Plum Tree Yarn Shop

This was such a nice little shop. I'm not sure who served me (I was there on December 18, 2022) but they were so friendly! I asked to see some local yarn and purchased a yarn they get from a dyer in Illinois (see photos) in their own custom shop colour! I was then directed to some Alpaca yarn from a farm not far away and purchased a beautiful skein from an Alpaca called Allie ( her photo is on display at the shop!) If you're on the area, and even if you're not, it's worth stopping by!

I loved visiting this shop. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a huge selection of many types of yarn including local and hand dyed. It looks like they do lots of classes/ fun activities there. I’m glad we have such a cool shop in town!

This quant little shop was lovely, it had so many different colors that I loved they also had many different yarn styles, some were even hand dyed which is unique. When we went there for the first time the owner was very helpful and helped tell us about some equipment for crocheting. Overall this shop is amazing, to the owners I hope your business continues to thrive.

Met them at the Milan Mini Con and bought a cute little Woobles kit from them. Now I am counting stitches during my work meetings and even though I have unraveled more stitches then I have kept so far, I am enjoying a new hobby I can take along with me wherever I go.. WARNING: This craft is addicting.

Small shop, but the people are wonderful! They stock a lot of local/small business products, are involved with community events, and offer a lot of classes and activities.

My first time visiting this lovely yarn shop. I was very impressed with the selection and the assistance I received. I loved one of the samples and received help with getting the pattern and appropriate yarn. Melissa was great! (and we had lunch at the Mexican restaurant across the street and it was excellent also!)

What a delightful shop. I'm not a knitter but my wife is and we've visited scores of knitting shops over the years and I know a great shop when I see it. Beautifully merchandised for all levels of knitting know how and comfortable for non knitters alike.

Milan is an up and coming small town not too far from bustling Ann Arbor.

The store is wonderfully organized by yarn weight with a good selection in each category. It is bright and not overcrowded. I loved that they reminded me to use the hand sanitizer by the door when I walked in. Debby was very friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Loved this shop! IT is inviting, roomy and comfortable. They have a great selection of yarns and nice samples of projects. Owners were very helpful and welcoming. I love their outdoor space for social knitting too!

BEST service ever! They are so sweet. After trying another small town shop and not being able to get the colors I wanted for my project, Plum Tree Yarn delivered! They worked with me to get the perfect colors, I will never go anywhere else!

Plum Tree Yarn is immaculately decorated, thoughtfully stocked, and I love how you can easily find patterns for the yarn they sell using QR codes they have placed all around. Kim and Terry were so friendly, knowledgable, and accomodating, and I cannot wait to come back for more yarn, inspiration, and conversation! Thank you!!! :-)

I met the Plum Tree family quite by accident online last spring. And it was definitely a happy accident. After ZOOMing a summer long KAL & now a "sit&stitch" nearly every Monday, I feel like I'm treated as a part of the family. No matter what I request, it seems like they go out of their way to accommodate my wishes. And I now have what my husband calls my "new knitting buddies". All online--I'm in Minnesota! I have many yarn shops to choose from in my area, but Plum Tree is my go to shop. The staff seems so happy to work for Jen & Kim, & it shows in their customer service. Special thanks to Debby.

I ordered from their website expecting them to ship the items and maybe get them in a week or two but to my surprise, during this shelter-at-home period they delivered to my front door the same night!!!!! I couldn’t believe it! Most beautiful yarns ever - so pleased, thank you!!

I had a major problem with a pattern, it's to be the center piece of a Celtic blanket for my granddaughter: Tashena the she-dragon. I was fearful I'd never get it. Bobbi was more than helpful, she was reassuring and calming. She found an easier way to do a complicated stitch. I've been able to make significant progress since our meeting. Thank you Bobbi! I'm so glad that PTYS opened up in Milan!

Great assortment of items; books, notions and Yarn. Very attentive staff. Called with an error on my receipt and corrected it all before I even noticed. Cheerful atmosphere.
