R.I.P. Bernhard center, but this place is pretty nice too. It's very well organized, and the books and merchandise are actually in the same area, unlike at Bernhard. However, WMU likes to sell the merchandise way above msrp. I bought a polo shirt, and it was literally $84. That's enough to buy food for a week. To be fair, it was adidas and of very high quality, but still. They could definitely afford to lower the prices a bit.

We rented the ballroom at the Bernhard. And even though parking sucked (like most campus parking). The venue and catering staff were great.

I graduated in the late 80s. For the longest time it was hard to even but a simple Champion sweatshirt. In the last 10+ years the bookstore has transformed into the place to buy WMU gear. It rivals any school I have visited. Great place to browse and buy Western gear.

Best place to get students books, merch and tech.

My daughter has graduated and I decided to grab some WMU swag as a proud dad!! I found the perfect hat. But man, I wanted an exercise shirt but I can't justify paying for the merchandise license fees of underarmour and WMU! Not a fault of the store, but still...there must be $40 worth of merch fees stacked on those shirts.

Visited both bookstores at WMU today so my son could get everything he needs to start his fall semester. Great prices and excellent customer service at the merch store and the textbook store. The merch store has more choices for school supplies too.
