Our first visit, what an amazing first impression!! Friendly staff, country atmosphere. All the staff knew the other guests by first name and there’s a reason people go back! Best stuffed French toast I’ve ever had!

Food was fantastic and plentiful, prices were great and staff was amazing. Brenda was an attentive server as were the others. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely DELICIOUS Eggs Benedict. I switched out bacon for the Canadian. It was perfect. My one blueberry pancake was fluffy and had loads of blueberries...and it was about 10 inches around. We are vacationing up her and stopped at the family owned and operated Diner... I t was our lucky day. The staff were terrific too.

Had a late breakfast of , eggs, ham ,and home fries , and was totally amazed since last my visit, with the previous owners. The ham was thick, and quality sliced, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, and served with delicious potatoes.. I will probably go back tomorrow with a friend ..And this place will be on my regular stop list, of places to go for a great breakfast... A+

Only been in one time since this spot changed to The Wooden Spoon, because I live 2+ hours away in MA but visit Ossipee about once a year. Me and the 3 others in my party all had really good food, very friendly and attentive service, and a great experience all around.

The atmosphere is pleasant and the vibe is light and cozy. The antiques hanging from the wall, (a common motif in the area) aren’t creepy and some kind of mythological creature who’s existence is somewhat questionable. The food was called The Southern and although it could have used salt and pepper was very reminiscent of a real Biscuits and gravy breakfast. However there are subtle differences to keep the cost at $10.99 instead of say $17.50 for real biscuits, grits, gravy and two poached eggs. The real plate is absolutely delicious and is usually only found south of the border. However their attempt at a southern classic was very reasonably priced and delicious, the white gravy could like I said use more sea salt however the English muffin as the biscuit substitute was buttered and was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a reasonable breakfast to start their day. Thank you and the coffee was good!! Great job!

Great local breakfast place. Always makes you feel welcome.

We stopped here on our drive from Vermont to Maine. Small roadside diner so always go in knowing it can be an adventure. This one was a find! We ordered a BLT and a Cheddar Vermont Chicken sandwich and both were great! Chicken was very tender and flavorful. BLT was loaded with bacon. LOVED their fries. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely return if in the area again.

WOW. Who would think I'd have the best eggs Benedict in years in a restaurant with a dirt parking lot! Great breakfast!

Just a visitor, but you can just tell that this is a local favorite. Prices are extremely affordable! I will come back if I have the opportunity. Enjoy!

The food is very good, but that's cause I love a good breakfast all day place. The environment is pleasant and the folks running around are awesome. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful breakfast on Father's Day. It was definitely a busy place that day but they were able to get all the breakfasts out quickly with multiple large parties. The food was great too!

This is a great restaurant. I enjoy the staff and the owners cheerful disposition as we arrive. I have been a customer since thier previous location and have never been disappointed with the food or service.

Great food....friendly waitresses....took a bit of time to get our breakfast but totally understood since it is Father's day weekend & the end of bike week. I would recommend this place 👍

First time there was great! Got one helluva sandwich for only $8.50. All most couldn't finish it! I'll have to go back and try the breakfast soon.

This Restaurant is awesome the food is great and reasonable can't say more.
