Surprisingly amazing food for such an off the beaten path place! If you're VRBOing in the area or even just driving through, you really ought to treat yourself to a meal at this charming restaurant. Even though they were pretty busy when we were there, the timing of the food and the service were good. Highly recommend the Croton Crawler coffee. The prices are totally fair, and the vibes are great. You can tell all are welcome here. The grounds include swings around a bonfire pit and several piggies. I had the Heirloon Tomato Toasted Cheese with Pesto and was blown away. My friends said the Pasty was as authentic as they've ever had. I'll DEFINITELY be coming back anytime I'm in the area.

We live locally and we’re lucky enough to stumble upon this hidden gem. They do special dinners and music on weekends, and offer breakfast most days during the week along with specialty coffees! All fresh homemade food. Absolutely worth the stop! We went for pizza night and it did not disappoint!!

You'll meet the most beautiful people who make delicious food. The greatest breakfast spot we've ever been. They also love Halloween.

My first time there and I was blown away by the homey atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic food! Perfect portions and food prepared by people who definitely know what they are doing. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING ALL AROUND!!!! Chef T makes some of the best food ever. They have a great breakfast and lunch menu, daily specials and do BBQ and Pizza on the fire every weekend. The Thai Bubble Tea is incredible!! The patio is super cute and there's even a fire pit in the back with live music on Saturdays. I go here as often as possible!!!

The cornbread is the best that I have ever tasted. The Cajun Seafood Gumbo was good.

This place is a hidden Gem! You can see that the food is prepared and brought to you with care. We enjoyed the pork benedict..it is amazing! As well as the baked french toast with fresh fruit. The staff is warm and friendly and make you feel welcome. With its eclectic indoor flair and beautiful garden outdoor sitting area..you will be sure to enjoy something yummy to eat and look at. You do NOT want to miss this hidden breakfast gem!! Coming back from a weekend of fishing the Muskegon River, we were looking for a nice breakfast spot. Having already been to the ‘Diner Between the Dams’ the morning before, we wanted to try something new! This “Hit the Road Joe” did not disappoint!! Super nice staff, quick with our orders and the outdoor seating area was actually insane!!(in a good way of course). Appears they also do pizza nights so I will definitely be back for that.

What a cute place to make a stop! The service here is incredible! If you ask for anything (such as a raspberry frappe cold), they are more than happy to make it for you! They have a great selection of cafe drinks and their food is amazing! I had a baked omelette with English muffin toast. If you are in the area, definitely give this place a try! It’s quaint, clean, and such a neat place!

We went for coffee+breakfast and we will definitely go back for wood fired pizza dinner! Drive thru service only right now due to covid. It sounds like there may be outdoor seating when it gets warmer. The owner has a passion for good food and quality ingredients which is evident after a few bites and a bit of conversation. A great find and worth going out of your way for.

Artfully crafted entrees with plenty of vegetarian options. Cozy, unpretentious place with personable staff. Also, some local arts and crafts available.

Amazing little place of homemade goodness. Different things on menu daily, scratch made, today was rhubarb pear strawberry crepes, root vegetables benedict , coffee, teas, etc

Nice place for breakfast and lunch and the foods was good at reasonable prices, clean facitities and they do have restroom. The girl who works here is really nice and friendly so overall it's good deserved 5 stars

We found virtually nothing open on Labor Day in the town of Newaygo. And what good fortune that was, because we found and tried and LOVE hit the road Joe! Fun patio, cool menu and delicious food. We’ll be back!!!

The pizza is amazinghere! By far the best pizza I have ever had especially the gluten free pizza. I drive 11/2 hours to pick up pizza from this place. Great prices and friendly staff as well.
