My hubby ordered a beautiful cake from here for my 30th birthday. It looks soooo beautiful and taste was AMAZING. I got butter cream red velvet cake :) Rita accommodated a rush order for us for a fair price. I will definitely order stuff from here again.

I went here for my son's 3rd birthday and ordered a cake and fudge brownie bites. This was the absolute best experience. Rita was amazing and accommodating. Even with last minute changes, she handled them, no problem! And to top it all off, the desserts I got were delicious!!!

Pick up was easy. I would just suggest showing the finished product before asking for payment. I did feel a little weird about being asked to pay before I could even see my order. I asked for tiki themed cupcakes and got them! Super cute. Dense tasty cake. The pink frosted cakes did have a strong chemical frosting flavor but the rest did not, I imagine it’s from the food coloring.

My cousin’s 21st birthday was coming up so I wanted to get her a cake. I chose Edgewood based off of the good reviews they had and I’m so glad I made that choice. I showed Rita a photo of a cake I was inspired by but let her make any changes/adjustments as she saw fit. She gave me great advice on what would work and wouldn’t work with the cake and I trusted her completely. She was really great with communication during the entire process, too. When it finally came to pick up the cake, I was in shock—it looked exactly how I wanted the cake to be and BETTER. It was seriously the prettiest cake I’ve ever seen and delicious, too! My cousin and entire family loved it and kept asking where I got it. Everything about my experience with Edgewood was practically perfect! Definitely recommending them to everyone and will come back for future baking needs!

Rita was such a joy to work with!! Not only was she extremely accommodating to my requests, but she was responsive to all phone calls and emails while I planned my wedding in around 3 months! Her cookies were absolutely divine, we got compliments all night! The most beautiful and delicious treats for my wedding :)

Rita did an awesome job on the the Black Forest cake last minute for my daughters bday! I added the topper to the pic but it didn’t need it gorgeous and as described. Everyone loved it and plan to use her bakery in the future! I love supporting local bakers and she’s the real deal.

I worked with Rita for a styled shoot that I hosted and she was wonderful! She always responded to my emails quickly and thoroughly communicated with me throughout the entire planning process. Not only that, but her desserts were delicious!!!! I highly anything she makes with lemon :) So yummy!

I asked Rita if she could make something for my friend's birthday only a day in advance. Look at this beautiful assortment of cupcakes she was able to get me in only a day! Her baked goods are unrivaled in Grand Rapids and quite affordable too!

Loved ordering from Rita! She was extremely helpful and made exactly what we wanted. Ordered a gluten free cake and it was delicious! (Couldn't even tell it was gluten free) Will definitely be ordering again and would recommend to anyone.

The blend of excellent, friendly service, unmatched beauty and attention to detail in the decoration, and phenomenal taste all make for a recommendation of five stars. We had the gluten free carrot cake with cream cheese frosting made for our wedding cake. It was delicious !
It was so fresh , flavorful and moist. You would’ve never known that it was gluten free. We highly recommend Edgewood Bakery to anyone.

This excellent bakery is a hidden gem for Grand Rapids. The business owner is extremely professional and pleasant to work with. The presentation and taste of the cake was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back for more sweet treats.

Rita was prompt with communication and fair with pricing with a rush order on two dozen treats for a birthday party this past weekend. We absolutely LOVED the lemon bites and nanaimo bars! I would absolutely come back for more--I'm getting hungry just thinking about it :)

I am visiting from out of town and needed a cake for my son. Edgewood bakery made him a delicious chocolate cake with a number 6 piped on top. It was so good and he enjoyed it. She was so nice, professional, and has great customer service.

These cupcakes were AMAZING! They were extremely moist and delicate. The frosting was perfectly sweet and not overpowering. It was a delicious treat. My grandson, his siblings and parents ate them all! LOL! The owner even included instructions on what room temperature to preserve the freshness of cupcakes. By far the best cake I have ever tried in my life! Rita is very professional and offers excellent guidance when deciding on cake flavors. I ended up ordering a six inch layered almond vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream layers and vanilla buttercream frosting on the outside. The cake far exceeded our expectations. We will be certainly be going back for other occasions! If you haven’t tried Edgewood Bakery’s baked goods yet, you’re missing out on an amazing experience!
