Jake was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He helped me with the design of the 2 desks I was trying to put is a small space. Found the furniture that will fit there at a good price. He sent his installer who also did a good job helping me put them where they fit best. I have used him again since and was very easy going to deal with. I will recommend him highly.

It's been over 2 years since I purchased office furniture and a chair from Joe's Discount Furniture. I needed some help with my chair. Jake and Joe treated me like their most important customer. Their communication and service was outstanding, and their resolution to the challenge I was having with the chair was 100% FAIR. I am delighted with how these guys handled the situation and would absolutely recommend doing business with them.

Jake was great to work with, answered my questions, and helped me choose the perfect furniture for my new office. Then his installation team arrived on time to deliver, professionally build and install each piece to ensure I was ready for business. I wouldn't hesitate to use Jake and Joe's Discount Office Furniture again.

Went into Joe's store about 2 years ago to find a new chair, met Jake he has an awesome selection and I was able to find the one I wanted for cheaper than anywhere online. When my chair had an issue recently he was able to fix it and get it back to me within a week. Highly recommend.

Went here a couple of weeks back. So helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. He would take a look at your height, adjust things on the chair, see how you are sitting in it, adjust some more things, and was fine if you still wanted to do the same thing with another chair there. I wound up finding something I liked, and saw it was starting to get busy, so I wound up just buying what I found so that he could go help others. Couple of weeks later and I'm still very happy with my new chair.

Loved this place! Top notch service! Jake was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful in assisting us with choosing exactly what we needed to fit in our home office. We purchased a desk with drawers and a really nice chair with no issues at all. We picked them out and we were able to pick them up the same day. Pricing was way better than anything else we looked at. The desk looks beautiful and the quality is great. We definitely will be back. Highly recommend to anyone who is searching for great quality and nice looking office furniture.

I ordered a really expensive chair online, only to have to return it because it was not comfortable. I checked out a few stores nearby, but the selection was limited and the chairs were not quite right for someone my height. I decided to take a drive to Joe's Discount Office Furniture and I was so impressed. Jake is extremely knowledgeable and was able to pull out a few chairs for me to try and adjusted them accordingly. He also asked about my home office set up and suggested a foot rest- which I didn't even know was a thing! No rush, no sales pressure, great prices, great selection and fantastic customer service.

Wife & I are very pleased with the new home office from Joe's. The furniture has a nice solid feel to it which you don't get with the buy online flatpack stuff. Price & service are excellent & Jake does a cool job with the 3D design to set up the dimensions & the look. Joe's just completed a second project for us, this time the upstairs tech cave. Once again, very pleased with the service & the result.

Joe’s son, Jake, is fantastic. He makes all of his customers feel like they’re receiving his complete attention, even when he’s working with two or three people at once. He actually listens to what you’re looking for, gives thoughtful answers to all of your questions, and gives you all the time as you need to find your PERFECT chair. He helped me find mine, and within days, I noticed an improvement in my posture and back pain. (Plus Jake’s puppy, Cooper, is amazing.)

Bottom line: What makes Joe’s special (rather than just “good”) is how much Joe, his son, and all of his employees genuinely care about their customers. So do yourself (and your back) a favor - check this place out! 👍

After going through many office chairs from online and big box retailers, I decided it was finally time to invest in a good chair that will last. The current situation has made it more difficult to source chairs online and in-store but then I found Joe's Discount Office Furniture after searching through local classified ads.

After reading many reviews, I went in with a mind set to buy Herman Miller Aeron chairs. I arrived at the store and asked Jake if they had any in stock -they did but then I got to talking with him about what I wanted. After a little bit of Q&A, Jake helped me choose the Steelcase Leap as a better fit for my needs --and it was more affordable too! I took a leap of faith (pun intended) based on Jake's help and recommendation and I have been so happy with these new chairs! Best of all, I now have somewhere to go who are knowledgeable and can support me if I have issues with the chairs! I will gladly make the trek out from Boston to support this store.

Would highly recommend Joe's Discount Office Furniture over a big box store for anyone who needs to upgrade their work from home setup.

