Overall excellent meal. Quality and presentation is top notch. The cocktails were fantastic. The waiter was a bit slow to get to us after being seated, but preemptively apologized and was attentive the rest of the meal. The chicken and steak were both delicious, and the potato & leak soup was probably the best part of the meal. The salad was a bit of a letdown but it wasn’t bad and not enough to detract from the overall experience. Nice ambiance and it wasn’t overly loud inside even though it was very busy. We could have a conversation at normal volumes.

Exceptional restaurant in all areas. Had the duck breast served with a sweet potato croquette that may be the most delicious side in my dining history. Waitstaff was so helpful and attentive. Compliments to the chef on creating an extraordinary experience!

Had our first meal at GreenLeaf today and absolutely loved it! The Duck and Halibut were delicious! Service was great too!

Took my wife here for our 9 year anniversary. We'd heard about it through family and she wanted to try it out and it was the right call. Love the location, the vibe, the theme. The service was amazing, and the waiters were tentative and very aware.

We got the cheese board to start with a few drinks which were great. The cheese board was diverse and so flavorful.

I got the duck breast which was cooked to absolute perfection. The veggies and plating were so good.

My wife got the herb crusted cod which was also very good. I'm not much of a fish person but, this was delicious.

Small snafu with dessert but, the staff graciously and quickly handled it and even comped us that item without a word from us. Next level. I got the chocolate cake dessert which was just the right size and richness, and perfectly moist.

I highly recommend this spot if you haven't been here yet. It's a bit more than your average restaurant but, it is worth every penny.

We had an excellent meal. The octopus was very good and the potato and leak soup was terrific. Our main courses were the duck and the crispy skin chicken, both were excellent. We also had the cheesecake and the chocolate cake, both very good.

April 2024: Excellent again. We had the octopus and the parsnip soup. The octopus is the must have appetizer, their parsnip soup was also very good. For main courses we had the steak and the duck tortellini. The vegetables with the steak were spectacular. I usually eat meat first but the vegetables were so good that I ate them before the steak. For dessert we had the yuzu cake. Yuzu is an Asian citrus fruit that is related to lemons and the flavor is similar.

Very pleased with this place. All employees were kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Cocktail (cry me an Uber) and mocktail (McGyver) were yummy/balanced/refreshing.

Started with the Rabbit Ballotine. Superb. So fresh and flavorful. Its the first first dish I’ve had in a while that made me smile.

Harvest salad was simple but not in a negative way. It was good.

Entrees had were the halibut and crispy chicken. Both were phenomenal. Everything was cooked, seasoned, portioned, presented perfectly. I even took some halibut home because it was a pretty filling dish.

Dessert was crème brûlée and almond pound cake. Perfect way to end the meal.

It’s been a while since we’ve had a full meal at a restaurant that was as delicious as the price reflects. We have lots of experience going to restaurants with snooty atmosphere, crazy prices and underwhelming food. Green leaf is not one them. Super super happy. Thank you for the experience!!!

Had an incredible meal here with friends. The NY strip was the best I ever had, with a super flavorful crust. We also had these delicious biscuits, and for dessert the lemon cheesecake, coffee creme brulee, and the big surprise was the orange cake. So good!

Plating was excellent. Sauces were very complimentary to the food. Serving sizes were not huge but certainly adequate and I did not leave hungry.

One of the best meals I've ever had.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. 5 of us went to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They put us in a private room (which I did not request). We got a little bit of everything to eat/drink. I particularly loved the ‘Autumn is Here’ cocktail. The confit octopus was so well cooked and the presentation for all the food was beautiful. We left full and happy. Thank you Naomi and the rest of the staff for making this a great birthday for my mom.

April 2024: Another enjoyable dinner. Parsnip soup, grilled octopus, duck tortilini, ny strip - all good choices. Flavorful with creative sides. Yuzo cake for desert.
March 2024: I really enjoyed our dinner at Greenleaf. The flavors were creative, the service attentive, and the dining space pleasant with well-spaced out tables. The hot potato and leeks soup was delicious, the octopus small plate flavorful, both chicken and duck tasted good. The presentation of all entries was beautiful. We also enjoyed desserts: chocolate cake and cheesecake.

