Great store! Large selection of grocery items, including fresh meat, frozen, refrigerated, baked good, authentic tortillas, and produce. The prices are good! Plus, they have a restaurant inside. There are a few tables to sit at. The food is so good, authentic too! Many options for a little in-store restaurant! Responsibly priced. We ordered mid-day Sunday and the food only took about 10 minutes to be ready. Today, they had street corn available. It was nice to try! I haven't found anything in the area like this store and restaurant. We haven't even found anything this good in GR!

My spouse and I have always felt welcomed in this store. I am aware that authentic places like this might have a language barrier. My Spanish is quite rusty, so I am quite shy about utilizing it, and yet, we've managed to have no issues. I can always use a translation app if absolutely necessary.

While in the Kalamazoo area I was looking for some food near my hotel and google pointed me in the direction of El Ranchero.

This is an awesome place, it’s a Hispanic grocery store aka bodega.

Has food, meats and treats.

You can find pretty much anything you want here from Mexico and it reminds me of my childhood growing up in California.

Inside the store they also have a taqueria with bomb tacos!

I’ve been back twice on my trip for drinks and snacks!

Love this place! My daughter and I are always comfortable going in to the taqueria and getting the most amazing food! We enjoy the atmosphere and the food is worth the short wait for fresh preparation of authentic mexican food for a great price.
We got the chorizo tacos, chicken tacos, chicken quesadilla, and creme filled churros made from a local business for our delight! Amazing! Better than I have ever had anywhere else! They go quick, and most days they are sold out by lunch. Lucky weekend score for us!

I always find what I need. Small but great place to shop. I love the hot food they serve . The food is very good . The portion is good and prices are fair.

Stopped here to check it out and grab lunch. Very clean, well stocked and friendly staff. Asp amazing and delicious tacos that were super fresh and well presented. Highly recommend for all the specific groceries they offer and the food.

Honestly, this place is a hidden gem for most. They have a good selection of groceries, a butcher in the back, and up front you can order tacos, burritos, etc. Also, they make their own salsa (Roja & Verde), which is really good.

El Ranchero is legit. The food is excellent but only if you like really good authentic mexican food.

Best authentic Mexican tacos perfect as a weekend treat for the family. I take my family every sat or sun and everyone leaves a clean plate. Delicious 😋

El Ranchero Super Mercado had their Grand Opening on Saturday, 10-26-2019. Huge place with great products! The best of luck to the family. Revisited on 12-28-2020. Very glad Tamales are now available. Business and service is top notch!

Walking into this amazing smallish yet astonishingly stocked Spanish/Mexican/Central and South American market brought me back to the best places in Los Angeles (where I grew up) and made me feel warm on a cold, snowy (!!!) day. I only had time to run in and out, as I was picking up a very specific ingredient for a restaurant right down the road so they could make the brand-new menu item that debuts today.
I will be back again to check out the AMAZING smells coming from the small takeout taco counter in the left front corner of the store (the simmering meat and spices were heavenly) and peep at the multitude of specialty foods they have to offer.
Who knows, I might even walk out with a llama piñata....

Great authentic Mexican products and specialities. Amazing quality fresh meats, decent and varied produce, and an incredible selection of spices. Prices are fair, product availability is better than many local chain stores, and the employees are friendly and welcoming. Parking can be a bit of an issue at peak times, but it is more than worth a little effort to find a spot. Take a look, you'll like what you see inside.

I can't believe my Dad and I had never been here before! This is an authentic Mexican market with some many good items! We were referred here by a friend for their chorizo sausage, which we tried the same evening. It's amazing! And you can order tacos, tortas, and quesadillas while you're in here? Wow! And that was one amazing al pastor taco!

So many great grocery options! The restaurant is delicious. Best beans and rice around! Super affordable and so tasty. They have amazing tortillas also! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The cook was very patient to explain the different meats available to my husband who doesn't know any Spanish. I was very happy with the friendliness and time he took to help us!

I have to come back with more money! I found everything I was looking for and so much more!