I bought a Steelcase Leap V2 at Joe’s last summer. They had an awesome price on an open box item that was brand new. They were very knowledgeable and helpful when I went to buy it. Recently the chair started to sink slowly over the day. I took it back to Joe’s and they fixed it for me. Joe even detailed and cleaned up some damage my cats had left on the chair and he made a point to sit in the chair himself for a few days to confirm it was truly fixed. When I asked him how much I owed him he said it was free of charge! Joe and his son are easily one of the best family-owned businesses I’ve worked with. Much more personal and detail oriented than any big box store.

Excellent service. Bought an Aeron from them a couple of years ago. Recently, the chair started making an odd noise. They let me bring it back, and their tech was able to get the issue sorted out almost immediately at no charge. Highly recommend.

If you are under 5'4", like the average woman in the US, there are almost no chairs that are designed to be actually ergonomic for your body. I cannot tell you the frustration and pain I have been through searching for an ergonomic office chair the last three years, so my experience with Jake at Joe's Discount Furniture was such a breath of fresh air.

Jake is a nice guy who actually understands how bodies work. I splurged on an Aeron size A. Yes, they're expensive. Yes, they're worth it. Jake took quite a bit of time one on one with me, adjusted everything to make the chair as perfectly fit as it could be for my body, and I left feeling confident I could reach out if there were any issues.

Bought my office chair about a year or so ago from Joe's and recently the arm ripped! I was so sad, but decided to call and see how much one replacement arm would be. Jake is such a great person! Replaced both arm pads (so they'd match/be level!) at no charge?! And within 3 days! Fantastic service from phenomenal people. 100% recommended.

Joe's is THE place to go if you're hunting for an office chair. Their selection is leagues beyond any you'd find at Staples or other furniture stores. Tons and tons of chairs to test to your heart's content. Love the new chair I got their recently!

With the difficult circumstances we are forced to face during this pandemic, small businesses have been hit especially hard. Being fortunate enough to have the ability to be working from home, I was looking to upgrade my home office. I spoke with Jake about purchasing a Herman Miller Aeron & he happily took the time to answer any and all questions/concerns that I had over buying a refurbished chair. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and eased any of the apprehension that I had.

A week later I was able to complete a curbside, no-contact pick up of my chair from Joe to ensure that there would be no risk to the health & safety of either one of us. Joe then hopped on the phone and walked me through all of the features of the chair to ensure I was comfortable and happy with the purchase before I drove off.

The chair is immaculate. It came with new casters, new piston & new arm pads. You could not even tell that this chair is used. I essentially got a brand new chair at a fraction of the cost.

I've always been for supporting small, family-owned businesses (especially in times like these) & these two guys absolutely deserve it. They stand behind their products & this experience has shown me that they truly value their customers. Thank you both Jake & Joe!

UPDATE - My wife & I returned to Joe's in Oct 2020 in hopes of upgrading her office this time around. Again, Jake's helpfulness and product knowledge shined as he rattled off everything there was to know about each chair that my wife was considering. We ended up purchasing a brand new Steelcase Think for 20% off the full retail price. The level of service I have received throughout my two purchases has been unmatched & I will happily recommend Joe's to anyone looking to upgrade their office equipment. Thank you again, Jake & Joe!

10/10 - Will shop again. The service here was really quite refreshing. It's almost like they're not trying to sell you anything, but rather help lead you to the purchase that is best for your price range, application, body type, etc.

Brought home a like-new Herman Miller Aeron today for well over 50% off retail price. This thing is perfect. I am actually a bit unsure as to whether I'm sitting or not right now.

What a refreshing experience. I have a not-your-average body size. The Ops Manager, Jake, helped me find the chair that best fit me. I never felt like I was being “sold” a chair. It was a pleasure doing business with people who do good business.

I can’t speak highly enough of Joe’s Discount Office Furniture. Today I had the pleasure of working with Jake and it was hands down one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had.

Walking in, I was under the impression I would be leaving with a Herman Miller chair, but ended up walking out with a Haworth. Jake took the time (while managing a store full of customers) to treat each customer as though they were the only one in the store, talking each customer through the details of the chairs that made the most sense for their needs and body type.
