I have been bringing my eight month old mini Australian Shepard “ Paisley” to have weekly lesson done with Kenneth over the past 4 months and recently just had a 2 week boarding and training! Unleashed K9 has exceeded our expectations in how well knowledgeable the trainer are to how detailed oriented the their techniques are. We got updates and videos to see how paisley was doing with her training every other day, which was fun to see! There was a night and day difference in her ability to stay focused and how much she was excited to learn! Kenneth and is staff are always cared for paisley like if she was their dog! Paisley really enjoyed her time at unleashed K9 and made some good friends as well! I would highly recommend Unleashed K9 to anybody! Thanks again!

I can’t say enough good things about Unleashed K9!!! My dog was a wild MESS before, now she’s a well trained, perfectly behaved dog….she follows commands, will sit in “place” when company comes over without jumping all over them. It’s AMAZING. Kenneth is a true pro & he loved my dog like his own. I felt so comfortable with my Josie being in his hands, esp bc I could see how much she trusted & respected him. Life is so much more peaceful since she completed his training!! Highly highly recommend🙌

Our dog was a challenge and Kenneth and staff worked super hard to teach him to obey the commands so that we can continue to practice with him. He is very responsive to the commands and markers/rewards. He seems less, anxious, reactive and calmer. I wish we would have found Unleashed k9 of mn sooner, the philosophy of training is very smart and positive rather than negative towards the dog. We got set up with a few good items so we could provide continuity at home. I look forward to the followup session in future. The facility is clean with a good set up. I received excellent info and guidance regarding, food and dog allergy solutions from Kenneth before we even started. We're very happy with the thorough service and training of our dog as well as Kenneths training for us on pick up day. Thanks to this great group of dog trainers!

Kenneth, Emily and team are incredibly knowledgeable and effective in their training. Our German Shepherd went into training as anxious, reactive and hard for me to handle - and came back calmer, more confident, and less reactive. I can walk her without pulling and we can pass dogs without her lunging. Kenneth also gave us guidance on struggles we were having with our other dog. Kenneth was great with communicating and sharing updates along the way. We are still working on some things, but good progress has been made thanks to Unleashed K9. I recommend Unleashed K9 if you’re looking for training of any kind!

Kenneth and team were wonderful with Ike and his training! They were friendly, honest, detailed, caring, and thorough. I really appreciated the report cards and updates on his progress to keep me updated and connected. I wanted to find a trainer who was going to care for my dog like I do and Kenneth does 100%. I just brought him back for some boarding and he was happy to see everyone so I know he had a great time which made me feel at ease. I recommend Unleashed K9 and team for puppy training and will use them for refresher training going forward. Thanks Kenneth and team for everything!!

Unleashed K9 has been the best trainer we have worked with. We have reached out for help from other trainers, but no one has been able to actually help us and continue to help us after our board and train with our Malinois. We reached out to K9Unleashed after moving to an apartment from a house with 2 labs that didn't adjust well. Kenneth, Emily, and Hannah have been amazing! We opted to do the 3 week train for each dog and have to say this was the best investment we have ever made! We learned so much about how to be better dog owners and our dogs learned manners! We didn't even realize how different life would be with dogs that understand the rules. This group loved our dogs while they were there and taught them so much! We are loving the outcome and enjoying the structure we now have with our babies. Thank you Kenneth, Emily, Hannah and all the team there!

I brought my 1.5 year old German Shepherd Rambo in for the 3 week board and train program. Kenneth and his staff were amazing and quite informative in their training methods and how to instill the foundation for future training and expansion. Kenneth was also willing to put extra time and effort into finding all the quirks of my dog and finding out what works and what doesn't along with some bite work foundation. Rambo had a huge issue with leash aggression towards people and dogs and overall obedience etiquette wasn't there. I was getting videos of Rambo at stores walking in a heel with no issues with people walking by and kids running around and Rambo held his composure and didn't lunge or jump or bark at anyone. Rambo had a tough time with recall long line or off leash and Kenneth did a great job teaching Rambo with that. I will definitely bring Rambo back in the future for continuing training. I highly recommend UnleashedK9!

