growing up we always called in the "channel stop".. and then it was vacant for a few years :(
Shorts offers good food and a wide variety of beverages with the convenience of being right on the channel. Docking used to always be a challenge, as there were about 3-4 parallel spots to pull up to; but Shorts has added more docking and have dock attendants on the weekends to assist boaters with coming/going. If you're on the chain, I definitely encourage making Shorts a pitstop on your journeys!!

I was just there with my son after picking him up from Kimble Camp. The service and ice cream were great. Oh... I picked up an adult beverage too. I am thrilled to see a small business on the chain so I don't have to drive to Fremont, Coldwater or Angola.

If you're looking for high end food and service you might want to go to an actual city place. If you're looking for quick convenient food, Shorts works is it!

This place is awesome!! Can't go there and expect to grocery shop but the menu there is awesome and I've never had a bad sub made there. Lunch and dinner at Shorts is totally recommended
