Dunes Express Inn & Suites

Love this place. Stay here one week a year for work. They bend over backward for us. Staff is amazing. Solid, clean comfortable lodging.

Right off the highway, this hotel has a spacious parking lot, plenty of handicapped parking, a covered drive up for unloading and when you check in.

The staff is very friendly, there is always hot coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby. You can definitely smell the pool when you walk in, but it's not off-putting.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The non smoking room smelled a little smokey at first, but definitely not bad. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room as well as a small coffee maker, a hair dryer, and amenities in the bathroom.

There are plenty of towels in the room, but if you're going to the pool or hot tub, the front desk offers towels specifically for the pool. There is also a nice table and chairs in the room, lots of plugs for electronics, and lots of pillows and drawers unpacking.

The pool area and hot tub is spacious, lots of tables or relaxing chairs available, a shower to rinse off before you head back to your room, and rooms for tanning!

The breakfast buffet is delicious, and I definitely recommend the waffles with sausage and some syrup.

Overall, the stay was fantastic, and we'd definitely come back!

Took a trip via bike and wanted to stay in Hart. This hotel is right on the trail, with a sign and a convenient little side trail that leads you right to the hotel. The rooms were clean and had plenty of space, even with two bikes parked inside. I thought the room smelled pretty heavily of cleaner or maybe potpourri, but we just left the window open for a while and it was fine. Maybe ask them not to use anything so fragrant if you're sensitive. Make sure to ask for a main floor room if you can't do stairs because there's no elevator. The breakfast was okay, but FYI it's just a few hot options and otherwise a typical continental breakfast. The eggs were good. Service was great and everyone was very nice and helpful. We would totally stay here again, and we had a lovely time in Hart!

We went to visit family in the area, so we decided to stay in a hotel last minute. The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds. Were big enough for my teenagers. My kids loved the fact that they could make their own waffles for the free breakfast. Definitely recommend this place. Especially since we didn't make a reservation ahead of time and we just popped in last minute.

We thought this place was so cute, we opted last minute to stay an extra night! We came up from Chicago to do the Dunes and the next morning decided to check out the area! Mary at the front desk was suuper accommodating and awesome and even gave us tourists some great info and tips on things to go check out! They have a giant pool and hot tub open till 10! They also do a cute little daily breakfast! Would and will absolutely stay here again! Thanks again for everything Mary!

While road tripping around Lake Michigan, my husband and I ran into car problems and had to leave our vehicle at a local shop. The tow truck driver gave us a few options for lodging and we selected Dunes Inn. We ended up staying there for 3 nights. Obviously, a frustrating situation for us as this was not planned. Kristen, the manager, was accommodating and empathetic, as we needed to take things day-by-day. The rest of the staff was also pleasant and kind to deal with. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast had plenty of options and was kept tidy throughout the morning. The pool area was also kept up well. If I were in the area again, I would definitely choose to return. Thank you to such a great team for making a difficult situation more bearable!

The breakfast was pretty solid and so convenient before a trip to the dunes. The pool they have is big for a hotel and the hot tub was so nice after a day of riding. Standard two queen bedroom with wifi and basic cable. They had enough room to park a truck and trailer in the parking lot. Good hotel. I would stay here again if I go back to Silver Lake to ride.

Our room was perfect. The pool/hot tub was nice. Breakfast was lacking. We were down at 9 a.m. both mornings and most choices were already gone.

The staff was super friendly and even helped me with an unusual request! Room was clean and breakfast was a decent assortment of different options. Not the fanciest place, but I wasn’t expecting that. Budget friendly.

We had to stay several days with a special needs child.. From the manager to housekeeping, everyone was very nice and helpful. The rooms are well kept and nice. They have a real pool, not a 4 foot wading pool like so many others, and hot tub. It was a very nice stay.

Really really beautiful! Seems like this place was just freshly carpeted and painted! It smells fresh and clean and it looks beautiful the hot tub is gigantic! 10 people could fit inside of it. 😁 thank you!! We are enjoying our stay

Love the place but miss the jacuzzi tubs

Great, friendly service. We had our dog who was welcome for a $20 registration fee. Our room was very clean and they placed us closest to the door that had access to a potty area for our dog. Breakfast in the morning provided plenty of fresh options.

I was not going to go to this hotel but chose to do so and I am very very happy that I did. Took the family for a one night stay and I was so surprised when I saw the huge hot tub in the room and the gigantic swimming pool and the awesome hot tub the rooms were very spacious and the place was extremely clean and friendly and we felt very safe. I would definitely recommend this place to whoever was traveling through the area this place is five stars all the way and once again I'm glad that I found it.

Best value for a jacuzzi hot tub suite. I found absolutely nothing to complain about. It was located close to the JJ Ranch Waterpark, and which my wife loved. The hot tub in our room was much larger than any other we have seen. We could both fit in the jacuzzi very comfortably (2 adults). Our room was $120 per night. We stayed in late September. We called on Thursday and stayed the fallowing weekend, so that could be why the price was so low. It had a king bed and a queen bed. The bathroom was roomy and spotless. They also supplied very nice plant based soap, and which is great for sensitive skin. My wife is a health nut and she was pretty excited about that. The people were friendly. The breakfast was very nice. It was similar to the other hotels we have stayed at recently. My wife who eats gluten and dairy free could still find more than enough to eat. We really needed a weekend away and we came home feeling relaxed and refreshed. We hope to come back sometime!

We love this Inn!! We have been coming here for years. They are great and welcome you 4 legged friend.
They also offer a great continental breakfast. I know you will love it here too!

Great hotel, wonderful staff, nice pool area. I’d give them 100 stars if I could. The manager is wonderful! She deserves a huge raise!

Front desk was very helpful yesterday when I came in to get a room for one night. Front desk was going to put us in the conference room since no rooms was available at the time. I told her that was fine since we had no power at my home and didn't know when it was going to be back on. We basically jus needed showers and WI Fi. A room did become available and she put my son and I in room 113.
We had great service and will come back if power goes out again if it's more than 2 days. Thank you for the help and being so understanding.
