Fredrick Jewelers of Bloomfield Hills

I was charged with going through my mother's and grandmother's jewelry to determine its value, and called this store, among others. Beverly was kind on the phone and offered to do an informal visual appraisal and advise me on how to liquidate anything we didn't want to keep. When I came by in person, she was compassionate and happy to help me even though I wasn't buying anything. I would go back to them for any fine jewelry or repairs I need in the future!

My wife inherited her mother's wedding ring and was exploring options for converting it to a more usable piece of jewelry. We first stopped in at one of the more famous - and expensive - jewelry stores and they clearly had no interest in the project nor did they have any ideas.

So, we moved on to Frederick and shared our challenge. We met with Vahe and he was absolutely amazing! After spending a very generous amount of time with my wife, Vahe came up with multiple options for making the old ring into two pieces of beautifully designed jewelry that could be crafted in-house using content from the ring.

Today we picked-up the finished product and my wife is delighted! To top it all off, the price was unbelievably reasonable - far below what we have come to expect from that other famous jewelry store. So, many thanks to Vahe and Frederick for their exemplary customer service and an outstanding unique and special keepsake!

Fabulous people and amazing service! I came in with my daughter to pick up an item she had purchased, and they offered to clean my ring at no cost. Angela saved me because she noticed that two of the prongs holding the diamond had worn down and the diamond was at risk of being lost. They reinforced the prongs on the spot for a very reasonable price. I’m from out of town, but would highly recommend this business. Gorgeous jewelry selection too!

I took my son here to have longer post added to a pair of diamond earrings I had given him. We looked at several other pieces of jewelry while we were there and never felt rushed. They have a huge selection, good prices with very good quality. I have found my new jewelry store. I felt very comfortable shopping at this location and I highly recommend anyone reading this to go and check this store out.

Great people! My son bought a ring online but it came a bit too large. We came in to see if they might be able to right size it for him. They took us in right before closing time and sized it for him for free! Thank you again. God Bless you for making my 9 year old happy today!

I was calling around the area and this was the only place that spoke kindly on the phone when I inquired about the price. Going into the store, the employees are very kind. Angela was so nice! I took a necklace that meant a lot to me, to be repaired due to the chain breaking. It was very fast and they did a great job! will be a definite customer, I already referred the location to others!

Recently our neighborhood jewelry store closed, and I was on the hunt for where to take a broken necklace. I am so glad I was recommended Fredricks. They are family owned and the level of service was unbeatable. They have a gorgeous selection and will happily support them in the future!

I was in town for my wedding and noticed the diamond in my engagement ring was pretty loose, so I stopped in to see if they could help despite my husband purchasing the ring from a jeweler in Pennsylvania. They did not hesitate to tighten the prongs and even fully cleaned it! It looked perfect on my wedding day and I could not be more grateful for their help. The stone is still very secure months later. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I came here to get my ring cleaned and get a new pearl on it! The owner and the woman named Angela who work there are extremely pleasant! I was a little reluctant on coming because it’s not as close to my home as I’d like. I’m so happy I came and I will continue to come to this establishment for future high quality jewelry. Oh I forgot, they gave me a GREAT DEAL on my pearl! It’s beautiful and I’m so happy! Thank you again for the wonderful experience and great customer service!

I had a great experience in this store. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Even though our family jeweler is located in Troy, the construction in that area encouraged me to find somewhere closer to home. (I am located in Bloomfield Hills). I took three silver necklaces and pendants to Fredrick for repair. The necklaces were from Tiffany & Co., and sometimes a private jeweler will give you a little bit of attitude when asked to work on jewelry that is not theirs. That is truly not the case at Fredrick's. Everyone was down-to-earth and easy to work with. The repairs were made quickly and at a very fair price. The repairs turned out great, and the necklaces were returned to me polished and packaged in a small, velvet pouch. When I went in to collect my items, they even offered to clean and buff my wedding rings for free. Excellent store and excellent customer service. I plan on giving them more business in the future.

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring here and not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but the customer service is unmatched. I needed to get it resized; done in a couple of days. It got the WORST iron staining on it from a water softener gone bad, looked yellow all over the band and the diamonds, but they were able to fix it and bring it back to its original glory. SO nice, SO helpful!

Wonderful Service and Craftsmanship

Went to this store after reading reviews. I was looking for something for our 20th wedding anniversary. Didn't want to get her something that was common or someone else was wearing. After looking around and not quite finding what I was looking for, Angela went into the safe and brought out a very nice stone. I didn't see an empty setting that I liked, but did see an already set engagement ring that the stone would fit. She had the stone removed, replaced with what I had picked out and resized it, IN TWO DAYS!!!! I did not expect that good of service or that fast. I will post pics. After I give it to her

When ordering my watch over the phone, not only were they extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to text me the picture of my order and a picture confirmation of the shipping information. I went to Fredrick Jewelers for service on my 5 year old Bulova automatic time piece, just before the world ended with Coronavirus. At the time, they presented me with the watch band options I was looking at, and gave me a time frame for the new crystal. I was also offered a loaner watch in the interim to hold me over, but, I passed in favor or simply buying another new watch from them. I was updated when the watch was all set and business was open and it is BEAUTIFUL. It is so good to have it home. I just went and dropped off my grandfather's old Bucherer for service similar to the Bulova and am so excited to see what they do.
