Schindy’s at Diamond Lake

Good pizza, good beer, and good people. It's a bar/restaurant/store combo. They also sell recreation fuel & are just down the road from the dirtbike trail that crosses 3 mile. Go check em out.

The only thing i would change is to add more snacks to the store section and maybe offer a coupon to all of the weekend rentals around the lake so people know you guys exist when they come from out of town. 🫡

This has to be the best pizza I've had in a very long time. The thin crust is baked perfectly and toppings are perfectly fresh and enough.

Stop in on Monday where it's buy one get one half price! That sealed it for us getting two pizzas. That means a late night snack.

Great food, friendly service with locals willing to chat and share their puppies!

Full bar and a very extensive pizza menu. I have no idea what else they offer but the owner stopped by saying they are looking to add desserts...yes please!

Prices may be a bit higher but honestly the quality is above par, so worth the bit extra. $56 for both of us, two pizzas, 3 beers and 1 local beer during happy hour.

Parking is ok, might be hanky during summer months but again so worth it!

Atmosphere is small, rustic and oh so friendly!

Great atmosphere in the middle of nowhere but the word is out. This place is busy busy. Friendly staff very welcoming. They also stock many local michigan made product in their little shopping section. Great pizza.

The pizza was great! Can't wait to get back up that way and try other food on the menu. They also have a Buffalo hot sauce/wing sauce that's great on the pizza!

I found Schindy’s by accident when I was up late at night browsing on my phone in bed to see what establishments were around us as we are still pretty new to the area. I first spotted Diamond Lake on Google map and then saw Schindy’s. When I saw that everyone was raving about the thin crust pizza, I wouldn’t shut up about it to my husband. We finally went Friday night as we’re up here at our cabin for the weekend from Chicago and we fell in love!!! Best of all, it was tavern cut…exactly the way I like it. Eric is SO kind and he’s such amazing human being. The entire staff was nothing but nice and we will certainly be returning again very soon!

Stopped by to check out the pizza I saw on the local news and it didn't disappoint! Ordered the dumpster pizza and it was fantastic; tavern style thin crust and large veggie toppings enhanced the taste and made eating a joy. While it's more expensive than other pizza places, it's worth every penny to taste their delicious take on a staple food that is more than just filler food.

Stopped in to use the restroom after a real estate showing and ended up staying and having some food and a drink! Amazing customer service! Amazing pizza! Cook made an exception and created a spinach salad due to my husband's diet restrictions. This is an eclectic dining experience with a full service bar, pizza, ice cream, wine tastings and party store grocery items. Was very impressed with it all. Loved the decor and that they support Michigan local products and businesses!

We just drove up to Schindy's and were delighted with the experience. The pizza was one of the best we have had in years. The atmosphere was genuine and friendly, authenticly real. We left feeling good about the time spent and made a commitment to return in the very near future. This place is awesome.

Very good thin crust pizza. We got the "Dumpster Diver" (essentially their supreme) and it was extremely good. Fresh ingredients. The stuffed garlic sticks were absolutely amazing.

The pizzas are thin crust and their pizza sauce has a little bit of a bite to it, so if you are not a fan of thin crust pizza or prefer a sweeter sauced pizza, this might not be your ideal pizza, but me, my wife, and our 14 year old all loved their pizza.

Long drive from Grand Haven. We'll worth the trip. I tried the Dumpster Diver Pizza. It tasted as good as it looked. Make the trip and try it. Eric and Diane make you feel at home. Great job guys.

This place is great. The store is cute and I'm definitely gonna be walking up here to get some ice cream in the summer. The diamond lake pizza is amazing.🤩 I'll more than likely be having a drink at the bar too.

Enjoyed an amazing dinner tonight at Shindys !!! Worth the drive (from Big Rapids) Great pizza choices and delicious Calzones!!! The cheese bread is over the top!! Hats off to Eric and the staff!

A warm & charming spot with a lake view. Staff & owners are super friendly & take pride in their work. Delicious pizza with fresh, crafty & thoughtful ingredients.

This place is number. One!! I am a Pizza conasur,,,i eat pizza every Friday and this Pizza is one of my Favorite, I got the "Take and Bake" yep believe it or not and it work out great Better than.can believe,,Dumpster, and I believe Hunter,,,I will do be there Friday, in fact I can't Wait and might not,,,my mouth is watering and I have the munchies,,, and it's a great ride,,

Above the food, the service was absolutely top notch. For sure some, if not the best service we have ever had. Even the owners stopped by to check on us and engage in very friendly and fun conversation.

My wife and I had pizza there tonight. The pizza was very good, all fresh toppings, mushrooms were awesome. The place was packed and the servers were a bit overwhelmed but, they still did fine. Again GREAT PIZZA!!!

Sweet place. Good pizza, lots of wine choices , store, ice cream, and a full bar.

It's out of the way and always worth the drive. The quaint outside speaks not of the Wonka-esk pizza heaven that awaits inside. It is the neighborhood hangout for anyone within a daylights worth of travel.

The pizza was far away the best I have ever had but more than that the amazing staff and excellent service made it an unforgettable experience.
