featured local cheeses and it was exceptional.

Best date night spot. My husband and I used to come every Friday when we lived in Milford. There is sometimes a wait, but we just grab a drink. The cocktails are perfection, love the sour empress! I currently crave their duck poutine and the bourbon dessert cinnamon roll amazingness...with ice cream. Love love love Bar One!

The food was very good.
Had several "bad for you apps" house chips, wings, and pretzel. All really good. "If you are going to be bad it needs to be good".
We had several well crafted cocktails and a great burger with the truffle fries.
Service was attentive and friendly. The place was a little noisy and crowded but I certainly would go back.

Surprising gem in the restaurant crowd. Milford has a very good array of food choices, and you need something that's a cut above the norm to stake a claim there. Starting with the best Manhattan I've had in years, and a pretzel that was chewy, buttery and flavorful, unique nachos that allowed the individual flavors to show off, and decent homemade chips, we're off to an above average start. My friend got the chicken tenders, an obscene portion, tender and very flavorful. Her husband had the smash burger, which I wouldn't recommend if you prefer medium rare to rare beef. The steak sandwich was flavorful, but a little tough. Thinner slices would help, plus cooking it a little less.
Drink and beer selections were terrific. Not your average cast of IPAs. We'll be back.

The service was great. The food was amazing. Candied bacon on a burger was fantastic. Their fries will keep you coming back. Kudos to Bar One. Quite the impressive flex on a bar and dining experience. Shout out to Cam. You're doing great!

One of the best places to eat around! Service is always super fast and friendly. The food is great, very creative dishes and always fresh. The Bar One Fries are to die for! The cocktails are so different and fun (and made pretty strong haha). I wish the place was a bit larger, they are doing such good business and sometimes it can be a bit crowded if you go during a busy time.

The higher quality food, ingredients, beer, and menu offerings are only outdone by the incredibly good service offered by loyal and attentive servers and bartenders here, without fail. If you’re looking for a completely “correct” food experience outside of a city, this place is consistently on point. Brussels sprouts are perfection, greens are always fresh, excellent vegan options, and they have delicious sours on tap!

Wonderful food with a great selection, and fantastic craft cocktails. Had the falafel burger with their homemade chips. My husband the Thai duck wrap with Bar One fries. Both were excellent, and the service was great too. Only down side is that the place is small with a limited number of seats, so the wait can be long on a busy Saturday evening.

I came from out of state on a hiking trip and found this gem on my travels. Nothing in the menu disappoints (highly suggest getting the duck poutine). The staff works cohesively making sure you have everything you need. Cocktail menu is absolutely amazing, as is how they prep the drinks. Staff, presentation, food and decor are 10/10. Now i have to find a place like this back home!

I’ve been going to this place since they opened. If you’re looking for interesting menu options and fantastic food this is definitely the place for you. The Smoke Burger is life changing. I’ve ordered it to go and when I get home 25 minutes after pickup it still tastes perfect and always cooked medium as asked. Buffalo cauliflower is possibly the best appetizer on the menu. So good.
