We chose Mark Dari as our agent to sell our house and buy a bigger house to accommodate our family. He was always available, answered our calls and texts right away . I'm ecstatic that I got a chance to work with Lauren Worob. She's always had a highly positive attitude, type-a personality, and you can tell that 'hard work' is something that's built into her DNA. I was looking for an apartment in the Croton area. There. happened to be only 1 available, she was kind enough to inform me about another that had literally been snapped up an hour or two before viewing the only inventory available to me.

The only problem is that the space's listing was not accurate and were missing a few of the amenities I had requested. She would literally NOT allow me to take it. So she made a call and we went off to view the listing that was being signed for that day. I'm not sure what kind of voodoo magic she worked, but I received a call from her later that evening telling me, the signing broke down and that the apartment was available!

I was connected with Mark Dari at Howard Hanna Rand Realty through the Home for Heroes Program. As a teacher and first time home buyer I did a lot of research trying to find the right program and realtor that could work with our needs.

From the first time I spoke to Mark, I shared how we were looking anywhere within a certain distance from the city and from our jobs, which meant that we were considering other states near NY (this is normally not what realtors want to hear, especially if you are working with more than one realtor). But Mark was very understanding. He immediately connected me with Benny and Michelle to get the pre-approval process going and also shared the information of another realtor from Connecticut that also helped us with our house search in areas nearby.

Mark was knowledgeable, efficient and determined to help us find our perfect home. For every showing, he would always arrive early and do a walkthrough of the house before we made it for our appointment. Not only that, but with the housing market being so aggressive, Mark was always optimistic and strategic about how we presented each offer. We tried multiple approaches (FHA, Conventional, writing letters to the sellers, earnest money, etc.).

We were looking in two different states NY and CT areas, working with both Mark and Jeff. We placed offers in both states and in several properties, until we finally closed this month in a beautiful home in New York!

Starting the housing process is never easy and finding a starting point can also seem overwhelming, for anyone trying to begin their house search I highly suggest reaching out to Mark. We are extremely thankful and appreciative of all the help, advice and support we received from him, thank you!
