I took a chance on a review about Jess at Hair Colour Concepts almost 4 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I love coming here for my appointments. The staff is really nice and helpful, and Jess is the best hair colorist on the seacoast! I always feel taken care of by her and everyone else. They also stock up on all the trashy magazines :)

I love this place! Ally is amazing. I walked in on a whim a few years ago because it was close and haven't been anywhere else since. They do a very thorough survey with you to establish what your hair is like and what your goals are, and even when I show up with zero direction of what I'm looking for she never steers me wrong! They keep great notes so you can go back 6 months later and they'll pull up exactly what worked for you previously without pushing sales on you. Fair pricing for the Seacoast area. 100% recommend to everyone around here

I've finally found a salon that I love and I am so happy! I've tried a number of different salons and stylists throughout my life and have never been totally satisfied. Curly hair is tricky, and at other salons I've experienced the dreaded triangle haircut more times than I can count, have had way too much of my hair chopped off without any warning that taking off a lot can shock the curls and have the cut appear way shorter than intended, and have had many coloring mishaps as well. But then enters the lovely Allie, who has been my hair guru, providing me with both cut and color services. She took the time to understand my past hair trauma, and the vision I had for my hair. I've been going to Allie for a couple years now and I plan to stick with her forever. She asks for my feedback after every appointment, and takes that to make any necessary tweaks. She is also honest with me about all of my hair ideas (if they are attainable, how many appointments it will take, cost, etc.). It's a great personality match too, because Allie is very chill and easy to talk to. The atmosphere of the salon is also very calming and beautiful. It's very open feeling, which I also love, as opposed to some salons where stylists and clients are almost on top of one another. And in covid times, this is even more important. The salon is also eco-friendly, taking various measures to reduce unnecessary waste. I am a proponent of self-care and treating yourself, but I am not a fan of wasting money. I feel like this place is fairly priced and absolutely worth every penny!

Allie is skilled and knowledgeable about all aspects of coloring and cutting. She is very meticulous and always does an amazing job! I highly recommend her and I had been picky for years, she is the only one who had cut my hair in the past 4 years.

I can't say how much I love the ladies at Hair Colour Concepts. I typically see Jessica but will work with any of them! They are very accommodating as a salon and make you feel right at home. Talented and efficient, I always leave feeling like a million bucks!

Laurie, takes the time to find out what you want to do with your hair each and every time. She listens to what you want to do and offers great advice. I love going to her because she always makes me look and feel like cinderella when I leave my appointment.

The salon is a relaxing and peaceful place to be. Laurie cuts my hair and does a great job. She always asks me questions about what works and what doesn't. I appreciate that level of concern for my satisfaction.

I love going to Hair Colour Concepts. Allie is the best. She takes her time, talks things out (even little changes), is skilled and wants it perfect for you. She has a passion for her career and is constantly working to be the best at it. Both she and Lori are very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. I've had some challenges with my hair after illness and Allie has tackled it perfectly. Great location, prices, and parking! I totally recommend this hidden gem!
