Martha’s genuine and warm spirit immediately brings you into a centered and peaceful space for development and learning. She generously hosted our Girl Scout troop and taught them about equine facilitated learning, what that means, and what it is like to learn alongside horses. Our troop loved every second, and it was the most focused and content that I had ever seen some of them. This is a wonderful hidden gem in our community that so many people could benefit from, in any type of self-journey of learning, healing, or discovery!

My daughter loved her experience working with Martha. She gained valuable insight into the relationship between people and horses and became much more comfortable being around them. Martha was able to teach some great life lessons by relating real life experiences to the way that horses respond. My daughter and I both loved being at the stable with Martha who is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Thank you for everything, Martha!

I was a student of Martha's (with Pegasus Path) while doing a 6 month long learning cohort. Martha is an incredible teacher. She shows patience, understanding and empathy while also going through the material really well. She is very passionate with what she teaches and cares deeply for her students. We have taken my daughter a few times and she has LOVED it so far. She loves animals so much and this gives her the space to be herself with no judgement, no worries. Martha (the owner) is such a genuine, caring, compassionate person. She lets my daughter talk, explore, ask questions and is never forceful about any certain structure for the sessions. The sessions are held on a farm outside of town which is very relaxing for our family to step outside of our regular, daily life. You can really step into another world and enjoy the quiet (besides when Maybelline gets excited) and uncomplicated environment surrounding you. I know Martha is excited to see our family grow and I can't wait to continue on this wonderful journey with Pegasus Path.

I own and operate a private preschool. With the pandemic going into the second year, I have been very concerned about the trauma our children have been undergoing as well as all the tension and stresses adults have been going through with the unrest in our nation and the world. I visited Martha on September 13, 2021 and had such a wonderful time visiting with her and Maybelline the miniature donkey. The farm is located away from the busyness and chaos of town life. Martha was teaching me about horses and donkeys being herd animals and that they have no agenda. My worries and concerns melted away as I walked with Maybelline and learned more about her and myself. I highly recommend anyone experiencing stress and anxiety to contact Martha for a session.

Martha is a blessing to my daughter, our family and to this community. This is not work for her, I feel this is her calling. She is helping my daughter come to know her sensitivities as her strengths. She is also helping my daughter cultivate confidence and joy. Martha has been an outstanding instructor for my daughter and she has been very responsive, flexible and easy to work with on scheduling. We have had a great experience and I am impressed at how quickly my daughter has learned how to ride.
