We decided to visit the park to see what "Closed" meant. There is a washed out bridge just a few hundred feet from the parking area. The stream can be crossed on foot if the water is low and you're agile enough to do that kind of thing. The reviews for the park were good and we were visiting from out of town so we wanted to check the place out. Glad we did.

The views of the falls are from a distance but still great. We didn't want to get closer due to a bit of fresh snow. The group that maintains the trails should be commended because the trails are very well marked. We could always see the next marker from the one that we were standing next to (except for the far end of the White Trail where it meets the Red Connector Trail. Maybe we missed it.) Worth a visit once the Park reopens.

I saw some reviews complaining of poorly marked trails, but we had no trouble with that at all. A trail map at the entrance would be useful though. We had hikers aged 7-65 (with a Bassett hound!) and everybody had a fabulous time.

I found this gem not far from my hotel while on a business trip. I thoroughly enjoyed my walk in the woods spotting fiddle heads and skunk cabbage.

Nice park with a few hiking trails, we did the blue trail and it was perfect for my 4 & 10 year old. It was in the high 80s but the trail is mainly shaded which kept us cool. Also has a little pond & creek to cool off in.

Nice little park. Had small place to park, never been on trails, just near stream. Been here twice, once while biking, the other was to relocate a shrew. Has a few picknick tables. Very quiet peaceful area, with not many visitors. Use caution when driving in winter, it's on a hill.

This is a really nice walk especially for how close to the city it is. I am serrioisly considering making it a regular running spot (I'm into cross-country, this is not a paved park). It had been pretty dry when I was there, bit still the white trail had a few moist spots so I wouldn't be suprised if places got rather muddy after rain. The water fall was nice too if a little difficult to get close to because of the steep incline.

Nice park with a few miles of trails. I've never seen this place crowded. A few spots can be muddy when there has been wet weather. The terrain is varied from flat to hilly.

Unimproved hiking trail, pretty well marked. Waterfall, recommend decent hiking shoes. Sloppy after even light rainfall, you will find ample mud slogging opportunities. A beautiful place to visit. Can be somewhat challenging for long hikes.

Great park. Not good for small children as it can be a challenging hike. Definitely wear dry boots.