My family and I have been visiting family friends in Milford for years, and they’ve always raved about Greenleaf. We finally had the opportunity to visit on this trip, and our expectations were exceeded! Every dish was presented so beautifully. The meat dishes were all cooked perfectly, and everything tasted exceptionally fresh being farm-to-table. A fantastic option in this town, and so cool that a semi-finalist from Top Chef owns it! The chef’s wife also makes the desserts, and they were a perfect ending to the meal. The server was professional and attentive, and the vibe was modern yet payed homage to the former bank that used to be in this building. We will definitely return on future trips!

Love sharing a meal here. Great food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. There’s always a vegan main and dessert - generally just one option each but it’s always delicious so no complaints from me (makes ordering easy!). Love the focus on local, seasonal food. Menu changes frequently so always something new to enjoy.

Best restaurant I have ever been to. My boyfriend and I drove 60 miles to eat here and we were not disappointed. Our server, Greg, was an absolute rockstar as he gracefully handled 5+ tables AND bartended. Not only was he extremely attentive, but he also went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten allergy. In addition to the outstanding service, the food was TO DIE FOR!!! I highly suggest the octopus and gluten free chocolate cake :)

What an amazing restaurant in a beautiful area of Milford. The food was exceptional. The support and service were top of their game. From arrival to departure this restaurant was perfect. The spiced rack of lamb was by far the best I have had. The duck confit small place was divine. The drinks are all superb. This is one of those instances where the food and service are absolutely worth the price. A very special place for a fine dining experience

Update: 6/26/2022- Definitely make a reservation for their monthly offering of AnsanM and savor a specialty prepared multi course meal highlighting Chef's Haitian heritage!

Absolutely a must if you are in the area! Food is so beautifully cooked to perfection, and the display of each seasonal ingredient is gorgeous. Staff was amazing, friendly and inviting! The overall experience was just fantastic!!! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

What a treat to have our very own Top Chef restaurant right here in Milford! We recently had our first outing to Greenleaf for my husband’s birthday, and we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is hip and refined without feeling stuffy, and the menu is chock full of super local ingredients prepared and served in inspired and at times delightfully unexpected ways. Following delicious cocktails, we had the asparagus appetizer, and the cod and cauliflower for our entrees. Save room for dessert - the rhubarb and the s’mores dessert were a perfect way to end the meal. And, definitely don’t forget the Pullman rolls - prepared fresh daily by head chef Chris Viaud’s super talented wife Emilee, head baker at Culture cafe just down the street!

What a delightful dining experience!!! My two friends and I took our time catching up while we savored every bite of our delicious food. Two of us had the sirloin, and one of us had chicken. Each dish was prepared to perfection and was beautifully plated 🍽 I also enjoyed one of their specialty cocktails, which was a work of art. To top it off, we had the best waiter I've had in years. Rob B. served us using the perfect balance of attentiveness, while allowing us to take our time enjoying every moment. If you're looking for an exceptional fine dining experience, accompanied by an artful beverage, followed by a delicious dessert...I highly recommend Greenleaf!!!

Date night and we loved it! The appetizers were amazing (cornbread and cheese board). The cheeseboard is thoughtful and delicious. The cocktails were excellent. I had the braised short rib and my husband the ny strip. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The winter veggies melted in my mouth. We enjoyed some tawny port and shared the pistachio Pavlova for dessert. The variety of tastes and textures was phenomenal! Thanks Chef Chris and to our waiter, Rob! Such a great evening!

This place is a gem! 'That Irish Bird' was a great drink. Their House made Parkerhouse Rolls with Molasses butter were Tasty. The cheese board was phenomenal.. the honeycomb with the cheese was very good, the scallion jam was very good, and the pickles were excellent as well. The 'Summer Bean Salad' was very good. The Herb Crusted Cod was great. Each of these dishes were an Experience. They offer Gluten Free, vegan, and vegetarian options. Even a gluten free beer. 'Glutenburg Blonde' went well with the Cod.

Great farm to table food, their attention to detail and preparation is the magic sauce. Every dish and drink (alcoholic and non) we ordered was excellent. We fought over the fries appetizer and shared all the others because they were so good. Service was great and friendly. Our party of 6 was seated in the vault which was really nice, basically our own private room. We'll be going back soon to enjoy their very nice bar. Fantastic and unexpected addition to Milford. This is becoming our "go to" restaurant. They have off menu items and switch things up pretty regularly so plan on repeat visits. We've been here 10 times and are looking forward to the next.
