Wells Dental makes me feel so comfortable and welcomed every time I come in :) I have some dental anxiety and everyone does a wonderful job making sure I’m okay and they’re the sweetest people!

I don't get excited to visit the dentist, but I've had to go 4 times in the last 6 months! Every experience at Wells Dental has been wonderful. The office staff is organized and efficient. Communication has been great. The vibe of the office is professional, but personable, fun, and friendly. Everyone is incredibly nice and polite. They genuinely care about you. Dr. Palmer has been a great dentist to work with. Every time I am in her chair, I feel safe and comfortable. She is a great communicator and is very thorough with her procedures. She makes sure I know what they are doing, why they are doing it, and provides honest feedback on what I can expect after the procedures and in the coming days. She is a younger dentist, so I am hopeful she will be my life long dentist.

One of the first things I did after moving back to Maine in July, was to check google reviews for various personal care providers in the area. That research paid off! I had the most pleasant first appointment at Wells Dental, after leaving a practice I had been with over a decade in the Monadnock region of NH. From the friendly front desk organizer Rose, to the legendary hygienist Bonnie, and the humble charm of Dr. Andrew Rutter, I knew I had found ‘my people’. Professional, approachable, well educated staff and an impeccably clean office environment, make this a practice one I am grateful to be a part of and entrust with my continued dental care. I recommend without hesitation!

I am one of those people who is not only afraid to go to the dentist, (even for a cleaning), but I also have a low pain threshold. My previous MA dentist retired, and I wanted a local dentist in Wells where I live 6 months out of the year. Everyone at Wells Dental is outstanding! From the lovely women at the desk who guide you through making an appointment, sending any forms electronically prior to your appointment, to Bonnie the hygienist, who not only did a fantastic job walking me through the X-rays and thorough cleaning, but taught me the best way to keep up my daily hygiene! I also had the pleasure of being cared for by Dr. Palmer and Nicole, a dynamic dental duo! I needed a new crown for a broken tooth. I had absolutely ZERO pain, and they demonstrated such kindness and sensitivity, while walking me through every step. This practice is amazing with state of the art technology and equipment (even a pillow for my neck and sunglasses!) while being so sterile and worry free. I am now a year round patient who will drive during the off season from MA because of this phenomenal dental practice.

So far it has been a very pleasant experience. All the staff is super friendly and the doctors are very professional and gentle during procedures.

This place is the best. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable…I was not a big fan of the dentist. Now, my kids (6 and 9) and I, look forward to our visits. Krista, after a polite scold about my bad habits, does the best job cleaning my teeth. They have excellent toys for the kids. Dr. Rutter and Dr. Palmer both explain what is going on currently, and what may need to be done down the road.

Going to Wells Dental was truly a wonderful experience ! I am not exactly a fan of going to the dentist , but this is and exceptional team . I have to say that everyone at the office is friendly and helpful . I saw Dr. Palmer and she was great ! Good examination and very kind and gentle . I never thought I would say that I am looking forward to a follow up visit , but I am ! I highly recommend this Dental office . Thank You Dr. Palmer and Dr Rutter , it is a pleasure to have you all as my Dental team .

Friendly, warm, and comfortable. I live in Maine but work out of state each day. Wells Dental is able to provide early morning appointments, a huge benefit for me. I'm currently working on a second crown in a short period of time. The experience has been wonderful and pain free. I highly recommend them :)

My whole family goes to Wells Dental, Dr Rutter is the best and took amazing care of my son after an accident and he broke his front teeth. Krista is our hygienist and she does great job.

Wells Dental provides Wells families with very friendly, convenient, and highly competent dental care. My dentist, Dr. Margaret Palmer, is great. Wells Dental is a local dental practice owned and operated by local professionals - not part of a chain with potluck dentists and hygienists.

I feel very confident in the care I receive from the staff at Wells Dental. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My concerns are always met with respect, and they always put my mind at ease. In my opinion, they are the best of the best.

I love coming to wells dental! Always super friendly. I asked all about the equipment and how the x-ray machine worked and Krista gladly nerded out with me for a couple min. Dr. Rutter loves to talk about his plans for the office, and how he is going to make it awesome, for example the artwork in the lobby; make sure to ask the ladies at the front desk about those. I never feel shamed for neglecting my teeth for over a decade. Heck I may even start flossing regularly who knows. Excellent place, thanks again! The picture is for you krista haha.

To say I was pleased with my initial visit would be an understatement. My attitude went from dread to delight!! Who says that after a dental appointment?? From Tina at reception, the hygienist Krista and finally Dr Palmer, I was treated with the utmost respect and gentleness! I had some issues and they explained all my options and we came up with a plan. And the frosting on the cake is that they are just a couple blocks from my house!! Am so glad I found you!!❤

Very happy for my hometown that Dr Rutter is practicing in Wells! He’s been our family dentist for 6 years at his New Hampshire location & we have only positive experiences —great ethics and great dental skills! Highly recommend.
