I used KW Salon for my wedding hair and make up and was very pleased with everything. We chose to get our hair and makeup done at the salon which was so nice, and Katie surprised us with a mimosa bar which was a huge hit with all the bridesmaids. Everyone was so pleased with how their hair and makeup looked, even my sister who never lets anyone do her makeup changed her mind last minute after seeing what the results were on all the other bridesmaids. Everyone was so kind and professional and made our morning extra special. Would highly recommend using KW salon on your wedding day.

Katie is a Glam Queen.
Katie was a godsend. Everything about our wedding plans was derailed this year but Katie was reliable, flexible and professional. I cannot do makeup or hair so I knew I needed her regardless of what my wedding looked like. When we turned our big wedding into an elopement, Katie was understanding and helpful. She showed up on time, took tons of safety precautions, and even though glitz and glam is her thing, she made me up in the natural way I wanted.

Since our wedding, I've seen Katie for a general cut and color as well and she was just as wonderful for everyday hair care as she was for the wedding.

Sasha is the best! I’ve been seeing her for my haircuts for years, and she always does a wonderful job. Recently I trusted Sasha with my bridal hair style and she did not disappoint. She perfectly created the look I wanted and it held up through rain, humidity, and all the photos. Thank you, Sasha, for making me feel beautiful every time I’m in your chair, especially on my wedding day!

I had such an amazing experience with Katie at KW Salon. She was warm, accommodating, and did an amazing job glamming me up with hair styling and full makeup for a formal family portrait photo shoot. She asked details about my dress and the look I hoped to achieve and with that gave me the picture perfect look. She even helped me pick out my accessories out of the options I brought, and made sure I felt like a million bucks before I walked out of her salon. The pictures came out gorgeous and no doubt it was because of how confident and beautiful I felt. I highly recommend KW salon!

KW Salon is incredibly clean and inviting. The atmosphere is very chill, nicely lit, and comfortably furnished. The interior design is modern and minimalistic, as Katie has a great eye for style and a fantastic design aesthetic.

Katie is professional, personable, courteous, and creative. She is exceptionally talented and always has a great attitude. She constantly goes above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be. A simple men’s haircut, wash, and style is very affordable. Katie is by far one of the best hair stylists in the area. I had the best experience. I am lucky enough to be a client of the incredibly talented owner, Katie! Her vibe is contagious, and she has an amazing team of talented professional and fun artists! The team is so focused on continuing education, and all have training in major cities such as LA, and NYC. They are bringing modern techniques and services to NH. The salon is conveniently located, and there is an abundance of parking. The salon itself is incredibly decorated with taste and class and is SO CLEAN! All guidelines in relation to COVID-19 were seamlessly followed, and I felt 100% comfortable my entire appointment. KW Salon is a place that you will want to go everyday! The most wonderful hair salon on the Seacoast! Katie and Chloe are incredible and do what they do best every time you're in their chairs. As a bonus, the salon itself is so cute and comforting.

I was referred to Katie by my florist. She had given out a couple names by instagrams, and Katie was the first person to look up. Needless to say after scrolling though just a few pictures I was in love with the work she creates! I kept scrolling more.. there it was.. the photo that instantly caught my eye, a picture of a mermaid braid like I’ve never seen before. Instantly I knew Katie was the one I had to go with. I met Katie and it was like seeing a friend I haven’t seen in years. She makes you feel right at home, and so comfortable with everything she does. From hair, to makeup. Katie makes sure she asks all the styles, looks, types of style makeup, colors, etc you’re looking for, pictures of inspirations you have and makes (pure) magic work.
I have never, ever been more happy and more trusting in someone I have just met then Katie. She rocked everything she did and did it with pure passion. I’ve told lots of friends and family about her, and I can’t wait to recommend more. I will be going back to her if I need anything professional again! HOW AMAZING IS THAT BRAID?

Katie is an incredibly skilled and talented hair “artist”! I get many complements on the the hair extensions that she put in for me. I have been incredibly happy with them- they were life changing!!! Katie listens carefully to what you want, is honest, and if you ask for her opinion she’ll offer ideas. She obviously loves what she does (she was as excited as I was to put my extensions in!). Plus her new salon is beautiful, fun, and glam!

Stylist Ashley did an amazing job doing our hair/makeup for my daughter’s wedding on 10/21/23! Her calm demeanor helped settle my daughter’s nerves, and everyone looked amazing!

I cannot say enough great things about KW Salon and Sasha! First of all the salon is gorgeous, bright and clean. Walking in, you immediately feel at ease even with Covid happening in the World.The atmosphere radiates beauty and happiness. The music is fun and energetic. I went in to see Sasha for a color correction. She executed exactly what I wanted and listened to everything I did not like about my current hair. I at the time did not even recognize myself, my hair was a color mess. I left feeling gorgeous and back to myself again. My hair not only looks amazing but feels amazing. I highly recommend Sasha and KW Salon.

Katie has been doing my hair for many years. I use to see her in a salon in Manchester then she moved to New York. But she always made time for her clients at home she would travel from New York to Manchester every six weeks to do there hair.
Who does that? Katie Walsh she is a master at everything she does and now she has started a new chapter.
The salon is KW in Portsmouth NH I was there last night for the first time it’s bright and cheery the best part is the sparkles on the wall.
Even though it’s sometimes hard for me I will travel the distance because she is THE BEST!

This salon is absolutely amazing! I feel like there are so many salons that try to have a certain "look" or "feel" and miss the mark. KW Salon is so modern, fresh, bright and clean. Katie and Michelle knowledgable and have an incredible background. They are up to date on the newest trends and are honest about what your hair needs and what will work. I have been going to Michelle for over a year and have very difficult hair and always ask for the most outrageous things. She has never once fell short of my expectation and always helps me understand what it is I'm really asking for and what to expect. The energy and vibe is so unique that I feel incredibly relaxed and pampered while I'm getting my hair done. The refreshment menu also helps and not having to stress about parking or rushing out in my foils to pay a meter. I highly recommend making any appointment with either Michelle or Kate and you won't be disappointed.

I have been a customer of KW’s for at least ten years. I have followed her location to location and stayed a loyal customer even when I moved to another state! She is a master of her craft and worth it. For those non-mermaids like me she can still work magic. I am always complimented after getting my hair done. The location is easy to get to and Katie is a wonderful stylist.

When Katie opened her new salon I knew I had to go! The salon is beautiful and welcoming as well as having all the Covid safety protocols on board. Easy to find eight odd highway, plenty of parking and color and styling that I grew accustomed to when she was in Manchester.
