Blush Salon + Spa

I have been going to Blush for my hair for 4 years. I've got coarse, thick Asian hair which I've been told it takes some extra expertise to manage, but Blush has that expertise and has done an amazing job with my hair. I went from straight up black to platinum blonde, kept the blonde for about a year, and then have been copper for nearly 3 years and did it all at Blush, first with Searra and then with Megan. They listen to my hair goals and give their knowledge and input as well to achieve the best look for me. My hair has been healthy throughout all of the dying and root touch-ups. Meghan also recently gave me curtain bangs, which I love! The place is always clean and the decor is really cute. Making appointments is easy. And I think prices are very reasonable!

Blush is a spa unlike any of its kind in Kalamazoo. It's clean, welcoming, and the service from anyone you see is top notch. No matter what service you go for you get to utilize their locker room, men and women separate, the shower, and a steam room! They have a relaxation room you wait in before your service and it's a wonderful place to relax and keep the vibe going after. Definitely recommend coming here if you want to feel pampered and valued. Plus you can park in the ramp located directly across the Radisson and parking is validated! Love this team and all that they do to make every individual feel comfortable and happy.

Had an appointment today at 11 that I almost missed and the salon still allowed me to come in despite being almost an hour late. Everyone at the salon was super kind and helpful, from the front desk to the stylists! I had Kendylle do my hair, and she was the sweetest person and definitely exceeded my expectations! i am very satisfied with the work she did, will definitely be back again in the future so she can do my hair again! :)

I’ve been seeing Megan for haircuts for a couple of years now and she’s always done an amazing job! If I ask her for just a teeny tiny trim, she seriously gives me a teeny tiny trim. Shes professional and talented and multiple of my friends see her too now.

Blush has a great atmosphere, too. It’s really cute and clean in there. I highly recommend!

The first two times I was here, I didn't have a good experience. Staff were friendly, but the stylist I saw for my haircut did not listen to me, and did some stuff I really did NOT want done with my hair without asking or even informing me before she did it. I was seriously angry! I swore I'd never come back here But I decided not to throw in the towel completely, and booked with a stylist named Megan. She's the polar opposite to the first person I worked with here. Megan was great: very patient with my questions, gave her honest and candid opinions when I asked her for them, took time to explain what she was thinking of doing and why, and then doing exactly what we'd discussed and agreed on. I'm very glad I didn't entirely give up on this salon, or I'd never have met her. I plan to come back to her again.

Rosie is amazing! She exceeds my expectations every time for both cut and color! Not only is she super talented but sweet too.

My first visit was today! I can’t say enough great things about this salon and spa.I got the best facial by Kelsie and by far the best. Not only was she great she also cares about her clients skin care needs and gives advice on how to maintain. I also got a haircut done by Rosie and love love her as well. I had about 9 inches cut off into a long bob hairstyle. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and also took time to make adjustments per my needs. This staff is incredible, I could go on and on this place is reasonable and they truly care about their clients. I can’t wait to go back, this is going to be my new place going forward. Megan was a superstar. She tamed my thick curly hair and got me ready for my event. After a night of sweating and dancing in a humid ballroom, my hair miraculously held up! She is a great stylist and does amazing work. Could not recommend her enough

Such a cute salon, such a cute stylist. Rosie is such an amazing artist, and so professional. we talked about what I wanted done and she really listens and gave me exactly what I had in mind. I love being blonde and she definitely has a knack for it. Def will be back.

Let me start off by saying I am SUPER particular when it comes to my hair! With my barber being on leave, I had to branch out and try someone new. I called Blush, and Megan got me in RIGHT away. She is super friendly, and an amazing stylist. She was very thorough in her consultation, and was accommodating in doing my eyebrows when I forgot to book the service. She introduced me to a new product (and explained how to use it) WITHOUT trying to sell me on it, which I got anyway but it was nice to not be pressured into it. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Megan, or anyone on the Blush team!

I had taken me over 10 years to find a hair salon I can finally trust 🙌 I am incredibly thankful for this amazing team!. 👏

Thank you, Blush, for making my experience as a transfer client a smooth one! I was nervous because my eyes had a bad reaction with the previous salon I was with. However, Chelsea did a beautiful job and took her time. I appreciate the accommodations made to ensure my new full set was complete. Happy to report I had no bad reactions and I loveee my lashes! The staff was super professional and friendly and made my experience a great one. The salon itself is really nice inside and they even give you a cute after care kit.

Chelsea is hands down one of the most talented and incredible professionals I’ve had the pleasure to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable and tailors each experience to your personal needs. She is welcoming, kind and passionate on delivering outstanding service. I highly recommend setting up an appointment, you will not be disappointed! She’s amazing!!

I first came to blush in December and liked my hair but wasn’t in love with it. They had me come back in January and did something completely different. Everyone is so kind and they truly do an amazing job to make sure you’re happy! Definitely come here for hair needs!

I booked an appointment from another state not knowing what I would get for my son's wedding, and Abby was amazing! She did my makeup and hair and talked me thru the whole process and made me feel so comfortable. When I arrived at the wedding, both of my sons and daughter in laws LOVED IT!! They said I looked beautiful and that made the rest of my evening. Thank you again Abby! You were a huge success! 🙂❤

Blush is hands down the best Spa in town. The treatment you get is amazing. It is an escape from the outside world in our little town. The small details make this place worth it. From the start you are warmly greeted and you coat is hung for you. You are then offered a beverage either from Starbucks or Burdicks (who has amazing cocktails). The whole team is amazing, but I will add a few shout outs for the ladies that are always there to help me acheive what I am looking for.

Shout out to Ashley who is queen of the blondes. Literally took my hair from black box die to a stunning platinum that still looks completely natural. She is also not afraid to tell you no when she has to, to protect the integrity of your hair. But then she will give you a detailed plan to make your perfect hair happen while keeping it healthy.

Chelsea is the lash master! Be careful, once you start you may not be able to stop! She also does facials and waxing. I have super sensitive skin and she works with me to ensure that we are using the right products for me. She even reached out to me after a treatment to ensure that I wasn't having any issues with my skin.

Longest review ever im sure! But I owe one after the years of service this awesome team has provided.

I love Blush! I have been seeing Ashley for 12 years and she is wonderful. She has great experience working with curly hair and is very on trend and able to give me the best style and cut for my hair/face. She rocks!

I had Abby to dye my hair, and she was very considerate and super experienced! We are right on track for what my hair goals are, and I left the salon feeling great! Price is on the high end but it's worth the quality and exemplary customer service!

I have been here twice, I usually do a big chop and color once a year and blush salon has been my go to for the past two years! I have found it hard to find a salon that can lighten asian hair without it being brassy, I definitely recommend Searra M. I’ve loved my highlights every time.
