Godwin's Furniture and Mattress

Our sales lady was friendly, showed us to the items we were interested in, and left us to browse on our own. This was greatly appreciated. She was there to answer questions if needed. She was easy to work with. We ended up making a large purchase.

We get all of our furniture from Godwins. They are a family owned, local business (not corporate) and the family works inside themselves. They are not pushy salespeople, but are very knowledgeable about their products! Very nice people!

Great selection of furniture. We found the perfect reclining theater loveseat. Wonderful sales lady helped us close the deal along with a matching recliner.

A lovely store, very nice furniture, table and chair sets, mattresses. Salesman was helpful and not pushing. Let us look like we wanted and only checked on us a couple of times. We liked him and the store.

They have sooo many things to see there especially their rocker recliners. Their so nice and helpful also. Boy if you can't find a chair there you won't find one nowhere else. I bought a power recliner there and can't wait to get it.

Great experience buying furniture at Godwin's! A few months ago, I ordered a sectional and unfortunately had some issues and was not happy with it. I couldn't have asked for better service in completing an exchange, and look forward to getting my new couches next week! Yes, it can be a long wait when you order furniture, but this is out of their control and is just the current nature of the business (the reason I went to them in the first place was because I was tired of multiple delays on a couch I ordered online). Also, when chatting with the delivery guys, they spoke extremely highly of their experience working for Godwin's which made me appreciate this company so much more. We definitely won't be shopping anywhere else for furniture!

Tina was amazing! She helped us find the perfect couch for our family. The store has a wide selection of furniture and has a little something for every price range! I will definitely go back to Tina for my next furniture purchase!!

My husband told me to just go pick furniture for the living room. Jean from Mt. Pleasant store, and I looked at different pieces but kept going back to the ones that were pictured in the paper. Since it even looked better in person, I bought it, with Jean's approval LOL. My husband is thrilled with our pick and so is all our company who ask where I got it. I feel like Jean spent so much time with me, I should invite her over for coffee to see how great it looks!

Wow! I finally bought a new mattress after looking for a long time. Why Godwin's? Simple answer...her name is Brittney Block. What a great sales person! She is knowledgeable and makes you feel right at home shopping there! The co owner even shook my hand and thanked me for my business! Customer Service is A++++.

Really like the high quality brands Godwin's offers, I've made a few mistakes buying junk from other stores. When it comes to furniture you want things to last, and you get what you pay for… Also the warm welcome from Godwin's employees, and overall experience compared to young college kids is a huge relief. TRYSHA INOSENCIO was the sales lady I recently purchased an item through. Very easy going she didn't pressure me or rush me with my decision, also knew information about different products and brands without just reading off the tag. She helped me make a very informed decision on my purchase and I left very satisfied with my shopping experience at Godwin's!

Dora is a treasure! Great prices, wonderful service, and none of the bait-and-switch/other dishonest tactics I've learned to associate with other furniture businesses. I will and have come back again and again. So far the MP Godwins has furnished 4 rooms in the past two homes I've owned and each time I have been happy with the result.

Great selection of Lazy Boy furniture. The salespeople were nice and actually let us look around. I custom ordered a sectional, the delivery was fast, and it looks great! Ill be going back to buy a mattress.

Just moved to MI and needed some new furniture to fill out the new house, shopped around town and then came back to Godwins 1) best prices and good amount of sales 2) the saleswoman Trysha knows her products and is super friendly. Bought an Amish table, 2 bed sets and walked out paying far less than what I was willing to pay. Will be back when I’m in he market to fill my basement game room

Art van messed up an order we had so we went to godwins and I’m more than happy that we did. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Today the delivery guys delivered the last bit of our order and they went above and beyond!

Was looking for a bed and went to 3 other stores where I got hassled and harrased to the point of leaving. I went here in a very bad mood and the staff here where so great and helpful that it turned my whole day around. Highly recommend this store!!! Great people
