18/8 Fine Men's Salons - The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes

I almost never tried 18/8 when I saw the prices but im so glad I did. Worth every penny! After living in 4 cities and trying a couple dozen salons and barbershops in my adult life I can confidently say Karsyn provides the best experience Ive ever had getting my hair cut. In 2 years Ive never had a bad haircut. Shes super personable, and Id recommend her and this salon to anyone!

Nicole is amazing. She is very friendly and makes a personal connection with her clients. I’ve been going to her for about a year and she has never given me a bad cut. Highly recommend her to anyone. I would never stray from her!

Very fine establishment. I am very pleased every time I get my haircut here. It's more expensive than other haircut establishments but well worth it. Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming here for about a year until the lady left somewhere else so I followed her. I’ve always had wonderful haircuts here and even upgraded for the massage and extras.

I’ve had a great experience every visit. Love how I’m always checked in and given the text reminders. The drinks weren’t cold for awhile so I adjusted the temp inside and they have been cold ever since (hope that’s okay). Sometimes if there was a call out I’d get the business owner that would reach out and try to reschedule on their behalf. I appreciate his diligence in the matter.

Got one of my favorite haircuts I've ever had last night, Nicole W. knows what she's doing. Gave her the most undetailed description of how I wanted it to look and she made it exactly how I wanted. Will only come here for haircuts :)

Was kind of nervous to get my hair cut as it had been 2 years since I’ve cut it last. I picked this place not really knowing what I would get. I had one picture to show my stylist Casey exactly what I wanted and she nailed it, and honestly made it even better than I thought it could look. I love my new haircut and I really enjoyed getting it cut here, they treat you great. Will definitely be coming back.

Throughout numerous visits, Nicole W has been exceptional. She is able to capture exactly what I said and the whole experience is great. It is well worth the price compared to other shops.

I have been going to 18:8 in Maple Grove for almost 2 years now. My stylist over this time has been Chloe F. She has an incredible talent for cutting hair. I have been doing a bald fade shorter hair cut for some time now, and she has exceeded my expectations. Her attention to detail is probably my favorite! She makes sure every single time that I am happy with my hair when I leave. Chloe is so much fun to connect with and is a joy to visit. I look forward to every haircut appointment as I like to get one every 3 weeks or so. Chloe is the best and I will continue to schedule my appointments with her!

The first time I came in here I had a stylist whose name I forgot. She was great but didn't really give me the haircut I wanted. After that I booked with Casey and have been coming back to the salon ever since just because of her. Not only has she given me an amazing haircut every single time, she listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. She makes me feel comfortable from the second she takes me back to her chair to when she walks me back up front. You can tell she cares about her job alot because her customer service is unmatched. She's also very funny and smart and personable and it all just adds to the overall great experience. I tell everybody I know to come to 18/8 and specifically book with her. I never feel as confident as the second I leave the salon. Casey if you're reading this; thank you very very very much, I really mean that.

I have gone in several times for a beard trim and style with Nicole C. I have to say I leave with an amazing feeling of self confidence. I would rate higher than five stars if I could. I really would also like to give the highest review of another person at the salon. Xander that works the front desk is really an amazing person as well. He is so dedicated to making the experience worth every penny. These two people are why this salon is the best of the best. Thank you both for making me feel special and confident.

I have been going here for 4+ years now with the same stylist, Casey, she is by far the best for curly hair (likely other hair) that I have ever had a haircut with, always friendly and great to catch up life with! I have had two haircuts with two other 18/8 staff members because Casey was out sick or on vacation etc. and they were both really really bad (one member from the wayzata location, although they were nice… and the other was the manager I believe for the maple grove location, also nice but my god was my haircut bad) Casey is the most valuable stylist at 18/8 by far, and would highly recommend if you have curly or wavy hair!

I have brought both of my boys now, they love it! Reasonably priced haircuts for boys that make them feel pampered! Highly recommend!!

Today was my first haircut in almost 3 years. I was a bit nervous as I loved my hair and didn't really want to see it go, but I knew it needed to. This was my first time at 18/8 and it did not disappoint. I had Nicole and she was the absolute most wonderful person I could have had as a stylist. She had great suggestions without being pushy in the least. She truly was there so I would have a great experience. Everyone I saw was kind and cordial and the guy who checked me in was as polite and accommodating as possible. I would recommend this place to all of my friends. I truly appreciate how I was treated and love my hair. Thank you, and thank you Nicole especially.

I've been coming to this Salon consistently for the last year - about once every 2-3 months. The customer service is great, the staff are very nice, and Olivia, my stylist, has given me some great cuts. I've been lucky enough that the first stylist I was assigned to was someone who I worked well with for my styling needs and conversation. It was fun catching up every few months about her family as I decided if I wanted to look like Captain America or Tony Stark that week.

I like that their website lets you create a profile and gives you the history of your past appointments and stylist so you can rebook with the one you liked, even if you forget their name.

I absolutely love this salon. Particularly the stylist Chloe has a great sense of fashion and can make recommendations.

The executive membership and haircut sounded crazy at first but the relaxation of a quick massage and haircut with wash and hot towel is pretty fantastic and is a highlight of my day.

Came here for the first time and was highly impressed. Nate ur a rock star barber. he listened to the key areas and I then let him be creative and he frickin killed it. Even my wife loves it. Here's to my new barber for life.

Appointment got cancelled due to barber being sick so the owner called me at 9pm on Sunday and told me they would have to reschedule. Worked with me to find a date that would work. Goes to show how much they care about customers that the owner would call late night like that. Really like this place, all the staff and the facility is top notch!

Tonight was my very first time at the 18/8 fine men’s salon, I booked with Nicole! At 18/8 for hair stylists you’re either considered a beginner, middle, or advanced (for how long you’ve been there cutting hair) Nicole is considered a “beginner” according to 18/8. When she greeted me she was so sweet and inviting. I knew immediately I was in good hands keep in mind it was my very first time here so I already didn’t know what to expect from anyone. As Nicole started cutting my hair her and I started talking I asked her how long she had been working here, she said since January. That’s when I started telling her when I was booking my appointment I was unsure who to book with because for all I know the “beginner” stylist could be just as good as the “advanced” stylist. She started to tell me how before working at 18/8 she had her own salon and how she had 20 years off experience on her back already! I said to her it’s unfair that they give you these titles! Nicole did an amazing job! She was friendly, kind, and funny. I told her I was going to leave a Google review because she deserves more recognition for the hard work she does! Long story short Nicole was amazing and I will be coming again. Thank you!
