Mama Mia's Italian Restaurant

Everything great about a small town Italian restaurant. Great food and good company with a laid back atmosphere. We ordered the bread sticks (full not Half) and mozzarella sticks. The bread sticks came on a 14" pizza pan covered in cheese and parmesan. The NY Strip (10oz) was cooked as ordered and very enjoyable. It was prefaced with a tasty minestrone soup and accompanied with an absolute slab of buttered bread. My wife had the cheese ravioli with meat sauce and the nieces had shells with cheese and meat sauce. The meals came with desert, and we just managed the ice cream. The portions are huge and everyone walked away full and happy. The bill was very reasonable for 4 people. Definite recommendation.

The staff was amazing. lt was my first time and just wanted to get pizza Togo. Which I got a small pepperoni and green pepper pizza, with mozzarella sticks, and strawberry cheesecake. Per the staff everything is homemade and you can tell. The mozzarella sticks and marinera sauce where to die for. The cheesecake rich and fluffy. The pizza was good but not the best. I can't wait to try there other selections.

Delicious food! Great spot for an intimate date or fun spot to gather with friends! The atmosphere allows for privacy or just a good ol time! Highly recommend!

My wife and I went in for dinner. The wait staff was friendly and courteous. We both had full meals, and each dish was fresh and had a nice presentation. We both enjoyed our dinners.

Best kept secret in Ishpeming. In Marquette for graduation weekend, and wanted to go out of town for dinner. Beautiful interior, unbelievable food, great service. Been coming to the area for years and never been before and can't believe what we've been missing out on.

Although the price seems steep, the amount of food you receive makes the price obvious. The food is delicious and well timed. Appetizer, soup, entree, the desert. All came at a well planned time. Would absolutely recommend to anyone able to treat themselves.

This place feels like stepping into the past. I feel like I'm 8 years old, out for a nice dinner with my grandma. The decor and atmosphere are such a 90s-2000s throwback, in the best way possible. The food is solid and the garlic bread is to DIE for (and will probably make you die because it's so buttery, yum). Excellent lasagna too!

We've always had excellent service too! Love this place and love that they're open a little later than most restaurants in town.

The atmosphere was 4/5 because the decor is a wannabe Italian villa. But I don't really care about that. I'm not a fine dining guy. I like food and I like when you get what you pay for. We got what we paid for.

I got the 16oz sirloin. It wasn't cheap. The meal was $29. You get soup or salad with it. We went there to eat like the don in a Mafia movie. So, I added an order of nochi. My friend got a huge plate of fettuccine and my wife got a huge plate of ravioli with meat sauce. Each dish came with soup or salad and ice cream. My steak dinner doesn't include ice cream, but I was taken care of. They serve garlic bread. It's the best garlic bread I've had at a restaurant.

The waitress was excellent. That's all I can say about that.

We spent a lot at our table. I got the 16oz partly so I would have a little steak snack later There are more budget friendly, budget friendly dishes that are still big, and still delicious!.

I'm visiting my friend that lives in town. I would go back a second time before we go home Friday. I will definitely go back when I come back to visit.

The service was immediate and friendly, the food choices were many, and our dinners were delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered a spaghetti dinner with meat sauce. I love the mushrooms and green peppers that were in it. The garlic bread was delicious and my salad was so good! Yummy house dressing. I also had the minestrone soup, and that was delicious, too.. oh, and ice cream! All of that was included in my dinner! So good! Can't wait to go again.

Ok I very seldom go into detail but let me say right off I'll be going back. The garlic bread n steak, on point. Just alittle disappointed that the ranch dressing was bottled and the pasta /the noodles wasn't made there. The first time I had pasta Primavera the veggies were grilled w/balsamic vinegar and the parmesan had a bit more flavor and noodles were not boxed but that was in Italy itself so this dish here I will reorder but just adding that there's always room for improvement. Again steak on point. And was it just that cold in Ishpeming -turn that heat up a few degrees

Love this place. Used to eat here a lot but now usually get it to go when I’m home, and it’s almost even better at home. It’s gotten a little expensive but what can you ask for these days. They have some damn good pasta and chicken dishes. Garlic bread is also great. Always pretty fast. Very good

Prompt friendly service. No wait for table. Food prepared and served as expected. Attentive waitress. Cod and steak dinner my new favorite!

I used their catering service and they were top notch. On time very friendly and professional staff food was great everyone loved the food some came back for seconds Thank YOU .

We went there for a lasagna dinner.
Soup , Anti Pasta salad. Lasagna and ice cream for dessert.absolutely all the very best! Better than NewYork,Chicago or Detroit! Oh and the garlic bread!!!

ButterMama Mia Mi raccomando you can tell this yummey grease came from italy it is so Italian the gods say chefs kisses and my tummy yearns for more Italian onion and Italian cheeses

Everytime we are in the area we stop at Mama Mia's! This place is awesome, if you like Italian food you can't go wrong here. The garlic bread is the best I've ever had. Don't go here if you're on a diet! They feed you well.

I've been coming here for decades and it hasn't changed a bit in all the right ways. Definitely a great place to dine with family of all ages.

Food was good and abundant, service great and friendly staff.

My boyfriend and I went here on Valentine's day. At first I was kind of put off by the pricing (were in our early 20's), but after seeing how much food we really got, I was extremely happy with it. The meal we chose equaled out to about $5 per course, and we had leftovers to take home even. Definitely not small portions. The waitress was also great, and we will be returning! I enjoyed it much more than my last visit to the villa and any visit ive made to the casa.
