Detweiler Samuel D MD

Dr. Detweiler is a very professional, compassionate, caring, respectful doctor. He has qualities that would take a whole page to cover. No matter what your illness is, he LISTENS to what you are saying as many doctor's do not. To me that is more important than anything else...to find a doctor who really cares about his patient is outstanding. Five stars are not enough to rate him. I as many in our community are lucky to have him here.

Doc is a caring and compassionate man. He spends as much time with you as you need. He doesn't leave the room until he has addressed all your concerns.

He has a deep sense of faith, and uses it to give comfort. He makes you feel that whatever the problem, everything will be ok.

His nurse, Fawn is also so sweet and personable. Both are consummate professionals.

Unfortunately, I had to leave the practice due to insurance issues.

I can tell you that while the new doctor is professional, there is no compassion. There's no small talk. She's like a drill sergeant. I leave there feeling tense and aggravated. She does not allow me to ask questions. She addresses what she wants, and not my concerns.

I miss Dr. Detweiler!!

Best doctor I've encountered in the past 45 yrs! Compassionate as well as knowledgeable, and this doctor doesn't treat his patients as a mere number. He will spend 45 minutes to an hour with you. This doc cares.

The best doctor that I have had the pleasure to meet in AGES! He is super kind, very concerned and geuinely a true man of the oath he has taken. He arranges his appointments so you have more than enough time to let him know your concerns and fears and returns them with a gracious, smiling and re-assuring faith in the future...healthwise and mental concerns. Dr. Deweiler, you are a true definition of the word "physician" Bless you always, you helped my life.

Best Dr. I 've ever had. He's very gentle in his manner, extremely compassionate..he obviously genuinely cares about his patients and provides professional care with a very human approach and open mind.

Can never get appointment. Has more patients then he can care for

They have days when they do not answer their phones at all and it goes straight to their answering service, and the answering service isn't allowed to take prescription refill requests.. Getting in touch with them recently had been a headache to say the least...
