Always love going here with my dog to swim and enjoy the outdoors. With a rope swing know to the locals and some nice 12+ ft rock cliffs to jump off you'll sure to have a great experience of a local park thats you can fully enjoy the UP experience if just a troll. 😆 can hike over to Deer lake as well. Enjoy the trails here.

This is a beautiful area with trails for walking and biking during the summer and skiing in the winter. It's clean and it's a great place to get out and get some fresh air. Once you get to the top, there's a lookout where you can see Teal Lake, the highway, and the trees for a looong way. It's a couple miles of a walk, but it's well worth it.

In the summer it's a wonderful open green space with a park and trails to walk. In the winter it's got cross country skiing trails (bring your own equipment) and an absolutely wonderful inner tube snow slide on the weekends with a tow rope!
You can also bring your own sled and go sledding in "the bowl" across from the school!

Not sure why so many people are giving 4 star ratings. This place is incredible. The tube sled hill is great (go at night), the lake is great to look at or hammock at, and the trails are great for hiking, skiing, or biking. Pay this place a visit, you won't regret it.

Beautiful family recreation area that I have had the privilege to utilize since I was a child. From birthday parties at the sledding hill, to swimming at the Teal Lake beach located within the park. The pavilion makes for great summer birthday parties or family get togethers as well.

Quiet, even on Memorial Day, and the views of the lake were stunning!

Update 9/4: Enjoyed just parking for the view while I read a book on a Sunday afternoon. I could spend a whole day just hanging out here!

We walked for about 6 miles and every bit of it was beautiful. One of the trails eventually leads to a lookout over Teal Lake. The view from there is gorgeous. Definitely recommend if you have time and want to get a little exercise in!

Some of the toughest ski trails I've skied on, great hills. Beautiful trees covering the trail too. The bathroom facilities were surprisingly decent, even in the winter time. Well heated and pretty clean. It was a great venue for a ski race and I would definitely ski there again

Best place in town to get outside during winter! Our kids had a blast at our winter church event. We were able to rent out the cabin on the middle of the hill for a potluck. It was super fun, and the hill that night was VERY FAST. Lots of fun, highly recommend for anyone who likes to get outside and have fun!

On our way back to Tennessee from the UP of Michigan, my fiancee and I stopped at many places along our way to see sights and get some air. This particular park was very beautiful and serene. The UP had so much to offer and this was just another fine addition to the many interesting places I got to see while up north. We will visit again when we return.

Excellent place for kids and adults with lot of winter activities to do. Kids have lot of fun on the tubing hill and the best part is they lift you back up so you don't have to walk back up the hill. Snowshoeing, cross country skiing and ano biking. One place entertainment for the whole family in the winters.

If you want to sled or tube check this place out. Worth the drive from Marquette. The sled bowl behind the school is even lit after dark.
