First time having breakfast at their new location, and I loved it. The new building is so nice and the seating is comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive to us (as always) I ordered the apple fritter french toast with bacon, it was amazing! Everything my family ordered looked delicious too. They also have a good selection on meat and other frozen food, soups and pie! Thank you for the great food and service!

This was our first time going to this Cafe. I love little diners like this one. Great atmosphere with great diner food. My husband and I had breakfast items and our friend had shrimp and fries. It was all very good. You can also buy meat products here.

This was an unexpected gem.. counters, check... All day breakfast, check, clean restaurant, check, friendly Help, check and what?!? Good food to boot 👢... Hey Lois, you still owe me a story! Southwest Skillet didn't disappoint.. Jalapeno aioli was extremely packed with flavor... They have a Heidelberger Haystack I want to try. I am traveling without a cooler, shame on me, I should be getting something from the meat market. Oh well, I will have to come again I guess... It's now a definite stop when we do our Car Club Cruises... Peace!

What a cool place. Food is great. Bacon chessburrgers with taste finally. Onion rings and French fries. Yummy. Well worth the stop.

This place is awesome! Best food around. We visit often, and the food and service is always perfect.

Definity have found a hidden gem. Was on the way home from the north shore and this hit the SPOT! Food was hot and flavorful and tasted fresh and homecooked. I had the Beef pot-roast with mashed potatoes and corn and dinner roll and the other two people with me had boasted chicken with mashed potatoes as-well. All of our meals were piping hot everything was steaming. We all also had a cup of creamy chicken wild rice soup and it was to die for! Defiantly a true Ma & Pa homecooked diner.

Amazing food and friendly staff. I recently went with a bunch of our family and kids. The waitress was outstanding. Food was loved by everyone. We have eaten there several times and never had a bad meal.

Great little place with delicious home cooked meals. We stop by on the way to the cabin. You can buy the chicken dumpling soup by the quart or half gallon at their meat market next door.

What a great spot for all day breakfast, lunch or dinner. The new location is decorated real fun with antique gas pumps and an old car theme. Very clean and bright place. We arrived with a party of six and waited only a few minutes for a table to open up. The waitress was excellent- prompt, attentive, and friendly. I had a Reuben sandwich , everyone else had breakfast. Everybody left very happy with their meal. My Reuben was made with top notch quality meat on the best bread! We will surely be back!

Not just "ok" food....GREAT FOOD!!! Juicy, delicious Bacon California Cheeseburger! Other folks with me ordered Chicken Alfredo, Roast Beef Sandwich, and Mushroom Swiss Burger, with Salted Caramel Cheesecake for dessert. All of them loved their meal. I had the Caprese Burger last time. Excellent!!

Good place to stop for breakfast.. The waitress was super sweet and friendly. Made for a great environment

The Staff were incredible. Attentive and nicer then anywhere else, watching the sunlight even, and pulling the blinds down when it was getting close to you eyes.
The outside gave me pause because I picked it and my mom looked like she was judging me, but don't let it fool you. The bathroom and dinning room are both clean and nicely done.
The food is nicely prepared and wonderful. If you get the chance, definitely stop and try it.

Had their steak and eggs, probably the best steak and eggs I’ve ever had juicy tender and when you place your order, you can get it within 10 minutes friendly atmosphere great place to stop

I had a haystack. It was outstanding. I love that they actually toast the English Muffin. On another note. You have to have a minimum of a 30" inseam to use the urinal.

Nice place!! Great looking meats in the meat case and freezer. Love the "daily special" WALL. Shows each day of the week and what their specials will be each day for breakfast, soup, and lunch-dinner. We had the beef stew "soup". Wow!!! Delicious and stick to your ribs. This restaurant used to be right off the 35 freeway exit just before Pine City but has moved into a new building across from Heidelberg, 3 miles west of the original. Go and enjoy!!! Very Family- friendly.

Great little place, with a classic appearance, excellent service, enjoyable food and peaceful environment. Will definitely done again in future. The food was also reasonably priced compared to other dine in venues.
