Rocky Manor Rentals

The owner and her son were very kind. The Bunker Hill cabin is more like a house. There are 2 bedrooms, a huge living room, a dining room, and a fully stocked kitchen. It includes an indoor fireplace, a large deck, a fire pit, and a private beach. The beach area is very small, and as you might guess, extremely rocky. The sand in the water felt like sludge and my feet sank into it. However, the water was very low when we were there. We also had access to a row boat, which was nice. The price for the place was great @ $130/night. However, this felt more like a house on the lake than a camping experience. More importantly, the neighbor next to us did everything he could to try and make us miserable. Upon arrival he declared, "I'm sick of you renters." Then for the whole week he played loud music, he played his outdoor TV loudly, and he would even intentionally yawn loudly. In my second photo, you can see the length of the beach, which only runs from the tree on the right to the rock wall on the left. Don't be fooled by the beach in the 3rd photo with the boat. That beach belongs to the neighbor. There is a $100 cleaning deposit as well. The living quarters were very comfortable but the sofa bed was broken when we arrived. As you can see by the photos, there is plenty of space to accommodate a large family.
