My husband has been bringing our cars and trucks to the other place in town for almost 15 years. We have noticed that the female co owner of the other place along with her husband have been growing rude and snobby at a unsurpassed rate. Last week we brought our vehicle in and decided to give these guys a chance. What an awesome experience, our only regret is not coming here long ago. It seems the other collision shop in town does not need people’s business according to their poor attitude. Glad we gave bartenens the $ and will continue to do so!! Picked up one of my work trucks the other day, and just like when my ex-husband's diesel van had weird trouble back in the day, they took the time to figure it out. Now, we just need some snow for all the work on the plow frame blinkers, and we're in business. lol, thanks!

Bartanen's is the most honest and reasonable mechanic I have ever been to. They are the only ones I trust with my vehicle! They also have loaner vehicles so you don't have to worry about how to get to work when your vehicle is being repaired.....just request a loaner vehicle when scheduling your appointment.

My son goes to school in Marquette, we own a automotive shop below the bridge. Nice to have someone who operates an honest shop close to the school. There's a reason they schedule 3-4 weeks out, Bartanens runs a business they can be proud of. Would recommend to any parents who are doing auto repair on there sons, or daughters car from out of town.

I recommend Steve to every single person I come across who owns a vehicle. He has worked on all the cars I've owned along with my parents vehicles. He's made sure I had a vehicle to get to work with when I was in between cars. He sold me an incredible SUV at an incredible price when I needed it the most and has completed almost all of the work I needed so far. He always gets me in on a timely manner and service is professional and prompt. 100/10 would reccomend to anyone looking for car repairs.

I had a need and stopped over to see if they could fasten my hood latch on the o7 Ford Focus 2.0 L engine!
He promptly came out and did a beautiful job down to the rubber bumpers being rotated just so!
Keeping that detail of service in mind ,I will be for sure servicing my oil leaking issue on same vehicle during this icy, early UP Spring!

The service was super quick and they provided me with a top quality loaner vehicle. My vehicle looked brand new and they even vacuumed!! I recommend this shop. The best way to judge a business is how they respond when things don’t go well. They replaced the a/c compressor on my 96 Avalon with a refurbished part and a year later it started leaking. So they replaced it with a brand new compressor and charged me for 1/2 labor cost. Then the system still wouldn’t blow cold (likely a restriction somewhere they said) so they refunded me the labor cost.

I had to have a door painted from an accident in Alabama and I was directed to Bartanen's Shop. They got me in quick and were so helpful, I really didn't have to do anything. The paint job was PERFECT. I was so happy due to the fact I'm a perfectionist. I was hit three days ago and they got me in and out quick. This the only place I will go now. They're great, so is the dog who hangs around.

Had a couple flat tires recently and dropped them off. They were fixed. Actually they could find anything wrong with one and just remounted it and that fixed it. Since he felt like they didn't really fix anything he didn't charge me for the mounting of that tire. I have brought other vehicles for them to work on various issues also. I would recommend them for your overall mechanic and body shop needs.

We have been using the Bartanen's for many years for both service/ maintenance and body work when unfortunate accidents happen. We have been pleased with their work every time. They are great to work with and are a business you can trust!

I was home, ( live in Wisc ) in the woods, and my front end was making noise. Called Bartanen's. Linda was empathetic to my concern. Said bring it in right away ( Thursday A.M.) and they would squeeze me in and try and get it back to me by Friday. Done deal. CV axle replaced reasonably priced, and back to me by 300 P.M. Friday. What a great place !

Bartanen's always takes excellent care of my vehicle and does quality work at a reasonable price. They are accommodating with schedules and they are all around nice people to work with.

While traveling through the UP in our motorhome, we developed a front end vibration. Monday morning, we started calling repair shops(16 in all) and Bartanens was the only auto service that agreed to at least take a look at it that day. The problem turned out to be a tire. The front tires were replaced, the vibration gone and we were on our way again all within the same day. I will never forget your willingness to help out and professional courteous service. You turned a very stressful situation into a great experience. Thank you very much.

Like many Yoopers I have an old beater PU. Needed some work to get er runnin good, price of gas can't afford motor skipping a beat. In and out in less then 2 hours and purrrrs like a kitten and cost effective. Thanks for giving My beater a little more life.