I originally brought my 7 y/o Dutch Shepherd, Maverick, to Unleashed K9 for a 3 week board and train because he likes to chase cats. I recently returned to board him over a holiday weekend and I highly recommend their services. I learned from the board and train that Kenneth and staff employ a training philosophy that creates clear and fair communication with your dog that will allow them to live a happy and free life while remaining in the control of their handler. Their system and the training I received on it gave me so much confidence, and it really improved my relationship with Maverick and the quality of our life together. I can now take him anywhere and know he will be polite and behave well, he is truly a model citizen! The thing I really enjoyed about the weekend boarding was that it was a continuation of his training—they asked if there was anything I wanted them to specifically tune up and work on and they also planned on having him do scent work for some fun—he is a retired bomb dog so he loves that! They also don’t nickel and dime you for extra play time, toys, etc. like a lot of boarding places do. The facilities appear to be clean, they have modern equipment and plenty of space. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I intend to keep using Unleashed K9 for all of my training and boarding needs in the future.

My experience with Unleashed K9 has been nothing but pleasant! I have always done a board and train with my dogs, this being my 4th one. In the past I have always used the large franchise companies for my dogs training, until I found Unleashed K9. My past 3 experiences at other companies were nowhere as good as the one with Unleashed. At Unleashed K9 I felt like I was handing my dog off to some very experienced trainers and people who truly cared for my dogs well being and not some young kid that just started in the industry. The training my dog received here was far superior to the other 3 training programs I sent my past dogs too. Kenneth was very easy to work with and got back to me promptly with any questions I had during my pups stay! I was also very impressed with the detailed itinerary and packet they sent me home with on how to transition my dog back to a normal schedule. The packet also included over 20 detailed commands my dog had learned and detailed e.collar instructions with what level my dog would need in different environments. Best of all, Kenneth spent 3 hours with me making sure I felt comfortable handling my dog with all its new behaviors and showed me how to continue its training! They approached the go home lesson with the attitude of training me and helping me have a better relationship with my pup! I dropped off a dog that had a lot of aggression issues and left with a dog that I can now walk in my neighborhood and even trust off leash! look no further than Unleashed K9! Our German Shepherd mix, Knox, recently completed a 3-week board and train for reactivity and we are very happy with his results! We have so much more confidence and trust in handling him, especially around other dogs. Kenneth was also been very patient with all of the questions I have had a long the way. Would recommend.

I dropped off my dog Gerbert to Kenneth for a 3 week board and train program. When I dropped him off he was bad on the leash and recall was horrible, I picked up a completely different dog he listens knows his commands and doesn’t chase wildlife anymore. Kenneth also spent two hours with me after I picked him up to make sure I knew how to work with my dog and the relationship with my pup is 10x better. I recommend Kenneth if you want a well behaved pup and a even better bond with your dog. I will definitely be bringing any new dogs to him.

We did the 3 week program with our mastiff mix pup and were a little scared to leave her because like most we are attached to our dog, but her time there went off without any issues! The staff really know and understand what dogs need and feel and are incredibly caring before during and after training! I would recommend ken and his staff to anyone!

We rescued Yeti, a beautiful purebred Great Pyrenees, when he was about 9 months old. Around age 2 he started to become increasingly protective of his family and home, acting out aggressively towards anyone or anything he thought was a threat to us. In public, he was leash reactive and unpredictable. Fearing the inevitability of something bad happening, I did a Google search for “aggressive dogs Minnesota” and came across Kenneth. He provided me a very honest and thorough consultation, helping me better understand his breed. He explained the training methods he’d use for Yeti and set realistic expectations with us as to what could be “fixed” and what behaviors/characteristics we’d just need to learn how to manage. Immediately I felt like Kenneth understood our situation, our goals and that if anyone could help us, it was him. We purchased Kenneth’s 3 week program where Yeti stayed with him and trained daily. I was skeptical, but can honestly say now that investing in Kenneth’s program was worth every penny. Yeti is still a work in progress, but Kenneth has remained committed, including coming to our home and accompanying us in public to help reinforce not only Yeti’s training, but our ability as Yeti’s owners to help our beloved boy become the best version of himself. That was our goal and we are grateful for Kenneth’s experience, guidance and education in helping us achieve it.

