If you’re like me, you’ll agree that not all antique shops are the same.. you either instantly click with the curator’s aesthetic, or you don’t. Well, Hopewell Antiques was chock full ‘o vintage paintings and collectibles that left me craving them all. Carol Kroger & I clearly share the same eye - in so many ways - and I cannot wait to go back. I purchased an oil painting displayed in the front window which quite literally drew me inside & immediately conjured happy memories of my years living in NYC. Thank you for the best kind of gift. I love this antique store! It’s brimming with treasures and I find it impossible to leave without buying something special like an amazing original oil painting or watercolor! The owner, Carol, is very very friendly and goes above and beyond with great customer service and very fair prices. The quality of her antiques is exceptional. She has many other antiques and I highly recommend stopping in her store especially if you’re nearby or in Princeton. If you’re looking for a unique antique or gift you’ll find it here. Not only did I get an oil painting but I found some antique Christmas ornaments just in time to put on my tree! 🎄

Carol was a delight! Her shop is jam-packed with well-maintained and well-kept treasures from centuries past, and all at very affordable prices. She is also extremely knowledgeable about many different eras and styles of pieces. 10/10!!

Located right off of broad street you will find her shop to be intriguing. Tons of pieces from New Jersey and the inventory is constantly changing.

Very nice antique shop located in a very nice town. It is full of nice knickknacks, paintings, and books. I am very into history, especially history of New Jersey; seeing paintings done by New Jersey painters and books relevant to new jersey history dating back to 1920 definitely captured my interest. I got some nice guides/technical books reprinted in 1941 and my girlfriend got a beautiful painting. Looking forward to our next visit
