Courtyard by Marriott Mt. Pleasant at Central Michigan University

This hotel is located right on campus next to the stadium.
The lobby is amazing. One of best I’ve been in. A lot of amenities, including a morning, café bar with Starbucks, and evening café with drinks and limited menus. There’s also vending merchandise at front desk. There’s a complimentary laundry room near the pool area. The meetings rooms are sectioned on other side of lobby and seem spacious too.
Our room was a two room suite that was very spacious. Definitely room for an air mattress if needed. The beds were a bit stiff. There’s a very mini fridge that will hold maybe leftovers and some cans of pop. We went during a recruitment for Central for our oldest and the hotel was Erie. Quiet but I’m sure on football weekends. It can be fairly loud as there are alcohol signs throughout the lobby.
The only real negative comment for our experience was the pool area. Although it was well kept, there was way too much chemicals in pool that it stung my 6 year olds eye and the jacuzzi was as lukewarm as bath water.

Lovely clean hotel. Very nice!! There is a bar in the hotel which was convenient. Outdoor patio also. Would definitely stay again!

This is a great location on the CMU campus. The rooms are really nice, as is the rest of the hotel. There is a lobby, bar, pool area, and meeting area. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's close to the football field and the arena. There are restaurants within walking distance.

I had a great stay at this hotel. It was next door to Central Michigan University. There were several stores and restaurants nearby. This will be my hotel of choice whenever I am in the Mount Pleasant area.

Rooms were spacious and clean except the coffee maker. If you use the coffee maker, check the water reservoir, which had a slime buildup and a dead fruit fly in it.

Courtyard of Mt pleasant should be classified as a 4 stat hotel. Ive stayed at lots of hotels and this one definitely is a step above the rest.

Love this place. So nice, so clean, great staff. We lost power for 3 days and me and my boys felt right at home. And the food was amazing too. I’m also an amputee and thought it was so cool the pool and hot tub were handicap able.

I got stuck in Mt. Pleasant for several days due to my car breaking down on the way to the UP. While it was not an ideal situation and our trip was ruined, the staff at the Courtyard by Marriott made the process of needing a place to stay so great! We considered switching to a cheaper option in the middle of our stay, but the kindness of the staff kept us here. They were all personable, including the front desk staff, management, housekeeping, and even the great bartender downstairs (I wish I could remember her name!). They allowed a late checkout multiple days while we waited to see if we needed another night, and they also let us sit in the lobby the day of checkout until my car was finally ready. If you find yourself in a situation where you need a hotel in Mt. Pleasant, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

If you are attending an event at Central Michigan University, this is definitely a great location to stay.
Their facilities are very nice.
The only shortcoming is no real on-site restaurant.
They do have bar/tavern related foods they can serve.
And they do have a quasi-fast/fresh food service area, but no functional restaurant.

AGAIN, but, there are quite a number of excellent restaurants in very close (walking) distance to the hotel.

The staff are very nice and extremely helpful.
And the hotel itself is very comfortable.

Nice clean hotel. Large size rooms. The service is nice. and the staff are great and helpful. There are two elevators. The hotel not crowded so that is good. Excellent things that no pets are allowed and no smoking policy so it is super clean and smells well. No pet pee, poop, or smoke smell. Clean beds and bathrooms. There are several conference rooms. There is a indoor pool, gym, and laundary. Free parking. There is no complementry breakfast but the cafe in the hotel makes hot breakfast for around $15 dollars. The food there wad tasty. The coffee there from starbucks so it is tasty. Very nice staff in the cafe as well. Would recommend for everyone who search to stay in that area

Great modern rooms that don't disappoint. Very friendly staff and clean. Bathrooms and shower are excellent. I like that it has Starbucks coffee and bar on site. Snack and drinks area is very accessible and plenty of choices. Will keep going back

We stay here every year for the State Special Olympic tournament. The location is perfect! We are able to walk to everything! The rooms are always clean. The staff is always very friendly. It is usually a little more expensive but worth every penny when everything else is perfect!

We stayed here for a Saturday-Sunday in November as our first night alone as new parents in over a year. We went to check out the casino and have a great night out. Upon our arrival, we found out that in my excitement of planning, I booked the room for the wrong night (Friday-Saturday). We were informed that we’d be charged for the room but we could still get a room for the night we were there. We booked a new reservation and went up to our room with a sad cloud feeling because it’s a lot of money for a silly mistake I made, especially around the holidays! After reaching out to the hotel, they very graciously gave us a full refund for the night we weren’t there and were swift and kind in their responses. They had a great bar/lounge area and a cute little cafe for breakfast. The rooms were MASSIVE! They have won us over for any future stays we have!

Place is great. Rooms are always clean, well stocked with towels and items you’d expect. And the staff is always friendly and helpful with requests. I stay in the area often and always have a positive experience here.

Clean, convenient hotel right on campus. Rooms are large and breakfast options are good (not a free buffet). Prices will be very high on football weekends, but understandably. Even numbered rooms will have a view facing the stadium. Pro tip: use the filtered water dispenser in the fitness room to refill water bottles.

Great hotel, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Staff was great here and I hope to stay here again soon. The only concern, I wish the fridge in the room was bigger. Great location.

We stayed here 7/9 for a concert at Soaring Eagle. Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms that are clean and comfortable. We didn't have time to try the Bistro or pool/hot tub area. The only thing I'd recommend is offering complementary bottles of water. Staff was nice.

Caleb and lauryn at the front desk are amazingly friendly and very helpful! Our room was extremely clean and very well organized! Everything about this location was 5 star! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Management and Staff are excellent. Bobby, Jaiden, and Jenna are all stand out folks. Will be staying here every visit in Mt Pleasant. My stay here was for 4 nights
