Keag Store

We love the Keag store! My wife and I were there for my birthday breakfast back in February and we've been going about every other week since.

Crab meat sandwiches was delicious 😋

The best tiny maine diner food you can legally find. There are others, but they are completely top secret. Until the clearance ceiling cracks, go to the "Gig."
The public landing across the street is epic to bird watch. There is a family of cranes and I have snapped a black belted king fisher, as well as terns, cormorants, geese, gulls, etc... if you don't get yer cheeseburgers here, you are a nature hating communist.
Reasonable prices.

Cute little store on the street. Had their signature crab roll and IT WAS THE BEAT CRAB ROLL EVER!!!! Incredible! My wife took these photos.

Good Basic food ,great prices, can't beat the view. Friendly staff 1/2 have been there for over 20 yrs. Caters to all ....tourists to fishermen. Still local still good for breakfast all day. Best crab roll.

Cozy, small town country store with a kitchen. Friendly owners, good food. Whole place feels like a time capsule from before the internet.

Another wonderful lobster roll.and It was really fresh because we watched someone pick out the lobster meat for the sandwich s. They always are great.

Great for breakfast or lunch, and much more than you might expect. Being it is the only place for miles, they should have a bit of something for most needs.

Stumbled into the Keag hoping they had crabmeat rolls that were decent. 3 large crabmeat rools later I can confirm their food is excellent! The crabmeat was perfect, fresh and sweet. Mayo was just a binder, not a filler and rolls were toasted to perfection. Highly recommend a trip out if you are passing through Thomaston!

Just go there... EVERYTHING is SUPERB!! Can't miss on the crab rolls... they're DA BOMB!!

The Keag store is iconic. I grew up in South Thomaston, and would go into the store with my friends barefoot, and wielding a handful of change so we could gorge ourselves on penny candy. We were raised on Keag pizza! Today it has the same charm as then, as well as the best damned lobster roll around. If you want fancy, go somewhere else. If you want good, authentic, hometown cooking, and to chat with REAL Mainers, you go to the Keag.

Friendly, local, down home place! Ordered at counter. We sat at one of a few tables and order brought to us when ready. Fresh, delicious, and filling. Would definitely return!

I love the Ruben sandwich. It is very good! The pasta salad taste like a good Italian it is delicious.

Always wicked good food and service. The girls in the morning are so fun to talk with. Excellent service and great jokes flying around the store. I will be going there till I pass on probably! Lol! I love all ya ladies, they made me feel like family!

The crab roll is the main reason to visit this authentic general store. A generous portion of crabmeat (thick with mayo) and a buttered roll make for a savory sandwich that comes with a side of classic potato chips. Enjoy your lunch on one of the picnic tables across the street with a peaceful waterfront view.

I can remember going to the Keag store MANY times a week as far back as my memory goes, I moved out of state at age 16 and just recently moved back about a month ago. The Keag is still just as I remember it, homey and with AMAZING food, friendly staff, family friendly setting with the BEST pizza I've ever had!

Especially in the summer this is about the best place you can get a sandwich order near anything in Seafood or meat. Sometimes they have terrific daily specials. The view is spectacular from me to tables across the street.

Locally famous for great sandwiches & pizza. Always an awesome place to meet up with friends. Picnic tables are available across the street at the public landing.

Wonderful place. Saw live lobsters being sold, along with sandwiches. Place was busy but every one in the store had a smile, snd the prices are reasonable . Enjoy.
