Stilo Cuts Barber Shop-Uptown

Just got a haircut from Jay and he did an amazing job. He did the hair how I asked but also gave me more insight of how it would look and made sure I was on board with how he was cutting it. He gave great suggestions on what would look good and the actual haircut itself was very smooth. Very friendly and I was very happy with the haircut, will be coming back again soon.

Ammar is a great barber, would def recommend. He takes care of me and makes sure I leave his chair happy. He’s attentive to detail and asks if he work needs any touch ups- but it never does. Always gets it right the first time.

Been going here for 5 years. I started getting haircuts from Ammar 6 months ago, and make sure to choose him every time now. He (like everyone else) is always punctual. He also is willing to give detailed recommendations - I changed how I get my sides cut on his advice and am liking it a lot more.

There is a recent negative review on here about him that I feel is incorrect. It is about a day where the power went out on the barbershop’s block and appointments had to be canceled. I had an appointment that same day, that also had to be postponed due to the power outage.

Ammar called me over an hour before my appointment to let me know the situation, and even offered to return to the shop late that evening once the city had fixed it. His communication around this unavoidable cancellation was quick, clear, and well-done. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t recommend any other barber shop. Amar has been my go to barber for the past year. Not only are the haircuts amazing and clean all the time but the conversation he holds are amazing as well. The barbershop itself is very clean. Definitely check them out and definitely hit Amar up. I’ve had a great experience here. Ammar is a talented barber and super consistent. I get compliments on the haircut when I’m out and about. Plus he puts on soccer or other sports on the tv which is awesome. Would recommend!