3 weeks program. Wow! My German Shepard came back home very well disciplined. Took him to the park and he did very good with distraction, he heels, he stays in Place and he’s very calm. Kenneth did an awesome job! He sent me videos of the training, communication was on point, he’s super knowledgeable, very caring to my German Shepard and a very kind person. I highly recommend him. Thank you Kenneth for your hard work! I really appreciate it.

I can't say enough good things about Unleashed K9s and Kenneth as a trainer. We got Stacy after her previous owner passed away. We knew nothing about her or her past. She was wild, completely untrained and a handful. We knew she had a potential that we couldn't unleash. After an internet search, and some research we chose Unleashed K9s, Kenneth as her trainer. We took her for her first session and were astounded by the progress we saw in just one visit. Kenneth knows dogs and is amazing at what he does. Stacy has had 2 sessions so far, and continues to improve. Not only does Kenneth offer insight into dog behavior, he knows the products that help Stacy be her best. I walked her today and was amazed at the difference in her behavior. For a dog that had never been on a leash, she has come so far because of Unleashed k9s. She walked almost perfectly, needing only 2 corrections the entire walk. Unleashed K9s has allowed us to be able to keep Stacy, something that was in question prior to her training. The great part is that she loves her sessions too! They bring out her confidence and she is happy to please. I can't speak highly enough of this place, out trainer or the experience! Somehow her aggressiveness has totally changed I don't even know how to explain that expect for Unleashed K9s training makes me feel more confident. So StacEE is so smart so she can't can't take advantage of my weaknesses. I just can't even imagine I ever thought of getting rid of her. I love her so much now I have been able to learn how to be a better daddy.

I brought my 10 month old GSD (Luna) to Kenneth due to reactivity. Before the board and train I would avoid taking Luna places because it was so stressful. After 4 weeks with Kenneth and his team I now have the companion I was looking for. I can take her with me places and enjoy my time with her. After the board and train he also equipment me with the knowledge needed to maintain Luna's skills. I'd highly recommend Unleashed K9 to anyone that's looking for dog training.

Great work on my dog Jax. Kenneth and his crew worked with Jax for 3 weeks on various obedience levels and scent training, giving me regular updates through text, email and progress videos. As a Dutch Shepard, Jax has a high drive and Kenneth has provided great tools and techniques to keep his training going forward. Already looking forward to their boarding service and future training! Amazing transformation! We had our 2 year old German shepherd attend the 3 week training program with Unleashed K9 and her progress has exceeded all of our expectations! She has come out a new dog with all of Kenneth’s help. We have been extremely happy with how her skills have transferred to our home environment and across adults. Both my husband and I are able to take her on walks no problem and she is not reactive to distractions which has made our daily life so much better already. Kenneth has always been available to answer questions and does follow up sessions! She had a tough time adjusting in the beginning of training but Kenneth reassured us that he would get her to the finish line, which he did that and so much more. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about this work. We are thankful we found Unleashed K9. Highly recommend!!

I was impressed immediately with the quick response and very thorough overview of each training option. Kenneth was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions!!

During my 3 week training session it was very easy to communicate and get updates on my 4 month old rottweiler. It was hard to have him gone. But I trusted Kenneth with him! He was very honest and when it came to week 3 Kenneth said Maverick was not mature enough for e-collar training and would recommend waiting another month. He still kept him another week free of charge. It was clear Kenneth cared about our experience and it was not just about the money. I was very appreciative for this. Kenneth also gave Maverick his meds that he needed while in the training program. He cared for him like it was his own!

The training was great and would highly recommend this program. We continue to see Kenneth for training and dog daycare. Very happy we found Kenneth!!
