Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Minneapolis Shakopee

My partner and I stayed here for five nights and we had a fantastic time. Location is a short drive from places like Valleyfair, Renaissance Festival, Mall of America, etc. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, so big thanks to them!

We had a wonderful stay here, we arrived for 2 nights very late and we were well taken care of. We didnt try thr breakfast or in hotel amenities because we had a busy time but all was very clean.

We stayed overnight for a nearby family event.
We used the app to check in (our only "issue" was that staff could not get the app key to work, so we had to use a card key. a very minor inconvenience.)
We had a pleasant overnight stay, and plenty of options for the breakfast (the biscuits were cold, but that could have just been unfortunate timing, as in, they may have just filled the steamer).
Everything was nice and clean.
Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.
Other than normal wear and tear, the Inn was in good shape and we didn't have any problems that required maintenance or staff attention.

I stayed here this past weekend to attend a gala held at Mystic Lake Casino. I wanted to avoid paying the casino priced hotel rooms so I opted for this hotel. The hotel is in a great location and close to food, gas stations, and shopping! It was a 10 min drive to the casino and was a straight shot to get to it so that was convenient as well! The hotel was very clean and modern. Bedding was superb! Breakfast had a good mix of fresh/hot food.

Location is great, near gas stations and stores if you need something. Check in was fast and painless and the rooms are clean and nice. Comfortable beds, roomy fridge, and lots of storage space. Quiet too, even when it's busy here. Spacious workout room, nice lobby, pool available and open til 10. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for two nights for business. I really liked the layout of my room and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and there were no noise issues. Front desk staff was helpful. A coworker pointed out that the pool is really small so keep this in mind if you are looking to book a family stay and spend a lot of time poolside. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Spacious and clean rooms. Enjoyed the bed, and bathroom was on point. Usual hateabul mini fridge. Breakfast was great, we had bacon that morning!! I would suggest asking for a even number room, as this faces greenery rather than the other hotel. Far enough off 169 that it is quiet. Pool is pretty small, and no hot tub or sauna. Close to Canterbury downs and several good restaurants. I came to visit again because of good rates for a fantastic suite. In shakopee, I would say: one of the best places!

We loved our stay here. The location is excellent, right off the bike trail. The hotel is recently updated and clean. Staff was all very friendly. The breakfast selection was extensive. The rooms allow for personal AC control and are very quiet.

Very nice place to stay! Quiet and comfortable, with wonderful, helpful staff. I was actually able to sleep through the night which is unusual when I'm away from home. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and the room was extremely clean and very nicely laid out. The entire facility was great and of course their morning breakfast is standard across most Marriotts and was pretty good all things considering. Just a few minutes away from mystic lake casino so it's a very good location if you want a decent hotel with a very friendly staff and a very clean facility.

I had a great stay with family,including grandchildren under 4. The furniture in the suite was well made for family pizza time and I used the second TV in the suite area while children napped. No oversized lounge chair. Bathtub/shower in the suite ,nice shower in the double room. Friendly and smart staff. Breakfast was okay . Coffee mediocre. There are no coffee shops or restaurants within walking distance ...not yet anyway.

This is a clean clean clean hotel. The morning breakfast 2 steps above other hotels. Someone was really thinking. I
Where you sat for breakfast, there were electronics plugins!!! This was easy to get to for us out-of-towners. Applebee's, Walgreens & Target plus others are all abt 1 block away. The room layout was nice. Nice decor. Really comfy king bed. Plenty of hot water. Big shower. In-shower shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. Bathroom counter space was plentiful. No crusty corners in there. TV operation was functional & a big TV. Good sized desk. Plenty of outlets to charge up electronics. In-room coffee maker/coffee, microwave & fridge. The microwave was a great amenity. There was outside seating & a workout room (we didn't use). Traffic noise was minimal.

Nice hotel. Stayed here 3 nights while I was in town for work. The staff was awesome! Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom is huge. Amazing shampoo and conditioner! Except it takes forever to get hot water. I could even sign into my netflix account on the 55' TV.

What a fantastic team of employees this location has. Every single one of them was kind and went above & beyond to accommodate my large family spanning several rooms both day and night! The rooms are clean and crisp, the amenities wonderful (breakfast and pool!) recommend!!

I can’t believe we only paid $150 for two nights to stay here. I am extremely picky about the cleanliness of hotels and this place shocked me. Immediately I pull back the sheets of hotel beds to check for hair or anything else suspicious, I didn’t fine even a piece of lint. Not one thing gave me a red flag that the room was unclean and I looked hard. The beds and pillows were comfy. The shower head actually was big and had good pressure- plus they have Paul Mitchell shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in BIG bottles. What more could you ask for? We are here doing the coronavirus so obviously many things were closed (workout area, pool, breakfast) so I can’t imagine how much better this place is with everything opened. Thanks for an awesome stay, we will be back!

This is now my 3rd stay at this location recently And when I am working at the Renaissance festival this will definitely be my go to hotel. The staff is super friendly and always available. They work hard to ensure that your stay is perfect. The hotel is clean And it feels like a home away from home.

Loved the cleanliness. Served great breakfast. The daytime host was very helpful in everything, even brought extra towels to our room

I had a great stay ! The rooms were super clean, as well as all other areas of the hotel ! The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating . The beds were very comfortable . The best part - check out isn’t till noon . I would stay here again for sure !

The check-in process was 5 stars. Rooms are clean and set up nice. There are plenty of amenities for exercise and fun. Staff is all friendly.
