We were very pleased from our first visit in the store. Removal of the old and installation of of the new carpet was done at our convenience.

UPDATE: When I stopped in and spoke with the owner, he was mortified hearing my story, came out to our home the next day to assess what needed done, then came back the day after then and finished the work beautifully, he did not charge us for the work and he apologized profusely.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
They sent a guy out to add tile in our kitchen where a wall microwave was. The hung the tile w/our remaining leftover tile, the guy was teaching his kid, it’s all crooked, some are backwards. They said they’d be back in a couple days to put in the grout. Never came back. I tried for over 18 MONTHS to get an answer when they’d come back, I went to Modern Flooring and spoke with Mike Smith in person, I’ve spoken with the manager. Nothing. It’s been over 2 years now and finally talked another company into putting in the grout. It will look awful as the grout is light gray so the lines will be very crooked. They have done NOTHING to fix the crooked tiles. They also reattached one tile in our bathroom and left it taped without grout. I finally pulled the tape off but there’s no grout. The only reason I can think of is they know they used the last of our tile in that section and that tile has been discontinued. They do not want to pay to redo the whole backsplash.

A few years ago we had Modern Flooring redo our kitchen floor. We had a couple of issues recently and Steve came out to review them with us. He determined that the material was flawed. Their fix made the floor look even better. This is a company that you want to do business with. They do good work and stand behind what they sell.

After looking for flooring at the big box chains and the standard online options I found Modern Flooring America. I am so glad I visited their showroom. They offer an impressive selection in all types of flooring which is a far superior quality than I found at the chain stores. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

The owner, Steve Davis, came to estimate what it would take to do a small job on our rug, which had a raised area, and decided he would fix it himself. He did. Excellent work, excellent timing, excellent demeanor.
