Befitting You Medical Supply

To whom it may concern: in a time when people mostly complain when things go wrong, I am writing today to commend you and your company for something that went splendidly right!!

About two months ago, my CPAP machine began displaying a message stating that "the motor has exceeded it's expected life."

I immediately made an appointment to see my doctor to get a prescription for a new machine.

A mix up at the doctor's office left them unsure of where to order the new CPAP from.

I spoke with Tom, at your company's Clarkston location, who went above and beyond to make sure that this got straightened out quickly.

Tom immediately sprung into action and worked with Bailey (at your Commerce location) to make sure that a CPAP could be available as soon as they received the paperwork from my doctors office.

In addition, Tom followed up directly with the office staff at my doctor's office to expedite delays which were taking place on the doctor's office side. They were trying to order my equipment from a different medical supply company, but Tom worked hard to make sure that they sent the order/prescription to Befitting You Medical Supply which was my preference. Within a day, Befitting You received the order and Tom followed up with Bailey.

Kudos to Bailey for her quick turnaround on this as well. She secured a machine for me and set it up per the doctor's prescription. She called me and within 24 hours from that point, I had my new CPAP!

I met with Bailey at the commerce township location and she walked me through the features, cleaning, and parts replacement schedule. She answered all my questions with a patient and friendly demeanor.

I'm sorry for the long message, but I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the fine, diligent, and timely teamwork that Tom and Bailey displayed.

As you know, a CPAP is a critical piece of medical equipment and going without one is both uncomfortable and risky to the patient. Because of Tom and Bailey, I got this resolved very quickly and I am extremely thankful and grateful.

I'm not sure where to start with the outstanding service and support I have received from Befitting You Medical Supply. I had total knee replacement and Befitting You made sure I had the ice therapy and cpm machine delivered, with an extensive tutorial, the day before my surgery. The associate that delivered the equipment gave me his number and told us he was available for phone support at any time, if I had questions. My surgery had some complications with scar tissue and I had to use their services a second time after my manipulation to break up the scar tissue. Befitting You Medical Supply received the prescription late and there was concern they wouldn't be able to deliver the equipment late on a Friday. Befitting You went out of their way, found a cpm machine and delivered it within 1 hour of me arriving home from the procedure! I am still navigating my recovery with more procedures due to the complicated nature of my surgery. My prescription expired but the owner found out I still needed to continue with the cpm machine and personally reached out to me to coordinate a solution to help me. I can't thank him, Tom, Alisa, Carla, and Brian enough for all the help. They went above and beyond anyone's expectations.

The day after my wife's knee surgery, we discovered that the cold therapy machine someone loaned us had sprung a leak. When I phoned Befitting You and explained the situation, Brian McGahey told me that they had a replacement cuff in stock, and that he could deliver it to our house that very afternoon. Obviously, time was of the essence for my wife's pain management, and Brian came through for us. On top of that, his price closely matched the cuffs that were listed online, where shipping would've taken 8 - 10 business days. I can't thank Brian enough for his quick response and friendly help!

Brian from BeFittingYou has been extremely helpful during my recovery from hip replacement surgery. He made a special effort to make sure that I was familiar with the cooling system and DVT prevention equipment he dropped off. The BFY staff was readily available to answer questions about the correct use of their equipment. I can say, without any reservations, that I was able to recover faster, with less discomfort, as a result of the care I received from BeFittingYou.

I picked up my new bi pap machine from Befitting you. I am so impressed with the high quality of service I received.
The machine came in quickly considering, all the issues with getting anything nowadays. A thank you to Greg Newman for contacting me throughout the process of getting the new machine. He kept me informed on the delivery of the machine. He was professional, friendly and polite.

The service I received when picking up the machine was awesome. Kelly Atkinson went over everything I needed to know She explained, in detail, how to operate every aspect of the machine. She answered my many questions.

Was able to get a needed brace for sports quickly. Staff was very helpful in sizing and how to adjust it. Very happy with the help I got from the friendly staff.

My doctor recommended this business after hip surgery. The device representative that came to my home to set up the equipment was excellent. Colin was very professional, very knowledgeable with great customer relations skills. I would give Colin 5 stars, but when I had questions regarding billing/diagnosis codes- the customer service representatives over the phone were not helpful and somewhat argumentive. Colin was good 👍

Foot brace for my husband was fine but this company is another example of the broken health care situation in this country where pricing and insurance is all smoke and mirrors. He needed a walking boot as well as a sleeping boot. Doctor pointed him down the hall where Befitting You could "fit him" for the walking boot. They asked his size and gave him the boot. Then we went online for the sleeping boot - only to discover we also could have got the same exact walking boot for 1/4 the price. Sure, it was convenient to get it same day but not worth 4x the going price. Amazon would have delivered the same thing 2 days later for $60 while we paid $250 out of pocket. I wouldn't blink or complain about paying a little bit more - even $120 is fair - I get they are not Amazon... but at some point you are just taking advantage of people who don't realize they have choices.

Am soo disappointed with this company.they sent a bill after 6mths with no explanation and when i called them they said i should check with my insurance company.Then i received a reminder bill stating its overdue??.Poor customer service.I won’t recommend it to anybody

They will charge you 3 times the cost of the medical equipment you need. And when you have proof you called them 7 times over 5 weeks and the person you left messages form is no longer there, they say you waited too long to call. Horrible people. Horrible company.

I received a back brace from these guys and it worked nice (it is really just a glorified weight belt) as it should. They charged my insurance company $1,499 which is an amazingly ridiculous joke. This thing should not cost more than $150. Any way I am getting no response and it is randomly popping open after only a month. Did I mention they charged $1499??????? crazy.

Update....I just searched my brace online BAJA 637 and found it at another medical supply store for $240. So I could buy it for $240 but they charged my insurance company $1499.

Went to Befitting You Medical Supply for a left arm shoulder sling for post rotator cuff surgery. Went back a week later to see what adjustment could be done since neck piece was pulling on neck just under ear. After second adjustment I was put in touch with Pam, a manager I was told. Sent her two photos hoping to resolve this issue. No help whatsoever! Was unpleasant and only offered to have another "adjustment" done. Looking at the other reviews I see that there are many that are not happy and have given a low rating.
