Louie's Corner Bar

We tried this place for the first time on a late Sunday night. With most places closing early that day it was nice to find a place that stays open later. After eating at this place we cannot wait to go back. The pizza is some of the best pizza we have had in the area. I also loved the chili. It is the best chili I have had in a restaurant outside of Texas. It was the right amount of smoke and heat. We will come back for just those two items. Everything else was good, the rest of our food and our server.

Great experience and it was our first time in. Got the crab dip with Flatbread for our appetizer (which could have been a meal in itself bit definitely big enough to share) and a BBQ chicken pizza for dinner. Both were excellent! Collin was our server and he did a great job. Will definitely be back.

Louie's is legendary in Kalamazoo for their burgers at the original restaurant. Our waitress suggested the pizza. We had the garbage pizza and the Louie's French dip and the smoked gouda crab dip. They were all awesome. The smoked gouda crab dip may be the best dip I have ever had, it's that good. And the foccaccia it comes with is excellent as well. The atmosphere is really cool unless you don't like real stuffed animals. You'll love this place.

Best weekend brunch in Kalamazoo. Bloody Mary Bar is 2nd to none. Best Bacon I have ever had. Caramelized in syrup and a slight kick makes it a perfect sweet to go with a spicy bloody. Breakfast pizza was perfect. Incredible sausage, loved the sausage gravy and perfect amount of cheese.

Great atmosphere! Stopped in from out of town on a local recommendation and was not disappointed. Beer cheese was yummy! Live music, friendly waitress and awesome animal decor inside!

Great food and service! Went here for lunch with my daughter while we were out running and the servers where so sweet! Food was delicious and hot! This was our first time here and we will defiantly be back!

I had the steak and the Calzone both were very good. I like on Friday Night they have live music. So many places have no live music right now. Summer should be fun when the lakes are up and running.

If you love pickles and pizza, try the pickle pizza. I love how they have classics on the menu but fun and surprising things as well. I will be coming back for that pizza!

Friends and I come here for trivia on Monday nights. It's a lot of fun. The food has always been really good too, especially the calzones and burgers.

We stopped in for a couple drinks on a Thursday and had a great experience. The waitress was friendly, checked on is regularly, and was quick whenever we needed anything even though it was pretty busy. We didn't get food tonight, but have eaten there in the past and have never been disappointed. The pizza and wings are always a big hit with our party. Highly recommend giving Louie's a shot!

This place is a great. Food was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Great place for food. A go to for my family. Always has good food and ready when it is suppose to be. They have an awesome gluten free pizza! One of the few places that has a good gluten free dough that is not considerably more expensive and is a good size! My daughter loves to go in and look at the decor. Look forward to eating in there with her soon!

My family recommended Louie's in Texas Corners. I had been to the other location which is more of a dive bar. Corner bar was very clean, modern, friendly, and welcoming. We were greeted with some great specials and enjoyed the crab dip. The menu had a great range of delicious sounding options. I will for sure visit again and again.

Quality food, decent prices. Decent drink selection. Aleyna our server was very attentive. Perfect family place. The teenagers had no trouble finding something they would eat and that says a lot. Watched management walk the floor and help out. That says a lot about the culture. Kudos to you all!

Maybe it was because we were there shortly after opening, but the love was not in the food preparation. We also received "drive by" checking on our food by our server. Glad that this was not our first visit! We know how good the food and service usually is!

Absolutely great restaurant! Unique and extremely tasty food but what makes it is the service. The bartenders, servers, and managers are all so attentive, hardworking, and so sweet. They make every customer feel like they’re the only one in the restaurant!

Also if you like food with a tad of a kick for spice definitely try their crab dip, my fiancé and I absolutely LOVE it!! I would give more then 5 stars if I could.

Husband discovered their "garbage pie" , thin crust. We dream about this pizza.

Excellent food with unique offerings including award winning chili.and huge onion rings. Delicious!

Hidden Gems of Kalamazoo. I had the good fortune to eat at Louis in Texas Corners this evening. The food was delicious. I had the chili and it was the best ever!

The wait staff are the most friendly of any restaurant I have visited in the last year!

Food is reasonably priced, tastes great, with Friendly attentive service.

Jenna the manager came by to make sure I was having a great dining experience.

We had 12 in our party divided up into two tables. Our waitress, Madison, was great. She took all of our drink orders right away, explained the specials and was very courteous and friendly.

Southwest egg roles were a hit as were the bison, wagyu and venison burger, the Cubano, chicken strips and the pub dip, incredible! Try their homemade onion rings and ranch dressing, awesome!

The manager, Collin, checked in on us several times in a meaningful manner, not because he had to. Another bonus when management truly cares about your experience. Makes it easy for us to come back and spend our money when appreciated.

Overall a very positive experience, food quality was excellent, Madison was very efficient and friendly which added to our great experience!
